The criminals are winning. 97.1 FM’s Jamie Allman interviewed Vianni Dickey a former GAP store employee. Vianni was fired after she pursued two shoplifters and recovered stolen merchandize. The store rewarded her with a suspension and later fired her. She did Loss Prevention's Job and because she did was he did not, Loss Prevention Team had her fired. Just one question where was Josh when all of this went down? Sounds like if LP was doing his job then Vianni wouldnt need to do so! Perhaps this was racially motivtated? A white security officer, 2 african american shoplifters and Vianni who is neither...you do the math

Josh is the loss prevention officer at Gap at the ST Louis Galleria. He is white and about 27ish, wears glasses, short dark black hair, has a tattoo of a snake of some sort on top of his wrist right side i think, he is thin and like 5'9", his clothes may change but his shoes are either silver or gray tennis shoes. I couldnt findout his last name though but i can undersstand the math equasation now: Josh is white + Vianni who i understand is white but afemale + 2 blacks = the WHITE MAN wins! So, because she is a white female, Josh didnt like her stepping on his toes well Shame on Him for being sefish. I bet he took credit for HER merchandise taken back from the theifs! Well, Josh, at least we all knows what you look like now!

Oh and no, I aint Ms Dickey but I was terminated once before a couple of years ago at the same Gap so I keeps my eye out and has the back of others who are wrongfully terminated for doing whatz was oboviously the right thing to do! -- Peace

Josh is the root of the problem. We need a black security employee who will be fair to his race and knws tha not all low income black folk or gals with large purses, is thiefs! My friends and I come in there from to time and follow his ### around and oddly enough he no like it! Other friends come in there with the purpose of looking for him and egg him on just to get a reaction out of him and to let other customers in the store be aware of who and what he looks like, I mean for gods sake this is the Gap not Walmart!

Michelle loss prevention agent Eagan, mn twin cities outlet white shirt brown hair has threatened minorities and targets just them as she tells employees she only harasses black customers and she even went as far as to put merchandise in a woman's bag without customer looking then Michelle follows her around and stops the minority customer and confronts her about stealing in front of her kids and Michelle calls police and manipulated the situation as the minority woman customer were wrongfully targeted and accused when Michelle deliberately made false reports and pretends she saw customer steal when I'm actuality Michelle stole and placed item in a random black persons shopping bag. Michelle is very racist and minority customers beware of Michelle LPA short fat brown hair usually just walks around store looking to start racist trouble Michelle is KKK as well which Gap is obsessed with KKK racist lovers! True facts!

Use to work at gap factory the LPA (michelle) good employees she was trained to target minorities and ignore white shoplifters! This is how ignorant gap is! Val factory protects their OWN people and harass manipulate other s basically every minority has been followed in store and accused of theft by michelle. She only targets minorities as she has partnered with managers who support racism and used racial slurs at employees and customers but HR does not care about [censored]s! Mother [censored] gal factory they are ALL racist and proud!

Oh and also let me just say my partner that worked with me at the time was black and from north st. louis an black people gave him just as much ### as they gave me soooooo it doesnt ###ing matter if some one is black or white working in that store. =)
But i guess that what you get when so many ignorant people live in one area!

Let me just say i am a former loss prevention agent of that very store and they are deffiently not racist. Also thanks alot to the ### who posted what this Josh kid looks like. Your probably a shoplifter yourself. Everyone complains about crime and ### well let me tell you these people who are stealing from our stores are graduating to robbing banks and people in parking lots, so outting a LPA is very ignorant. I personally would have had Vianni right it up as a recovery but more than likely the GM of the store bubbled it up to Julie the LP's supervisor who is a stickler to the rules. Even if Josh was the one who got Vianni in trouble, he was just doing his job. People please quit pulling the race card all the time, its just a cop out and its pathetic now a days. For the record i never got mad at employees who were vigilant ...we work as a team. It is unfortunate Vianni was fired but she broke a policy and its a simple as that. I also broke a policy and was fired and what i was fired for was 10 times more ridiculous than this. I was basicaly fired for doing to good of a job. PS I LOVE ALL MY GAP PEOPLE AT THE GALLERIA!

Get your facts right bubba. Vianni is either Mexican or Spanish (Spain) and not white which is why she was a victim of discrimiantion and fired as such. Josh is the white lp guy who got madd when she did his job better then he ever could. This was retaliation on his part and the poor employee was hung out to dry. As the DJ pointed out, she got the store stuff back and risked her life to do so. I mean Ive heard about times when shoplifters out run security and yet, SHE managed to catch up to them through a parking lot. You GO Girl! If Josh id white and Vianni Disckey is not and the shoplifters were a 3rd race then, yes she was a victim of discrimation. I was an employee at another Gap in Missouri and employees are allowed to stop shoplifters when there is no LP around. We are to use customer service but common sense says that when they dont stop and then like anyone using a citizens arrest, she should have gotten a medal like the radio DJ said and not instead scolded like she was. If Lpss Prevention was not there at the time and an employee is then we are suppose to act and do what we can to get the stuff back. I mean if you dont then you gets into trouble for letting them gets away with it. She was dammed if she do and dammed for not.
It looks like Josh was jelous and had Vianni fored for doing HIS job Shame on you LP guy!

Who is Josh? And it doesn't sound racially motivated to me. If you're not loss prevention, you are not supposed to pursue shop-lifters as it can create a huge lawsuit. Also, since this person is not trained in loss prevention, I'm sure they didn't follow proper protocol.

Also, if she/he works in an at-will employment state, he/she can be fired for any reason at any time.
