Chrysler Capital scam and fraud!

I have been hounded by Chrysler Financial collections even with a payment only 11 days late. I get repeated phone calls daily sometimes 6-8 on my cell phone costing cell usage. The people calling are very rude and demanding even after I told the supervisor I am behind about a month. If you want to pick up the car you are welcome. Instead I get daily 6-8 phone calls of demands for paymnet phone pays, unacceptable I am not paying, short of causing me a mental breakdown and or heart attack and or stroke. I am tired. I can not ration with these people. My cell phone records prove their calls. I have tried to return the calls and I get no response. These people need to be stopped. I filed a complaint with the ftc and ready to file another. I am just running behind. At one point I left the car at the dealer cause I couldn't take it anymore. Even on their own mistake I was being called. I picked the car up made a payment and let Chrysler Financial know I will be running a month behind. My friend listened on speaker phone friday night and was unable to understand why when I stated then pick the car up. I as of Friday was late by 14 days. This is every month not a one time thing. My cell phone goes off about every 2 hours. I can't take anymore. I am trying to save my credit by paying at all. I really would much rather leave the car with the dealer. Even when I set the payment a few days or two weeks late on line I am still called asking for my payment and I ask don't you look at online status before you call? I can't take much more. I even mentioned I have been behind with other companies a month and only received a courtesy to remind me. These people don't give courtesy calls they give demanding, frightening, intimidating phone calls. This is wrong. Something legally needs to be done about Chrysler Financial debt collection procedures.

How can you join a class action suit against Chrysler Capital. They harrass to no end and very rude. They take advantage of the elderly, disabled, and low income. Extremely sorry outfit and would not recommend anyone to do business with them. They will reposess your vehicle and then harrass you and years later attempt to sue you using County Courts as an instrument for their harrassment. They need to be sued as well as investigated by State Attorney Generals. If a class action suit has already been filed against them please let me know if and how I could join.

If anyone starts a class action suit count me in. The day after you dont make your payment the phone rings off the wall. And the the threats start. if you dont call by a certqain time. GOTCHA... I belive the law is 30 days to repo. And then they play games like returning payments for what reason who knows. Then you are 30 days late and bye bye credit fico scores. if you return one of their calls all you get is a recording. What happened to Humans. I guess we are in the JETSON era. All Robots with no heart.

leased a new jeep through chrysler last year. misfortunate enough to get ran over a few months back. life ruined. out of work, in hospital for months, multiple surgeries, probably no chance of returning to a normal functioning life. fell behind on jeep payment when in hospital. continuous calls everyday and night from chrysler. don't care about my condition or story, just want their money. ### company, ### product, extremely rude employees. ### chrysler! i hope their quarterly earnings continue to plummet until they have to go into bankruptcy. don't deal with this company, do yourself a favor and stay away.

FOR ALL THOSE THAT HAVE A CAR LOAN WITH CHRYLSER FINANICAL. DID YOU KNOW THAT MAKING A PAYMENT ON THEIR WEBSITE (FREE) IS A "PRIVILEGE" FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS? AFTER LOSING A JOB 4 YEARS AGO AND STRUGGLING TO MAKE THE PAYMENT EACH MONTH WITH UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS ~ THEY INFORM ME THAT BECAUSE I HAD A COUPLE OF RETURN ITEMS, I AM NO LONGER PRIVILEDGED TO MAKE PAYMENTS DIRECTLY ON THE WEBSITE. UNDERSTANDING THE HISTORY, THE UNCERTAINTY OF RECEIVING UNEMPLOYMENT CHECKS AND FINDING EMPLOYMENT, THEY CONSIDER MAKING A PAYMENT A "PRIVILEDGE"? I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CHRYSLER EVER AGAIN WHETHER IT BE BUYING A CAR OR FINANCING. FINALLY FINDING A A FULL TIME PERMANENT JOB AND TRYING TO SET UP AUTO PAY, THEY REFUSE BECAUSE WE LOST THE "PRIVILEDGE" WITH THE RETURN ITEMS 4 YEARS AGO. YET, THEY HAVE NOT PROBLEM CALLING ME OVER 10 TIMES A DAY IF I AM DELAYED IN THE PAYMENT. WHERE IS THE LOGIC IN THIS. I WILL SUBMIT A COMPLAINT TO THE STATE IN WHICH I LIVE AND WHERE THEY DO BUSINESS. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE ENDURED THEIR TERRIBLE COLLECTION PRACTICES AND EVEN THEIR INABILITY TO ACCEPT PAYMENT AND MAKE YOU GO OUT TO WESTERN UNION AND PAY MORE MONEY, PLEASE JOIN ME AND WRITE TO WHOM EVER YOU CAN. WE DID NOT BAIL CHRYSLER FINANCIAL OUT, BUT WE DID BAIL OUT THE COMPANY THAT KEEPS THEM IN BUSINESS. I DO NOT RECALL ANYONE ASKING ME IF I WOULD OFFER THEM THE "PRIVILEDGE" OF THAT BAIL OUT TO KEEP THEIR JOBS AND BUSINESS OPEN.

So...I have been paying on a Dodge I bought new in 2007. Last payment is estimated Feb, 2012. After talking with the finance associate at Allen Samuels in North Ft. Worth, and asking specifically about paying extra on the car at time of sale, it was told to me more than once that any dollar over the monthly payment would automatically go to the principle. I have been paying between 100 to 200 dollars extra every month, give or take 10 payments since buying the car. The payoff at this time is 4, 900.00. If you divide this by my car payment due each month, I will only have paid the car off early by about 3 months. I just recently put pen to paper to figure out when I would have this paid off (thinking it should be in a few months from now) and was floored at what I found. After talking with customer service reps (yes, from India I presume by the accent) the first time after I explained my strategy to getting the car paid off early AND at a lower amount, I was eventually told that yes, all my extra payments would be put toward the principle. I looked back on my online account and saw that they only "curtailed" the payment I had made in Dec, 2010. I specifically asked the rep twice if this was retroactive from the very first payment I made, or going forward as of the next payment. He said this was retro from first payment. Still waiting on the payment history to be sent to me as promised. Called back and talked to the supervisor and was told that yes, this was true. I asked the guy how this was accurate and repeated all the above info and how my payoff had gone up since the first phone call to rep, as well as why my payment had not stayed the same with due date each month vs. my payment amount always lowered with a due date about 2-3 months ahead, depending on how much I had paid the following month. He said the former was because interest was charged daily. He said the latter was to ensure Chrysler customers would always be ahead, thus resulting in a good FICO score by making payments on time. I corrected him on this stating that it did not matter the AMOUNT of payment but whether the payment was in on time. I kept repeating the inconsistencies to what he was saying but he kept feeding me his rational, or rather irrational jargon about how I was paying the car off early at a lower rate. I am to have the payment history faxed to me by the rep and he assured me I would understand after looking at it. I told him I would look at it but I was not buying what he was saying. There is a lot of extra money paid toward...nothing, really except mildly getting the car payed off early. I also let him know I would have made more money putting that into a savings account and making about 10 cents a year off of that. What an awful investment on this car!
I have been told by our local 'Watchdog' to find out who regulates Chrysler Financial and go from there. They are selling out by the end of 2011 and it appears that GMAC will take over the financial part.
Does anybody else have any ideas or am I way out of the ballpark?

I was involved in a purchase of a 1999 Dodge Ram. The dealer misrepres3ented the true facts and circumstances to Chrysler of the contract and applications of both parties, instead the dealer sold the truck in truth to the supposedly "co-signer". The truck was never rightfully titled to the rightful applicant and true purchaser. The down payment cash of 4000.oo was made by the true purchaser not the co-signer. And the title was never, included with the real purchasers name as two parties co-signer and purchaser, the payments were made timely by the true purchaser until Chrysler financial found out it was to late.

For anyone dealing with Chrysler Financial on a car loan...do not conduct business with their agents by phone. They lie, insult, harass, and any other intimidation technique to get money form us, and do not stand behind their words.

First, everyone needs to know the true facts about Chrysler Financial and that they are linked to Chrysler, regardless of what they say. Bottom line is the name "CHRYSLER" is trade marked, so no one can use it without Chrysler's permission, and yes they get financial compensation for that. So let see, the citizens of the US, via our government, gave Chrysler Financial how many Billons, rather than letting them go bankrupt, only to have Chrysler Financial us every unethical and unprofessional technique to collect money on the outstanding loans. I've been lied to, insulted, threaten, and had family members threatened. Things escallated to the point that I refuse to discuss the matter with any Chrysler Financial Agent by phone. Equally, Chrysler Financial refuses to put anything in writing via email, for fear of their unethical and unprofessional business methods resulting in a lawsuit.

Since January of 2010, I have requested to have payments (3) during a 5 month period deferred to the end of the loan. Despite the fact they agreed to this in January prior to me making a double payment in January, they renigged on it ever since. Over a two year period, I made 24 payments of $750 totalling $18000 on a $35, 000 loan and they claim that less than $7000 has been applied to the principal. I have requested an audit of the account to show a complete breakdown, but they refuse to provide this to me in writing also.

To anyone else dealing with Chrysler Financial via phone..."STOP!" Demand that anything effecting your account be put in writing and emailed to you for immediate review prior to making any further payments.

Our payments, enable the banks and finance companies to flurish. Together, if we refuse to pay, they will have no other option but to start operating ethically, or cease to exist.

Thank you,

George Rodgers

Today we were calling in to make a payment over the phone on our vehicle. We are self employed and had the bad fortune of a 5500 dollar check from a client bouncing on us. This made us 2 months current due. We were trying to give them $1100.00 for payment. The lady who answered in collections would not take our payment! She proceeded to say we havent been paying on the vehicle. I proceeded to ask her what our origional loan was for answer 65, 000. Our current we owe is 27K. The vehicle is almost 3 years old. Yeah I think we have been paying something! Then I proceeded to tell her that is why we were calling to make payment she refused to take our payment! she kept telling us how we owed money yet she would not take our payment for the amount we owed! What the hell is wrong with this company!

I have always made my payments on time since 2007. I even pay more than the min. I am unemployed now and wanted an extension cause I am having a financial bad month. They want you to pay the interest then secure the next payment..which is all fine until they put $15 for processing fees for both transactions when I can pay it for free on my billpay like I always do. I can't afford $30..I am unemployed! Then they want you to fax a signed paper..I don't have a fax machine. They were rude and I told them I would never buy another Chrysler again! I can't wait to get this car paid off..so I won't have to deal with this rude, unconcerned and unprofessional company again!

Chrysler Financial is the rudest, most harassing comapny I have ever dealt with. 35 vehicles purchased in 15 years and I'm late 3 days and get phone calls and if you can't pay that day with a phone check for an additional $15.00 they hang up on you. I own 3 Chrysler vehicles now and they will be the last I own.

Class action lawsuit is coming Chrysler Financials way.

Chrysler Capital fraud and cheating!

We purchased 3 vehicles over a period of time with Chrysler and subsequentally had finance agreements on the 3 vehicles we paid all of them on time with online payments. In December we experienced a no money situation with our businesses having a dramatic slowdown, probably due to the current economic situation in the USA. We contacted Chrysler Financial to explain our situation (we realize our full commitment) and asked if on this occasion they could help. At this point the lady in question explained she was in a call center in India (we were astonished hard time in the USA yet work farmed out in call centers in India!).

However we explained our situation, and she said the only thing she could do was to take interest only payments and place the rest of the capital repayments to the end of the agreements with a $7.50 fee per vehicle to do this we agreed because that was the only option, we took the ladies name and extension number and she said if we had any problems to call her back.

Then the nightmare began we received repossession notices, call after call from Daimler Chrysler Financial to say our payments were behind. we explained what we had done each person promised to remove the adverse history it did not happen. We called the lady back in what we thought was back to India ask for her extension (please note the lady was American) to be met with a person saying they were in Kansas! and they did not know the extension.

We are at our wits end when people fall on hard times the mark of a good company is on how well they perform, I appeal to all you good American people do not buy a car for Chrysler Jeep Dodge, because if you take on a commitment for 5 years you cannot afford to run into any problems.

If anyone out there has experienced the same problems please can you let me know if you have found a resolve.

I purchased a semi through Daimler finance and later voluntarily returned it to the dealership where I bought it.
I never heard anything from Daimler for several years so I assumed they sold it for the remaining amount.
Almost 5 years later a notation shows up on my credit report claiming I owe them over $9000.
Repeated telephone conversations with both Daimler and one of the flunkie companies they hired to collect this have resulted in the consistent refusal to produce ANY documentation whatsoever showing that ANY money is owed other than "statements" printed out on their own computer.
I have been told on different " documents" that they sent me that the truck sold for two different amounts, that no payments were ever received on the truck despite a record ON A DOCUMENT THEY SENT ME that they recorded at least one payment.
I have credit reports where THEY REPORTED OVER $5800 in payments but Daimler ignored that.
The matter still soils my credit report to this day because Daimler Chrysler seeks to defraud their customers out of thousands of dollars THEY KNOW( or should know if they checked their own records) they don't owe

Same here. Tried to call for our year end balance information for 2008, got a recording that said you have to call their "International Number" for a charge of $4.99. What total CRAP. You have to PAY to get your OWN information about your OWN account? Isn't there some FTC law that states these companies have to provide account information FREE of charge? Now awaiting on a response back from an email that I'll probably never get. IF anyone knows how to contact these low lifes by phone, please provide a working number, with a REAL person on the other end, that speaks English and does not read from a script.

I am so sick and tired of big companies trying to slam it to the little guy, Mr. Consumer, who keeps them in business. By moving their call centers to India, or Timbucktoo, they are only helping to bring our economy from bad to worse. Nice going D.C., way to treat your loyal customers. You get an F- in my book.

I've had problems logging into my account and they told me that I would have to pay by phone which would cost about $10. I never missed a payment but it seems they are trying to swindle our hard earn dollars. It seems to be happening randomly for this has happened to a few of my friends as well. Imagine snatching $10 bucks from hundreds of thousands customers a month. Not buying anything from them again.

I'll stick to the Japanese Cars. CYA Chrysler!

Chrysler Capital fraudulent collection!

Fraudulent collections, from Chrysler's collection department. The rep stated that i did not make payment so i MUST go to West Union to pay NOW. The rep was very rude. He said if he doesn't get the payment he was going to repo my truck. I told him they have my payment its bend mailed one weak before its due. Rep said they do not have the check. I told him do not cash my check. Then i was told to pay a certain amount in order to keep the truck. Thats when i went to West Union and made payment. REP got the cash and deposit my check that he said he never had. It goes on for three more months they were going to repo my truck. Last payment was due on 12-10-07 its paid up to date and more... 11-26-07 they repo my truck.

Am having a terrible experience with Chrysler financial too..They are rude, they don't want to listen to your situation and just want to cut you off all the time and threatening you...unwilling to give me my accurate balance.. I was running behind on two payments, due to medical conditions...my husband is the account holder...he is a handyman and in the remodelling business and gets paid everytime he finishes a project..I explained that to Chrysler financial and we always caught up with pur payment within three months...it's hard for us to save with me no able to work with 3 kids...I had to surgeries in the last 7 months...a c-section and another surgery just last april..my baby was born with heart problems and was in NICU when he was born...he is on treatment..since my husband is self employed, my son's and my health is not to0 good, we had lots of medical bills since we did not have insurance...
the worst is that the town & country(used) we bought just in november 2006, has transmission problem since december 2007...just a year after we bought it..one window on the drivers side fell aprt..the car is basically a junk and we still have to pay the $2626 0n it...we bought it for $8000...Crysler loan us $6000 I explained our situation to Chrysler financial before, but they keep harrassing us with 100's of phone calls, even at 10 p.m. and early mornings and sundays...today I called to make 2 payments..leaving me only one month behind...they told me that the whole balance was due and that interest would be accrued everyday..when I asked about the rate..she wouldn't tell and told me that it would vary, menaing they can increase it as much as they want..they have already charged me $300 intereste for the 3 late payments..when I initially called an 800, they told me there was no balance in my account..I was given 3 different 800's before I endced at the right dept! I was shocked when they told me that the whole balance was due or else they would pick the car..that's the only one I have to drive my baby son for medical checks! they wouldn't listen and told me that my a/c was charged off and I needed to pay the who amount or make monthly payment of $500...my original monthly payment is $263 and I had until december to pay...they are so rude, not compassionate employees..just wanting to earn their commission, disregarding your situation...it's horrible!

It has caused me a lot of stress...in august last year they even called me, while I was in the hospital, just after I had a c-section and my baby was on NICU...they called me on my cell-phone! I told them I was in the hospitall, they would still harrass me!

Chrysler Capital poor service!

I am a senior person and Chrysler is giving me a lot of trouble. For the past two years I have been getting statements from Chrysler trying to collect from me property tax on a lease vehicle. I have communicated with four different people but no one has made a correction on their records. I have sent an Affidavit twice and included a copy of the Texas Property Tax Code 2006, Edition, Section 11.252 Motor Vehicle Leased for Personal Use. It states that If I don't use the vehicle for monetary gain, I don't have to pay tax on it.

I am afraid that in a few months, when I turn my vehicle in, they are going to demand the tax.

Beware people!

THEY'VE SCREWED ME MAJOR!
Customer of CF for over 9 years, in Dec. of '05 changed changed from a '03 to '05 Grand Jeep Limited. The dealership and CF 5 contracts later got the lease program correct. Meanwhile CF was charging me for not paying Dec and Jan payments on the 'o3. Then they applied my Jan payment for the '05 to the '03 (which I left at the dealership back in Dec.). CF has charged me every m month for being a late on payment (applying vurrent month to prior month). It was last summer when they finally said the '03 lease was closed so there's no record if my Jan. payment for new '05 went their. WHAT!? CF said they would work on the problem and get back with me. DID NOT! I made every payment on time until this past Jan. I had bad financial hardship via identity theft and a BAD FLorida property (as with a lot of people). They gave me ONE call, some guy claiming to be legal department. He left me a number to call him before 3P next day. I tried and tried leaving messages on a generic vm. That was a Friday. On Sunday night, well Monday morning 3AM repo man came and took my jeep! leaving me with NO transportation and NO person who will talk to me at CF.

I worked for Dailmer Chrysler's marketing agency out of their SE regional office. I was an excellent customer!

This CAN NOT continue from these lenders!

Sandy
