Haier America / Don't buy from them

We bought a Haier refrigerater from Brandsmart USA and the motor was unusually loud PLUS the door was crooked. Haier sent out 4 repair guys and 2 months of 25 plus calls but still could not get the problem fixed. They agreed to replace the refrigerator and asked us to cut off the cord and send it to them. I am very hesitant to do this based on their track record and am afraid it will be months before I get another refrigerator. If I cut the cord I will not have a refrigerator. They say that it is against their policy to give out the corporate number and the individuals at the local Haier office are extremely rude and do not follow up.
