Damelin Correspondence College / extremely poor service delivery

My daughter, Megan Muller, student no 423247 enrolled for a travel and tourism course February 2015. It took 4 - 5 months for her to get her books. By that time is was too late to do anything for 2015. She has been trying to register on student portal since the beginning of 2016. Nothing works. The call centre is hopeless. You hold on for hours and when it eventually goes through they cancel the call. They take 2.5 weeks to answer an e-mail. We are now at end February and she still has no clue what she must do. An e-mail I sent on 20 Jan is still not replied to. I have requested cancellation and refund now but the e-mails I get send tells me absolutely nothing. If I read all the complaints on Hello Peter is seems that there is a huge problem there. I cannot stop the monthly payments as I am worried that we will get blacklisted. My daughter has wasted a year of her life and about R13000.00 so far.
