I purchased a dripless shaft seal from Deep Blue Yacht Supply (dealt with Mike Heller) in December 2010 and my boat went into drydock August 2011. While in drydock the mechanic advised that the length of the dripless seal was too long and when I contacted Deep Blue Yacht Mike said that they only sell one dripless seal length for a 1" shaft and I was out of luck with exchanging it or a refund. Mike said that since I purchased the seal 8 months ago he would not help me even though I never used the seal and it was still in its original box. Since the seal is no use to me I offered Mike to charge me a restocking fee... he again said no. I consider this to be poor service on Deep Blue Yacht Supply's side and I will not purchase anything from them again. Beware of dealing with Deep Blue Yacht Supply.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
HUGE fan of Deep Blue Yacht Supply. Have spent over $5k there on various parts over the years, and every single time has been nothing but perfect. The shafts were top notch, the DQX wheels were perfect, duramax bearings were fine, etc.
Been buying all my wheels and seals from deep blue for the past 5 years, they are the best in the business. Best prices and service.

Mike sold me the wrong prop for my boat. He would not honor his return policy "Once an Outboard Propeller is used in the water, the propeller is no longer returnable for credit or exchange, unless the propeller was incorrectly sized by Deep Blue Yacht Supply, Inc representative based on accurate information in regards to engine and boat use". Go back to the recorded phone call Mike!
I just purchased some shaft seals, zincs, and bearings for my boat. I did read this review prior to purchase and was a little concerned. Luckily I was able to speak with Mike on the phone during my purchase and he advised their return process. Once I realized you were asking to return something after 8-months, this review is worthless. I received all of my items within 3-days and very happy that I chose to order from Deep Blue, their service, selection and price just can't be beat. I will be a lifelong customer. Capt.
