Force Factor Credit Card Fraud

The very next day after I ordered this crap I got a call from my credit card company asking if some charges to my card were valid. They said there were two charges totalling over $1, 100 in New Jersey. One place was Best Buy. I told them I have not been to Jersey in months and have bought nothing from Best Buy. How do I know this credit card fraud was done by someone in Force Factor? Easy, I only used my card at three other places. At none of those places did I supply my name, address, card number and most importantly, 3 digit security code on back of card. Also, they were places I have done business with for years. Anyone ordering from this site will lose more than just another charge for their product. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Force Factor Free Trial

I accepted to take the "free trial" for the product "Force Factor". The product in hindsight appears to be a complete scam. They initiate the process with a phony "quiz" as to whether or not a person qualifies for the "free trial" I would later ask the supervisor I contacted by phone, if anyone actually did not qualify. He refused to give me that information. Force Factor does send you a 14 day supply of pills for the the shipping fee which you pay. The only reason they charge you for shipping the product is to secure your credit card information. Its very obvious in hindsight. Their add is very lengthy and since the average person only consumes or reads 24 to 50 words of any typical add. They know full well. You will never notice that they have a stipulation.

The Stipulation is that you have to call in and cancel the product 18 days after the reciept of the quoite "Free Trial" or they will charge your credit card for 80.00 for an addition order of the product. Basically charging you and shipping you a product that you never officially order. Does that sound like a "scam" to you. I sure hope it does. Because it absolutely is. Then you have to ask, if their free trial is such a scam. How about the product you are putting your body. It most likely is also a scam. I say on this a HUGE BUYER BEWARED.

I spoke at length with three representatives on the phone and their attitude about my complaint was basically. We could "care less". They did state they would give a refund upon receipt of the returned product. Originally the first rep said they couldn't refund if I had opened the package. My statement was. How would I know what it was "if I didn't open the plastic bag to take the actual box out"...they then revised their refund. At this time I have been only promised a refund but have not seen anything. Please I implore you do not buy this product ...typically where there is one scam there are many. .

Of course "I'M IN THEIR SHOES" is not like all of us "typical ignorant buyers". She is so esteemed that she goes from complaint to complaint on the "complaints board". Trying to defend all of the poor businesses that are being accused of something or other. I mean don't all you people ..."do that" ? Also I would like to ask, what type of insane, rubber roomed lunatic would in their wildest dreams attempt to do what "I'M IN THEIR SHOES" has undertaken. She's both a Free Sample addict and the Complaint Board's psuedo-barrister. It truly takes all kinds...and "I'm in their shoes" is a "kind" for the ages...

Enough said FORCE FACTOR is a scam...it doesn't work and its run by out and out con artists.

"The free sample is yours to keep"...that's what the terms and conditions state. I would hope the "free sample" would be yours to keep ! Also the condition is a scam to begin with. And to blame the consumer is the typical fair of scammers. Its the consumers fault that the scammers "scammed" you, in the opinion of In Their Shoes. Its also the buyers fault that the scammers used their credit card without the buyers authorizing the transaction. Also possibly this fake "I'm in their shoes" should ask how many times Free Offer is posted and never accompanied by any statement of additional requirements in additional places throughout the add ? ...also how long the actual add is. Also that the buyer has to take a test to see if they are eligible for the use of the product. Which is fake.

Hindsight is 20/20 I could very well play the role of I'M IN THEIR SHOES...and learn of a scam and then go back and scoure the add to find out how the buyer was wrong in the situation, also. That's very simple !...then tell the buyer that they're THE TYPICAL IGNORANT BUYER...in other words. I'm IN Your Shoes needs to learn about the proper way a form should be designed...then look at the form that FORCE FACTOR Designed. It might do her good and keep her away from all the FREE TRIALS she's been bush with...! 20 free trials...wow...!

Not only do you contradict the statements. You blatantly...call the person "a typically ignorant customer". Which is a slur. Maybe you should read "Miss Manners". What is a "typically ignorant customer or consumer" ?. What is typical ? I think that you're a typical phoney...and you're giving credibility to a scam. That's what I believe.

20 Free trials ? You must be a busy girl ! I doubt if you're a girl at all. Anybody who takes time to check this out the way you did, has to work for these scammers. Its funny that you present this all in a way which presents a perfect case for a bunch of scammers. Probably because you work for these scammers. No one is going to research this "out of the blue"...and contradict an honest statment.

Force Factor Fraud

Force factor from GMC is a joke. They tell you its free then charge you 75 buck for it 2 weeks later. It doesnt work unless you are taking it to give you the runs then it works grate. If you take this stuff plan on being on the toilet for a while. Then when you call in to tell them to reverse the charges they give you a hard time. DO NOT FALL FOR THERE TRICKS. AND DONT BUY THERE DIAREA PILLS!

Same here, Force factor is a SCAM. They have no business ethics. Their staff is well trained in manipulative legal acrobatics.
I direct this simple question to Force Factor to test their integrity:

1) Are you offering a trail 'free sample'? JUST pay $4.99 SHIPPING!
or are you
2) Selling a 'Recurring $74.99 monthly subscription' to a product. While adding a 'free trail sample' ?

Payment for Shipping should be used for Shipping ONLY, Your miss use of entrusted payment information for unsolicited merchandise is not just immoral or unethical; it's stealing.

FORCE FACTOR Please help me understand, currently I lack appreciation for your business practices, to say the least.

I will pursue or join a class action law suit if formulated

Please tell me Force Factor, why are you on here responding trying to appear to "rectify " the situtation when your phone customer care reps are the rudest human beings I have ever had the misfortune to speak to...and would not immediately refund my money? Shouldn't you worry about training them properly and keeping them at bay?Or do you think its appropriate responding on here while they still accuse customers asking for a refund that they do not know how to read instructions? Instead go and fix your misleading add. I will pursue a class action law suit if one is formulated.

I have also been ripped off by Force Factor. They tell you it is FREE and then you suddenly get suspicous when they keep sending you another 60 capsules package every MONTH. You check your credit card statement..and the sneaky low lifes are charging your 75 bucks EVERY MONTH ! The pills dont even work. They are garbage!

What a great country when ### baks like this can get away with such a sleaze scam as this.

Force Factor advertised a "free trial" which misleads itself to state I fell under an exclusive category to qualify to try their product for free. They go as far as to say their product is a weird, secret trick. First of all none of the above are true. There is nothing unique about the product and the supplement is mediocre at best . It's free trial ended up charging $75 to my account that I did not authorize . Of course after 4 pages of ads I would miss the disclaimer stating they would charge me this amount only after 18 days, and upon the 18th day they would send me a bottle I did not even want or ask for . Just because you put a disclaimer on a "free trial" does not make it ethical, and a proper way to business. It is misleading to the public and leaves a horrible taste in people's mouths, and overdraws their account . None the less the customer service representative was HORRIBLE. He questioned my ability to read the instructions on how to take the pill properly, when in fact I did and am a nutrition and fitness enthusiast, and college educated . I believe I can read just fine, thank you scam artist. He was rude, wasted my time, hesitated by all means to give me my refund, and then had the nerve to try to pitch me other products . He said I caught a tone with him and would terminate the call because I was simply asking him to just give me my refund . This is beyond bad business, these people are using a horrible product to scam the public . I will pursue further action on this, and there is not anything this company can do for me to stop me .

I saw an advertisement online for a nitric oxide muscle building product called Force Factor. It caught my attention because it was endorsed by professional athletes like the Chicago Bulls' Derrick Rose and Vernon Davis of the San Franciso 49ers. There was a promotion to received a FREE sample of Force Factor and I reluctantly signed up. I don't usually do things like this but I thought it seemed legitimate. I received my FREE sample very fast and tried the product over the next couple weeks (although honestly I felt no difference). Then, the company bills my account $74.95 and sends me another bottle of the product. Very unethical in my opinion and their return address isn't even posted on the internet...you have to call their information line to get it. I will never use this product again. Do NOT buy anything from this company...Its a shame that Rose and Davis are endorsing such a terrible company.

Ordered the trial sample of product, paid shipping of 4.99. No problem. Next thing I know there is another bottle and a $75 charge on my credit card. When I called for an explanation, they refused to accept the return of this unordered product and a refund of my $75. They claimed that it was part of the terms and conditions.
I believe it is part of this companies business practice to mislead consumers. These terms are potentially buried within the website but are not clearly put forth under any circumstance. They are a dba out of Massachusetts which has one of the toughest consumer protection agencies. I would encourage everyone to contact the attorney general as I have done.

Force Factor desecptive marketing and business pactices

DO NOT ORDER THE FREE FORCE FACYER SAMPLE...

After ordering the force factor sample i started recieveing 30 day supplies of force factor in the mail and my CC was charge $80. I guess in the fine print you have to call back and cancel otherwise by acepting the free sample you are automatically signed up for a monthly auto-order bottle of Force factor for $80.

On several pages it clearly states "Just pay shipping and handling" "No further obligations"

do not fall for these deceptive marketing and business practices...

Dear Sir:

Looking for your email address so as to write you about returning the Force Factor order, to my surprise, there is none, but phones numbers. Could you please forward your email address? Because I'm deaf. As soon as I get your email I will get the package shipped back to you. I can not use them since I have cirrhosis. I may order it again in the future only if I'm well enough to do so.

Force Factor Free trial scam

Little green box? Right next to the words "free trial?" must have missed it. However, this is a scam. Its 100% shaddy. Sad how this business has to "trick" customers into using their product. If it was legit, they would refund all your money. Not just some of it. . . Even if it did work - id still not use the product. I don't want to be associated with a company that cheats customers period. The phone number worked for me. Now lets see if they actually follow through with a partial refund.

When I ordered mine they were claiming to include a $100 rebate coupon with the trial. I didn't receive a coupon with my trial and they gave me a number to a rebate coupon company who would "sort it out". The rep for the rebate company said they've never done business with Force Factor and asked for my information to add to the list of names of the people who were scammed that way. Apparently they're pursuing a harassment lawsuit against Force Factor for giving out their number and saying they would give people coupons. So hopefully they'll get what's coming to them, the rebate coupon crap shows that they are 100% scamming people so enjoy prison guys, I cancelled my subscription and told my bank to treat any charges from them as fraudulent so if they pull that unauthorized charge crap with me they're gunna end up in court. I also filed an ICC report and i suggest you all do the same.

Force Factor's Free trial scam is so very obvious. Let me explain. First the tool of a Scam is to make the honest person appear to be at fault in the matter. This is typically done by making them to appear negligent. And I've actually seen statements by persons claiming to be actual representatives of FORCE FACTOR. Referring to buyers as "Stupid" or "Dumb" because they didn't read all of their cleverly crafted fine print.

I ask you what honest business sells you a product without you actually authorizing the sale ? They FORCE FACTOR secure your credit card. They do this by giving you a FREE TRAIL OFFER but you must pay for the shipping with a credit card. They then use your credit card to buy an item that you never authorize. And lo and behold...the product is their own. And suprise ...surprise they mail you an item you never wanted. Then after you receive it. They claim its all "your" fault because you didn't read their three or four page add. Yet the print is in a large box right next to your credit card info (so, guess what "sucker" its all you fault, so shut up". Well ...let's put it this way. If the business was honest. They would give you a free trial offer. Then you would decide and say "Hey, this is a great product". I would love to buy some more. No, that's not how FORCE FACTOR does it, they just set up a difficult to understand add slanted at manipulating the buyer to overlook a fraudulent sale. In which they take your credit card information and buy you a helping of their product and ship it right to you. Horrible. Scams like this happen every day. They are taken into court rooms every day and thieves like Force Factor are publically humiliated into being shown for what they are --- "crooks"...

Yep, just got a $75 charge for a product that I didn't order. "Free" sample, yeah right. And the product gave me terrible headaches on top of it. This is a shady way to do business and it's really tacky. Big thumbs down for force factor and to GNC for still knowingly putting up with this company that sells on their website WITH the knowledge they practice business this way (according to the GNC customer service rep I just spoke to). She was happy to give me the force factor number though because apparently there have been quite a few upset customers with the same charges to their credit cards

Contact the card issuer (visa, Matercard, Etc) immediately to dispute the charge and then file a complaint with the FTC. You can do that online at FTC.gov or by phone at 1-877-FTC-HELP.

Force Factor force factor

DO NOT FORCE FACTOR. I PURCHASE FORCE FACTOR AND RETURNED THE BOTTLE UNOPENED DURING THE FREE TRIAL AND THE COMPANY REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY 87 DOLLARS BACK. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. NOTICE ALSO THE THE WEBSITE THAT ADVERTISE THE PRODUCT IS MISLEADING WHEN IT COMES TO WHO QUALIFIES FOR FORCE FACTOR. YOU CAN PUT IN ANY HEIGHT OR WEIGHT AND GOAL AND IT WILL ALWAYS SAY YOU QUALIFIED. YOU CAN SAY THAT YOU ARE 2 FEET 300 POUNDS AND WANT TO GAIN MORE WEIGHT AND YET THE WEBSITE SAYS YOU QUALIFY. I RETURNED THE PRODUCT BECAUSE OF THE DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING METHODS AND YET THEY REFUSE TO RETURN MY MONEY

don't be putting down ###ing fat people looking to get skinny. every one isn't the same body type just like every one dosm't look a like. 99% of over weight people want to be slime. no matter what they eat or how the do it they can't see too lose it. me i am 6'3'' 270 lbs. am i over weight of course. but back in the 8th grade i was 240 lbs thought i was fat. lost down to 175 during my 9th grade summer. that f'ed me on going to college to play football. when i graduated i was 197. then after about a year after high school i started to work out and loved it. started taking the supplyment androstene. i gained 20 lbs in two or three months. my arms went from 14 inches to 16.5 so that ### worked great then they took it off the shevlves. then steroids. f'en awsome. got up to 260 all mucle 6'3 arms size 21'' chest 55'' now the down side is my mother is over weight my dad was. so i have the so called fat genes. after stop working out due to having a son and starting a family the fat side has showed its ugly head again. so what i'm getting at is if i think this will help me lose weight then i'm going to try the force factor 2 and anything else thats legal. if it works then great if not try something else. cost me 4.99 big deal.

This has to be the biggest rip I have seen, I am embarrassed to think I have been a part of it, nothing is for free and as for the way in which Force Factor does business is disgusting and as I have not received any credit after sending back the product I have a lot of time to ensure that I make this complaint in to a personal crusade and put it on every web site I can for years to come, they will rue the day they ignored my complaint! I will allocate one hour of every day for the first month on the net to ensure that all the world knows how they dud people. Am I upset? Yes a little but revenge is the only way to treat such an organisation which has extremely poor service and does not do what it says it is to do.

Phone representatives for force factor are rude... I find it strange that they don't offer an email address so that consumers have written documentation of the correspondence. How convenient for them. Susan, why don't you offer up an email address that can be used by customers that do not want to waste any more time with your terrible phone operators?

I agree 100% but it's quite obvious Force Factor is doing it in a very shady way because of all the commotion you see all over the internet regarding the "scam".

I tried to work is with a Force Factor rep. and it didn't get resolved. I explained to him that I was on to the company's unethical business practice and wanted a full refund and he wouldn't do it. It's a total scam. Stay away.

Force Factor Misleading &Trial& add

Force factor is indeed a scam. This company misrepresents their introductory "trial" offer. Beware of signing up for trial orders of this product. I ordered one bottle on line, and I am now being charged for additional products which I did not order. I'm now filing a legal complaint with the authorities. This cat is hopefully going to prison for mail fraud.

Please stop misleading your Turmeric as the best on the market with the highest Curcumin. Your product is 85% Curcumin. Infowars MD Turmeric is 95%. Curcumin. Stop the false advertising.

there is no way to contact them and they have no working telephone number. I just had to contact my bank and keep up with my tracking information and make sure they credited back to my account. Ridiculous and will never use them again.

I definitely agree that their add is misleading and a real Scam. I too got caught because I cant read the small Print even using 3X Magnification Reading Glasses or my Prescription Multifocals because of shortsightedness. The Fair Trade Laws in Australia state that all information regarding such offers must be fully displayed so as to be readable and we have a 10 Day cooling off Period under the Consumer Affairs Trade Laws. Also it is hard especially here in Ausralia and because of the Time Zone difference we would have to ring to cancel between the hours of 1am and 8 am and because I am a disability Pensioner I quite often don't get up before 8am at which Time I usually take my Breakfast. Also because I have Chronic hearing loss making phone calls even with a Speaker Phone I often have to second guess what People are saying often with disasterous outcomes so I do most of my Communications by email, but Force Factor AKA Nutraclick do not have a email address to contact and Cancel within 18 Days. They took 4 days to even ship the product and then close to a week to receive the Product which is roughly 10 Days not leaving much Time to call and cancel any future orders. I believe this to be a deliberate action or ploy on Force Factor AKA Nutraclick to reduce a person's time to be able to opt out. $100 US plus postage and handling for I months Supply is excessive in my Books because the 14 Day trial offer according to the recommended use of 4 capsules a Day is only 5 days supply where I can purchase locally from my local Nature's Work Shop Caruso's Test O Rod a 2 Month Supply for just $70AU a clear saving of around $40AU. As my Disibilty Suport Pension provides me with limited income at the married rate then $100US is accesive for just one month especially when out of that Pension we have Groceries, Power, Medications, Fuel and Water, Car Insurance, Registration and the Hire of Disabilty Aids and toss in Property Rates as well as Home and Contents Insurance and other intermitent Bills.

This way that the Add is presented is definitely a first Class Scam and I was not worried about the Labido or Sexual Aspect as that is a mind Issue. Having low Testostrone levels is the reason I wanted to give the Product a try but even that is a Scam if you peel the Force Factor Label of the Bottle the writing is again so small that I at least can't read it properly even then the Bottle is not clearly marked with the Manufactures Name so as one can search for informaton on studies and Scientific Information or double Blind Studies that give any Idea to the actually claimed Benefits to make an informed decision as to the effectivenss of the Product so without a doubt it is a 100% Scam.

I did the exact same thing as the complaintant here with the same company. I will have to say though Force factor was VERY understanding of the situation and was willing to offer there money back guarantee. so I really can't complain to much. i don't like the deceptive tactic of this kind of advertising and i told them that. this should just go down as a lesson..please please please read ALL the terms and conditions before hand and if you can't find them then don't make an order.

I totally agree with the complaint here. If a company is offering a free trial and then are going to expect you to pay for something it shouldn't be in "fine print" this is clearly a misleading tactic by the company. If their product is worth what they charge then they shouldn't need fine print to sell it in a misleading way. these companies pray off of people who do not (as some of the ###s that have posted here) read the fine print. If you have nothing to hide then there shouldn't be fine print. this is a lousy business tactic and should be illegal.

Just a small comment to the guy that first commented. I've been involved with real FBI scams in my life. I've been involved in a mutibillion dollar scam actually about two weeks ago. However, I did not know it was a scam. Buddy, I recommend you keep doing what your doing and sue them. Take all their money. Being scammed is a terrible feeling. And reading all the information on the page I do agree that it is a very well thought out scam. Every little piece of information is correct. I've been a body builder for about 3 years now. And I can tell you that nitric oxide is the key to working out. Give MusclePharm's new Assault a try. I started on it a couple months ago and haven't looked back. Good luck my friend. For any advise feel free to email me. davidtatwood@student.midlandstech.edu.
