Hometown America and MH Financial Services / Very Unprofessional bussiness

1 Denver, CO, United States Review updated:

We bought our home 2 years ago in the hometown america country side village of denver, we were happy about getting a new home. We are a young couple with 2 kids after, about a year we got a new manager. With the times being what they are we fell a little behind but at the beginning of the year we paid almost $5000 to catch up our mortage and lot rent. Then when we tryed to pay our last months lot rent(March) the office said they could not take it because our mortage has a stop payment which we were not late on on our account and that we would have to pay our mortage up or she couldent take our payment for lot. We then did not have enough to pay the full amount so we called our mortage company and they said they had no hold on our account. So then once again we went in to the office to pay to which the manager replied with a ton of attitude that she had already sent our acccount to the lawyer to take us to court. When we said but we tryed to pay you she pretty much told us oh well!! I am so tired of this we have had more problems then you could amagine we cant get our lot fixed even though our insurance said it was there job to fix it and we pay $541 a month JUST TO LIVE THERE!! This placed is just a headache and I dont suggest going through this to anyone thinking of moving here. If anyone knows someone to contact to help us out please e-mail me

$541 is actually the going rate for lot rent in Thornton, so look before you say its high. If you have a problem higher a lawyer.
