GM Financial / total loss/lease

I have a vehicle that was totaled in december 2017. My insurance company paid their portion in january 2018. It is now 6 months later and I am still fighting with gm about my gap insurance. Every time I call they are rude, curt and have no idea what is going on. They never return my phone calls. They send me bills and when I call no one has any idea what the payment is for. I just got off the phone again and they have no idea why the gap insurance has not paid.
I am trying to close on a house. This is still on my credit and debt owed and I need it off so I can close!! Worst customer service, worst company I have ever dealt with. 6 months later!! This is unacceptable!! Today I received a bill for the total amount gap owes and again no one at gm knows why!
