Hi
This internations.org is cheating their customers by auto withdrawal of money from customer's accounts. They never mentioned

anywhere about automatic renewal and this is a fraud. Even in my internation account, it is not mentioned anywhere about

this. I want to complain about this matter and want my money back. It is deducted just today and it made me so frustrated.

I feel also so upset about paypal that why paypal allowed them to auto withdraw money without even informing me.
Regards
Majid Shams

Thank you Franziska for your reply. In fact, I already emailed them and they replied me that they would never refund me. That's why i complained to paypal, econsumers.gov, complaintboard.com and also highlighted to its fb, twitter, youtube and forums. I will not stop complaint till the refund is done.

My name is Natali Ortiz and Internations is charging me for a membership that I never ask. They say I have I pay before cancelling the membership. I never activate the membership. I don't have any email of the membership activation, I think this an abuse of InterNation.

If InterNations has access to your credit card information, it is already too late.
You will no longer be able to do anything to be billed for undue amounts.

Phase 1: They reassure you before they get the informations. Once the informations has been obtained, internation.org moves on to ...

phase 2: your access to the invoicing data will disappear from their site. You will not be able to change anything before the trial period and even at the end of the year you were unduly charged, they will charge you again: they will tell you that access to cancellation is still available, but do not believe them, that is not true. They know that their trap works. Then Internation.org moves on to ...
Phase 3: there are successive threats of prosecution against you. Do some research on the internet and you will see that hundreds of people complain about the process. The other victims are silent.

I live in France and have filed a complaint against InterNations.org so that this type of scam can be neutralized.
Be careful, it is the same site that manages all payments from all countries, no matter what your country is, it is the same treatment you will undergo. So don't be careless or naive. Make it known and run away from these crooks.

Best regards

Hi, I have exactly the same problem as you! There is nowhere that said auto-renewal. Then they sent an email saying if I don’t update my card info, my membership may not be renewed. So I had believed that by not updating, I indicated my choice to not continue.
There was never any renewal confirmation email for two years+, then suddenly this year, they sent emails demanding another year’s membership and threatening legal action if I don’t pay! (What?) I have not been to any of their events for years!

I emailed them and got no response at first. Then I logged a ticket via their platform and finally got a response that refused to cancel this demand, claiming they sent me renewal emails (which is NOT true).
This is unethical. :(((

Guys, hundreds of people are affected and we're planning a massive legal action against them. First of all, it's worthy to email them copying all those organizations:, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , and your local consumer rights protection agency (whatever it's called) or to the police. They're threatening people and most of them pay as they got scared.

In my case, I had my credit card replaced and they were not able to charge the automatic renewal, which I was not aware of. Let me say that it was renewed in 2017 and I didn't notice it, paying for something that I didn't use. This organization does not send a renewal notice as the law requires and the intention is to get money from members easily.

Anyway, they contacted me since they were not able to charge. The membership was supposed to be renewed on September 10th and I sent 3 emails and one message through the website saying I don't want to be a member anymore, but they still want me to pay for the next year in full.

I thought they were a serious organization but now I know what they are really about...

Never been to any of their events and my membership was automatically renewed. Sent a email after a couple of hours asking to cancel that renew and the response was negative...

They did the same thing to me some time ago, and recently I was in the middle of some successful
closure with organizing a liason for a TV network in over 5 countries and was restricted without
telling me specifically why!

I just contact my attorneys!

I can't believe that instead of apologizing and refunding the money they stole, they even dare to pretend there is any point wasting more time writing to their customer service... First they steal your money, and then they waste your time...
Only a juicy law suite can put these scammers back at their place!
