I went into a GNC Store in Wyckoff. NJ, last Thursday. Under the Ultra Mega vitamins that I wished to purchase, was a Sale price of 9.99. When I went to checkout, I was charged 35.49. I have photos to accompany this. On top of that, the salesman asked if I had a Goldcard. I explained that it may have lapsed. He asked for my name, phone number & email address. After that, he started explaining all of the advantages of my new, upgraded membership. I told him that I hadn't asked for an upgrade, and he hadn't asked my permission for one. I should have walked out, but I needed the vitamins, so I paid cash, then took pictures of the shelf. He asked if I had a problem. I explained that I felt that I was misled. He told me that they hadn't had time to restock. I immediately wrote to corporate, on their site. No answer as of today.
Enlarge the red sales tag photo. You will see the product code under the price.
It's also shows that you bought the 120ct and it was not on sale but was indeed priced at $35.49
