Hi everyone,

I too am a victim of this scam. I have found however the trail leading to the so called Pres/CEO of this scam service... His name is Christian Heileson, the address is 197 Portland Street, Boston, MA 02114. The phone number is the same that you are to call to get customer service, [protected]. I found this through the Better Business Bureau which I suggest you all file a complaint with. The BBB ID number for this company is 102515. There is also another email address listed. It is [protected]@funmobile.com . Oddly enough there is only 1 complaint in the last 36 months on this company. Somehow they have managed to hide. So go to the BBB, the company was registered in Delaware in 2006 listed under Funmobile and register your complaint. Good luck to everyone and hopefully we all can turn the tables on this scam company.

I just noticed that I had a text message that I was to be charged 19.99/mo for something I have no idea what it is and I don't want. I didn't authorize this charge either.

I am also a victim to FunMobile. I have been receiving SMS almost daily from FunMobile. Thinking that these are just some junk SMSes, I ignored them without even scrutinize the text. Out of the blue I received a billing from my telco for "Weekly Membership Fee" of $9.98 per week.

I scrutinized the content of these SMSes and it said "$9.98 will be billed. To stop text stop MO to 77123".

I am definitely not paying for something that I did not subscribe to!

Beware, Verizon is getting me for over $20 a month and I never subscribed either. I am 60 yrs old and don't even know how to "text"; nor do I want to!

Will TRY, but really want revenge! Against them and especially Verizon, their partners in crime.

The same thing happened to me. I talked to Alltel and they take the attitude that it is not their problem. I don't see how legally Alltel can place a charge on your phone bill from another company without your authorization. I would like to hear some lawyers comments on this.

Verizon charged me $19.99 under PREMIUM TXT MESSAGING. I called to find out what it was. They told me it was funmobile. I have no idea what it was. The instructed me to send a text message to 86595 with a single word STOP. I did as I was told. I received a message in return that said I was not subscribed. Verizon credited me my 19.99.

I think Verizon should stop participating in this scam.

I never did receive my 'free' ringtone either. I did, however, receive a charge of $21.64 on my cell phone bill even though I texted STOP immediately after I 'subscribed'. Which of course we all know I didn't do!

My husband was REAL impressed... heh.

Hopefully it won't go any further than it has, and the charge will be dropped from my cell phone next month. If not, then I will request a number change.

I've definitely learned my lesson about buying ringtones. Next time I'll stick to what my service provider has to offer.

I did not authorize anyone to go in to my account. I don't want your card. Please refund all charges involved including all overdraft fees.

I am s0000 sick and frustrated with this as it has been going on at least 9 months and despite all my work to st0p this, FunM0bile comes out smelling like a r0se and I continue t0 be used by their lovely scam.

Isn't there anyway to stop them and p0ssibly be c0mpensated for the hav0c they have put me thru?

I keep calling and calling and every time I call I get a different response and somebody hangs up the phone before you can speak.

I DO NOT want to be charged for a subscription to this site and now they are hitting me with joke charges of $6.00 a week. This has to stop. This is absolutely ridiculous. I can't get anyone to talk with me. I will not be held responsible for charges that I keep canceling by phone, etc.

Funmobile Ltd. has sent unsolicited wireless text messages from mobile short code 99621 to Verizon customers stating their Verizon accounts will be billed 5.99 weekly/23.96 monthly for services that are unsolicited by the Verizon customers.

This Verizon customer has filed an antitrust complaint with the FTC against FunMobile LTD. https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01

I went to, http://usshortcodeswhois.com/ to find out who owns a mobile short code 99621 in the United States. I went to, http://GoDaddy.com to check the domain registration for http://usa.funmobile.com I went to, http://corporate.funmobile.com/index.jsp to get the contact information. [protected] is the real phone number from their web site. [protected] is the number appearing in the text message. It is not enables for voice communication.

Funmobile charges me for jokes I didn't want and tried to stop. I never opened any, and they won't take charge off my wireless bill.

Funmobile charging without our being able to stop them. I tried from the first day I received three of the same messages. I sent them please stop, then I tried blocking them, and kept erasing.

Funmobile offered a FREE download pet download via PetPlace.com. The tones WOULD NOT LOAD.

Yet my telephone bill shows a $19.99 and $9.99 charge.

Suggest those charged be removed immediately and no more attempts be made to charge my account for FREE and UNLOADABLE services.

My name is Tamekia and some how funmobile charged my account for Tmobile. I was looking on my pictures.com and they text me a message saying that im a member and i will be charged 9.99 a month so they sent me a message saying that if i wanted to cancel my account that i didn't order i just text stop so i did and they sent me a message saying that the order was cancelled. Then when my bill came they still charged my account 9.99 which happened feb.10 and they charged me twice in one month when they wasn't suppose to charge me at all because i didn't order it. So i sent a copy to my lawyer and if it's not returned to my account we will put a suit out on funmobile on Monday morning.

I clicked on an ad for free ringtones, which asked for information. I ill-advisedly answered. Immediately I was charged with $5.99 subscription service to Funmobile and my cellphone bagan receiving text messages. I immediately contacted Funmobile to cancel and unsubscribe and delete all charges. I am now into the 7th exchange of e-mails, and the subscription has been terminated, but the $5.99 charge is still in place. I've received a promise for a refund check within 12 weeks. I pointed out if the company is authorized to make a charge against a phone it should also be authorized to make a credit to the account.

I never asked for your texts but everyday while I'm at work I get a text with a stupid joke. First of all I'm being charged for texts that I don't want, second I'm at work and my phone which is left on for emergency purposes beeps which causes a problem and third I'm annoyed at these useless jokes that I never requested.
