I watched the product video online. The video indicated no shipping or handling charges would be added. When I went to the order form there was no place on the form to waive S&H fees. Upon further investigation and review of the Inventel.tv organization, I concluded they have zero integrity in product quality or in complaint resolution. Hence, I will not order ANYTHING FROM INVENTEL.TV ever.

Desired outcome: Prevent further retail crap companies from ripping off consumers.

InvenTel Dash Cam Pro

I received my two Dash Cams a couple of weeks ago & fitted them last Friday. The Menu/Mode button doesn't work on one camera & the two cameras are two different models. What do I have to do?

My wife ordered the cameras about three months ago & they arrived about three weeks ago. Her name is J.A. Kane. The Credit Card she payed with has since been canceled & replaced.

InvenTel Antenna

I tried cancelling an order on 1/25/22 for $63.33. Not only was I charged $63.33 anyway, but I recently was charged another $33.33 on 2/23/22. I did NOT order anything else. I'd like reimbursement, but can't contact anybody. A phone number is not listed and I have no other numbers or things to connect with this charge.

InvenTel HD Mirror Cam

I bought 3 of the HD mirror cams for my family members for Xmas after having one of my own for a while. Only 1 of the 3 work properly. One has an upside-down video and the menu words are backwards. The other came on with the intro screen and never went past that; now it's blank. The reset button didn't correct either problem. A technician was supposed to call me back, but nothing so far. I bought it over 60 days ago, so I can't return them. I would not buy this product again.

InvenTel hd mirror cam

Mirror Cam will not work.
It goes on, but that is it.
Buttons do not work.

I read and followed all the directions.
The mirrorcam buttons do not work or perform any functions.
I spent two hours trying to get it to work, but it will not.
The red light goes on, but not camera in right corner.

I can't get any one on the phone.

I want a refund.

I mirror cam worked a few times with no issues. I purchased the item from HSN. Now nothing is working on it. On the right of the mirror is icon slogan that will not go out. The buttons are not responding. I see on the web I am not the only one having the issues. No warranty but I would say this is a piece of junk. We all should be refunded asap. Now

InvenTel cobra coil

I recently purchased 2 of the cobra coil mobile phone dock stand upon opening the devices it was discovered that both devices were defective one unit would not charge the docked device, the other device would not allow mounting of the cobra head connection device upon checking the second drive it was discovered that the White tab inside the coil was missing. I am very dissatisfied with my product and since I wasn't able to produce a record of my purchase the store would not allow exchange or refund I would prefer a exchange over refund as I believe thedevice will be a great product to have and use.please email me back with solutions or suggestions. InvenTel hd mirror cam

I ordered 2 units on 6-27-18. My order number was [protected]. My order total was $189.94. Both units were returned, on different dates, as they both began to malfunction within the parameters of your return policy. I have confirmed that you received both of them. After many emails and phone calls, I have only received a partial refund of $64.99. I am still owed $124.95! Who gives a partial refund?!? What is that? I have all receipts from my order and tracking info for my return(which I am out of pocket for). Each time I call or email, I get the same basic response, "Check is in the mail". Well, I'm here to say that is not true! There has been more than a reasonable amount of time for you to refund the money! This is unethical, not to mention shady, and probably illegal. My next steps are to take legal action and contact my state and federal attorney general offices. Last chance to make this right, Inventel!

I placed my order on Sept 10, 2018. I called them Sept 20 since I paid extra for express shipping. I was surprised that my order is under a different name. Told me to call back, I've been calling still the same problem. It's Oct 1, and called them again, worst they said I haven't paid it yet, they hang up my call. This is a terrible company, never never order from them

I bought this product and I have some complaints.
1) Camera works but has wrong date display when I put the chip in my computer to play back.
2) video only shows white screen.
I need to exchange this product or get my money back. This really shady business. My next move will be social media and the BBB. I hope can get this taken care before I got there. Looking forward to hearing from you.

InvenTel dash cam

They claim it was mailed on March 7, 2018 it is now March 23, 2018. Called "customer service" what a JOKE! Product coming from Henderson, Nevada. I told them I could walk there and pick it up faster then shipping it. Henderson, Nevada is only 3 hrs driving from
where I live in Southern California.
Customer service reps are a joke...they say it's been sent out but they have a glitch in their system and so there is no tracking. They claim
they use Fed-Ex. They lie it had not been mailed out, they have had my money since I placed the order. I cancelled order first she said I could not cancel order because it's already been sent out...then she said "fine I'll cancel it". I'm calling my bank.
This company is a SCAM!

InvenTel still haven't received it.

I ordered this hd mirror cam on August 4, 2017. I paid for expedited delivery for $7. Six days after I ordered I called them because UPS say lable was made but they have not gotten the product into UPS possession yet. I called hd cam customer service and after a very long wait I finally got a person. He went on apologizing and offering a refund for the cost of expedited shipping($7). I accepted that offfer. To this day August 17, 2017 (2 weeks after order) I have not received refund or package yet. In fact I was just told by UPS that they still show a lable made but they still have not gotten the package in their hands yet. So, over 2 weeks and the schmo's at hd mirror cam can't even get the package out of warehouse yet. I am going for a full refund and would caution all of you from buying anything from these people.

Ordered on June 22, 2017. It is now going on 6 weeks and have not received product. When u call customer service you are sent to a web site to check status. You cannot talk to anyone to get information or complain. Not a company to trust. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Still waiting on my order. They processed my payment immediately. This company is a rip off

Have the Mirror Cam for a number of weeks, seems to work fine. I already had the mini SD card from another (different company) camera and it works fine. My power cord has broken at the end of the plug, sent an email and instructed to return with a money order and/or check for $5.95 for return postage. Have not returned it yet, does not indicate who to make the check out to.
I have had to reset it on occasion but so far have not had a problem. Removed the SD card and ran it on the laptop with video and shows my travels. Format was easy (on the laptop) and so far has worked as stated.
I do say however the video screen does not have a lot of contrast and it is difficult to see during the day.
Other than the charger going bad (made in China) I have had no problems.
Will report additionally in a couple of months.

I order 2 hd mirror cams. I want to return the one that i have not opened. I ordered it for my friend but he doesn't want it. I have called the customer service phone number several times and no one answers. I was on the line for up to 20 minutes waiting for a customer service representative. No one took my call. When i call tomorrow and get no answer i am going to call the antonery general of new jersey and make a complaint about this company.

total scam. i bought one of these junk cameras and after 2 months it failed. at the time i was involved in a road rage incident with a driver who not only cut me off but followed me into a parking lot and got out of his car with a weapon in his hands . i had turned the camera towards him to document it for the cops but guess what? it wasn't reading the chip and none of it was on video. i then was told by the worst customer service that i was out of luck because i didn't pay the extra money for a one year warranty so i had a mirror that failed after only two months. i was then told i could simply buy another one for a discounted price of $40 and i could buy a one year warranty for an extra $10 so i did. that new camera took about two months to get to my house and it didn't work right out of the box. i shipped it back after being told they would send me a replacement and after another two months i finally got it in the mail. i plugged it in and the screen lit up. the next day i went to start my car and my battery was dead. i had to pay a guy to come out to jump start my car who told me that it was the mirror cam that drained my battery and caused me to miss a doctor's appointment. for the 15th time i spoke to their horrible customer service i was told i would get a refund in 3 months after they receive the mirror. i mailed the mirror back to them today. i have no idea why the state attorney, better business bureau and other govt agencies haven't shut them down and made arrests.

Call the number, and a very rude person with an Indian accent said to send an email, when I told him I have send numerous e-mails, he claimed the product is no longer under warranty.. and hang up the phone. It appears every one who complaint about this product seem to keep getting same old story and run-around.. Inventel might base off shore. But rest assured long arm of the US Federal Commission and other Federal agencies can reach out and touch you scammers in due time.

I purchase HD Mirror Cam from you about 1.5 years ago. The serial Number for the CAM is BMCH100445A184669, for the first year the Cam seem to work well.
Over the past two months I notice When I turn it on the screen lights, the battery figure comes up green then turns red and the unit shuts off. I connect it inside to be charged for over 24 hours, and the problem continues. Is there any way to change the rechargeable battery?

I called the Inventel customer support line to report a failing HD Mirror Cam device. The battery fails to take/retain a charge. I was told that the internal battery is removable and that it's NOT soldered to the circuit board. After hours of tender sweat and tears, I was able to open the device up just to discover that the battery IS soldered to the board.

This has got to be the worst customer service of any product that I've ever purchased! The worst.

And to top it off, I have yet to receive a follow up to the email messages sent to their customer support mailbox.

The good news is, the device worked flawlessly for the better part of 18 months prior to this issue.

I don't recommend buying this product only because of this less than favorable product support experience.

I place an order for one hdcamera on the last week of July. I figure if I pay the expedited delivery I will get it in a week or so. And like everybody else I had to try a couple of times because they keep hanging up the phone on me. And when I was able to talk to somebody I was so angry I cancel the order right away. He did had an accent but I understood him. I thought everything was ok and they never charge my credit card, that was until I saw my statement today one month after, so I call again and the same thing happened . I started talking and they hung up the phone on me a couple of times before I talk to the person that said that the order was indeed cancel but they had problems with the check. I ask what check ?, I pay with credit card, he said they were going to refund me the money with a check . HOW IS THAT ...I have to pay interest on my credit card for that money now.
They were suppose to put that money on my card right away. This company is a fraud, and they should be investigated by the government.

I had your awesome rearwiew mirror for 6 weeks. It stopped working. It would activate when I drove but after 20 seconds it would automatically turn off. I’m very disappointed of how long it worked.
My son was in an accident that was not his fault and it didn’t record it cause it disengaged and turned off 2 hrs prior. Your cam is great for 5 weeks.
What a waste. I still have it if you want me to return it and send me a new one. Other than that, my Facebook and tweeter and my personal website friends will know what a waste of money it is. I will report you to the BBB if this is not rectified

I purchased an HD Mirror Cam and installed it in my vehicle after buying the micro SD card which was not included. A short while later, the unit kept turning itself off, and I had to jiggle the car charger to get it going again only to have it malfunction within minutes. I contacted Inventel customer service and the rep said he would send out a new car charger cord but after months waiting, it never arrived. They are a SCAM. DO NOT BUY from this company! I recently tried the customer service number again and my call was routed to an off shore company who tried to scam my personal information such as date of birth, etc...When I refused to give personal information, they refused to connect me with the original toll free number. They should be INVESTIGATED!

InvenTel dashcam pro

I drive truck, and don't need a high priced dashcam, just something that can differentiate between a car ahead of me and the road. The cam was on sale at WalMart, and understanding that it was only $35 and my low requirements, I bought it.

The quality of the camera is something that you'd find in the un-wanted toy bin at a buck-shop. It looks decent, but feels like garbage. The manual is all but useless and the interface is terrible, especially because the buttons only decide to work about half the time.

I had the same memory card issues that everyone else seems to have, if they actually get the unit, and that is that it randomly decides whether it'll recognise the micro SD card or not, even when the cam's own format utility is used. It'll just randomly decide, during use, that it can't find the sd card anymore and this is if you're lucky enough to get it to find the SD card when it starts. None of the computers in my house would recognise the unit as a removable disc either. When it actually did manage to record a picture or video, I couldn't delete them - it said they didn't exist, even though it would show me a list of them. The problem likely stems from the fact that the camera is such a piece of junk, as well as the low grade quality of the micro SD adapter.

The mount is low grade and couldn't be tightened so the camera would stay pointing where you aimed it.

The battery went from full charge to zero in 11 minutes. I timed it, twice. ?

The video quality, while not needing to be great, was terrible and extremely grainy - regardless of what video settings were used. The low light feature (the useless little LEDs on either side of the lens) are seemingly there for cosmetics because they do nothing at night or in low light conditions. Didn't change the light levels or quality of the video and there are no settings to turn it on.

Their tech support is unsurprisingly terrible too. Their phone number doesn't work because they can't get their own phones to work, so you have to call another number. After (seemingly) the sole employee in tech support is finished in the bathroom and finally decides to answer the phone, he has no answers to any of the problems. His solution is for ME TO PAY to send them back their piece of junk, and then they will send me a new one. ? Based on others' reviews, their RMA/shipping service didn't seem like it worked any better than their camera, so I realized the smartest thing to do was take the piece of junk back to walmart.

InvenTel dashcam pro

Ordered item on feb 3, 2016, received it on feb 12, 2016 by mail. Noticed immediately it was broken! When you put the card in the slot to make it work, it did not click in to the space, so the cam won't work! I started calling on feb 15, 2016, 3 days after I received it. I am still calling! I have called 13 times, most of the time I was told they would send out a return sticker. I do not have a working printer (This I told them many times so do not send it to my email). But they said they sent it to my email (Was not in my email after checking day after day). They kept telling me they mailed the return label to my home, still waiting! The time to get my $52.93 back has passed by over 2 months.
I have spoken to so many people at inventel it is ridiculous. I spoke to glenda was the 1st person, remi, ash 3 times, c. G. A supervisor, she did nothing also. I wrote letter on line, was told management was contacted. Called on 4/5/16 the person hung up on me, he didn't want to here me. On 4/8/16 called manual on line, he said he was going to send the label by mail, still waiting. I wrote another letter on line and called again. Still waiting for a simple return label to be mailed to my home!
