BEWARE...BEWARE...BEWARE…..SCAMMMERS!!! You are forewarned this company has terrible customer service. My son purchased an Eddie Giacomin New York Rangers 1972 CCM jersey for me as a Christmas gift. After receiving the jersey and realizing the size wasn’t right we initially inquired about an exchange. Since they never answer the phone number listed on their website or return messages left on the answering machine all communications are done by e-mail. Their delayed and cold response to the exchange inquires started making us feel uneasy about the process so we then requested to only return the jersey for a refund. After repeated request on their return process we were instructed to ship it to a Montreal address and would also be responsible to pay a Canadian customs tax of 18% plus shipping fees which we fully agreed to do.
We shipped the jersey with postal tracking and they tried to deliver it unsuccessfully 3 times to the address they provide. Each time the postal service left a notice informing them of how they could pick up the package. All the while we were emailing them to find out what the problem was with them getting the package. After receiving no response from the company we contacted Canadian postal authorities who informed us that the package was going to be sent back since it couldn’t be delivered without a signature and no one was responding to the notices left at the address.
At this point we opened a dispute case with the credit card company. The jersey eventually did come back. As we conferred with the credit card company over the next few weeks we finally received an e-mail from the company stating that we needed to ship the jersey this time to a New York address within 7 days or there would legal repercussions. With the credit card company urging we complied and shipped the jersey back. They received and signed for the jersey a few days later but never answered any more of our e-mails or issued any credit back to the account.
This whole process started in the beginning of January and it’s now the middle of April and we finally received confirmation back from the credit card company that as per their investigation of our dispute which was ruled in our favor we were being issued a full refund. We didn’t actually get a full refund since we have to minus the shipping cost of about $40 for both times.
