Internet Service - Fibre optic connection
Hello There,
Thanks a lot for providing such a platform, kind of exclaimed being a first time user. I am getting constantly harassed by the company mentioned for default payment, according to them. The history is explained below for your kind understanding.
I have had an internet connection in use under an A/C no: [protected] with the company in the year 2017. Being fed up of the quality of the service coupled with my necessity to change my apartment, I have decided to discontinue the connection and started contacting the company through phone calls. Every attempt to contact the company was extremely difficult to get through and the telephone numbers provided were never attended.
However, I have been posting repeated requests to all possible e-mail id's available in the company websites which also were never responded. Amidst this attempts, I have been paying my bills to avoid running into disputes while the service is not being used. Once I received an SMS (which also I mention in one of the attached e-mails) that I will be contacted in 72 hours by the company representative to help me close the account, which also never happened.
My attempts to find our their offices in the town I live also hasn't succeeded. Now the company makes intermittent calls and deliver threatening messages reminding me of a pending payment of 749.23 SAR. The amount is shown in my name in the bank records as well now. This is a clear case of cheat from the part of the GO TELECOM, I would really appreciate if the matter could be resolved at the earliest.

I already renewal of 4G LTE GO Golden (180GB) - 2 months - Account id is [protected].
But until now no internet already I inform three times into the customer service but still same condition. Today again I call that time one of your technical support person told me we have many customers also have many problems you should wait for few days, how it's possible. So please tell me what I can do already I paid your money.

Please take any proper action. I need my device working or give me my full refund as soon as possible. They not listen to me last 16 days they are very rude just tell me wait wait and not give me any proper resolution.

I subscribed into Go Telecom fiber optics internet service for 20mb speed and gave all the information about my residence place and their plat id which they mentioned into their website. They sent me a message to pay SR. 899.00 for 6 months service which I did and after the payment their technician came to install the service into my flat. However, to my and their technician surprise, we found out that the plat number which we mentioned while placing the order has not been installed there even there is no fiber optics service available in my area from go telecom. The technician told me to call customer service center number [protected] and explain them all the situation . I called them and ask them for the refund. They told me that they will take up the matter with their technical team and try to resolve my issue. However, after more than 1 month and so many calls and 2-3 visit to their flagship office in Jeddah, they are failed to find any solution to my problem . Every time I call them, they give me same answer that my complaint raised and they will call me, but so far no body has called me and tell me as to how I am going to get my money back from these thieves. they are useless and have very low level service. my account number with them is [protected]. Is there anybody who can help me to get my money from this company?

I have returned the modem in good confdition from where I purchased at 'Jeddah, Aziz Mall Store within the stupilated time to one the representative named Mr Hasan on(10-sep-2009).
They promised withing 7 days I will get my refund in my account.But until today (i.e 10-oct-2009).
I therefore warn the prospecting customer thinking for going with GO services in future better beaware.Dont go with them.
I dont want you suffer in thier hand by losing your hard earned money.

ATHEEB GO BROADBAND HAS GONE!
With much fanfare, ATHEEB GO Broadband announced its arrival in Saudi Arabia. A huge media campaign deluged the city of Riyadh in early 2009, from posters, newspapers, to handouts. WIMAX had arrived and ATHEEB were spearheading the delivery of this technology to the city's eager consumers. Lightning fast speeds, reliability, and "around the clock technical support" were touted. With the temptation of irresistible promotions dangled in front of our glassy eyes. A picture of a speeding black bullet on their Home page as if to illustrate their blazing speed just seemed too good to be true. And it was … too good to be true!
The ATHEEB GO dream has degraded to regular and extensive drop outs, speed that dwindles to dial up, and lying Customer Support Agents that read from the same monotonous prepared script telling you that your complaint is with the Back Office and you can expect a call today or tomorrow repeated to frustrated callers day in and day out. With a parting "can we help you with anything else?" it almost becomes condescending, because you never receive that call from GO Technical Support. I wonder how they sleep at night?
BEWARE the NO MONEY back scam after 3 days! Everything is fine at first, but should you encounter any connectivity issues DO NOT expect to see ANY technical support from ATHEEB GO.
In any other country, this kind of behaviour would be looked upon as fraud and there are Government agencies to monitor and ensure consumers get what they paid for. Unfortunately it is a sad fact of life that many consumers here in Saudi Arabia take getting ripped off and people stealing their hard earned money as going with the territory.
I take comfort in the fact, that although I, and many others, have kissed our hard earned money goodbye, that many of ATHEEB GO's lying staff will have lost their jobs next year due to a dwindling customer base as the word gets around. And believe me, these days, WORD GETS AROUND.

One of the WORST services I encountered. I confirm every single word of that post, and yes, they are rippers, true ripps and their customer support just sucks.
I bought the '2mbps' unlimited package, and after 3 days just downloading at night(between 1AM to 5AM), I got slammed with the fair policy and they limited my internet connection to 10 kB/s to the rest of the month. This was the most horrible thing ever happened me with an ISP. Imagine a 1MB would take 10 minutes download and probably disconnection and lost of data... It was horrible.
If you are going to subscribe for Go, please for the love of god, don't. There are many who are better than them. Even if all the huminity came to 1 ISP, they wont chose GO even if it was the only one.
And I'm pretty pissed off and feel like I'm idioticly scammed because I bought the 3 months. ASAP this package ends, I'm going for Mobily.

I've my experience with Go, they are excellent. I never had a problem.
I purchased their device upon launching for the 1st time online. Device arrive to me by DHL with 3 days gaurantee. I called them next day there are no signal inside my house. So they replaced the indoor device with outdoor device (installed on roof of building). Technician came for that installation. Since that day I've enjoying my 1MB downloading with go.com.sa - No issues.
Only problem you might face is that they'll reduce your speed incase you are exteremely heavy downloader or user based on their "fair usage policy". as you might disturb other customer's downloading speed. Hay but don't worry keep downloading on off peak time and everything is okay.
Yes, its true, they ll reduce the speed to 100kpbs and download speed is less 10kpbs. Cant browse a site, taking too long to load a page, they are cheating .. Go is having worst service,
even We know STC DSL is not good, but STC DSL is far better than GO.. but STC wireless is working fine
I am one of the victims. Till the middle 0f February 2010, the speed was ok. The trouble started in in the end of February. The speed dropped to 50% and then to 25%. Imagine a download speed of 14 KBps for the subscribed speed of 64 KBps. Their customer service is lousy. With worse than school boy English, the customer care representative is trying to convince me that there is no drop in speed. If it is India, We can haul them in a consumer court. I do not know what to do here.
I confirm every single word I had the same experience with GO they have the lousiest customer support and the most terrible after sales service ever. I will send official complain to CITC

I joined this company when I went to Saudi Arabia for a visit. I was surprised when they ask me for money up front for 3 months of service and for the cost of their modem. It costed me approximately $350 in USD. It is expansive and they do not tell you that you can not cancel at any time.
Since day 2 I started to have problems with the network. I kept calling their customer service line to complain. But their customer service team provides the worst customer service experience. They would promise me to fix my problem but days pass by without any attention from them. I went personally to their head office wrote a complain letter and still no one cares. It does not feel like a real company. It looks like a scam to me. I would never renew with them. I would advise you not to deal with them unless if you would like to loss your money for nothing.

I subscribed for one year contract. the speed was OK for 3 months. since last one month my speed dropped to 10 kb. I registered few complaints but no response from their side. I visited their office in hafuf. they first told me they are upgrading. Then I received a message that upgrade is complete and speed will improve. For me the speed remained the same. They are neither ready to provide a logical answer nor assure a refund. this is a frustration situation.
Last month Go fiber connection installed at my home, since one month past, out of 30 days only 15 days i have used and other remains out of order .I have complained more then 100 times on his given customers service No but no response no body attend the phone or if some one attend they will ask you our team will resolvoe this issue within 72 hours but still no techanicaln came to attend the complanints.

They are frauds. I took a fiber optic connection through online. They took the money, they neither provide service nor return the money.. No 1 Harami's..last 3 months they are saying they are working on the complaint..please don't deal with them..

I had similar issues with this ripoff company called Etihad Atheeb Telecom or Go.. They apply a damn "FAIR USAGE POLICY" and I had my download speed limited to 12kBps... I hope this company and their policy makers ROT IN HELL! GO SUCKS!

They steal, they cheat and they lie!
I have subscribed for the 2MB unlimited package for 3 months, I have paid for the subscription up-front which cost a lot in hope that I'll get a 200 kB/s download speed and being HAPPY about it.
The first 2 days my ping on gaming servers were between 400-500ms which horribly sucked. I called their Customer Service, "We are undergoing some upgrades to our network in Riyadh" they told me.
I have waited a WEEK until I got barely 70 kB/s... After I downloaded a movie that's about 4GB and another game that's about 2GB, my internet became pathetically slow, about 10 kB/s most of the time, after calling them numerous times, all they gave me are stupid answers "Please restart the router", after the 7th call, the Customer Service told me that I'm being limited due to downloading much.
Son, I downloaded only 6GB on the 2MB UNLIMITED package, the "much" you're talking about is 250GB... 100GB... but tellin' me 6GB is much on the 2MB UNLIMITED package? What the hell kind of service is that?
I mean, I obviously paid my $500 for UNLIMTED 2mbps connection why do I get limited if I bought the UNLIMTED one? What's the value of "UNLIMITED" to them?
If they can't serve their customers with their poor customer service who obviously don't know what he's talking about, and their poor internet connections, I really argue they need to step out from the market.

I have subscribed for the 1MB unlimited package, in the terms and condition it was written fair usage policy, After downloading movies and old TV serials, i was slammed with fair usage policy and my speed is reduced to 256 !
After complaining them over and over they said it will be back to 1MB with start of another month, Its 1st already but sill speed is stuck to 256 WTF !
How they can sell 1MB unlimited with the option that they can reduce it to 256 when u use to consume what u are paying them for ?
Its like you electricity is been cut off because you are paying bill but ur using it a lot, F*CK GO, GO should go out of business.
