contract number [protected] had a door fitted thursday it is now friday afternoonand a few hours of winter sun and we can not close the door, can not get on with lever locking would prefer yale type lock if possible, i whent to the shop this morning closed the door did not lock it when i came back i was locked out is this the norm, otherwise lofe the door

I need two tiny screws for an Anglian Bifold door that was removed. I contacted them but was refused helpmas ai was not the original gina's I where of the door even though the client whose door was removed is. I was advised to find outside suppliers but t have got nowhere with this. The doors should still be under warranty but Anglian are not helping.

Anglian Contract number [protected] fitting date Aug 15th.
Wrong threshold fitted to door ordered Anthracite grey white one fitted.
Also had further problem, questioned illustration document as I wanted to pay cash.
Anglian had chosen 60mth payment plan without my consent. Had person visit next day and stated would reorder a new door frame and threshold. This would be refitted in 2 weeks. Chased up after 2 weeks as no date given for refit. Informed replacement frame had been rejected and new one ordered. Chased again after further 2weeks and told should be next week. Chased again but used the Customer Care number [protected]. Customer Care manager at Nottingham could find no trace of order.Order placed and we now have refit date of 3rd October.
Only know the finance man as Des the person that checked and stated would reorder was Russell Best. These were obviously in collusion with one another and junior office staff. We were lied to and misled.
This is not the way to run a nationally recognised company!.
Would never use again and would not recommend.
If only you could charge for the upset and anxiety, the time spent phoning, time spent on emails but really I wish I had gone elsewhere.

A window lock broke, so wanted to purchase a new one and fit it. However was by Angliand Customer service that they did not have a price list for the lock nor did they have a technical department to tell me how to remove the lock. They did offer an engineer visit at £107 to identify problem and then a follow up visit at extra cost to fit the lock, but the could not put me in contact with an engineer as apparantly all their numbers are private.

So a broken window lock will end up costing as much as a new window!

What pathetic and frustrating customer service - in fact it hardly seems possible that they could have such little interest in supporting customers

Had to call in surveyor after being shocked by the state of my new windows.
Surveyors report says worst instalation hes seen 3 windows wrong size with inch haps of foam filler.
other 2 stuck out the house and damp course.
all need to be removed as causing damage to house.
when phoning up and complaining and refusing to let the fitters back in to cover the mess with 3 inch trim got threatened with £400 charge and no form of apology or sympathy for the mess.
now being taken to court for refusing to pay for windows not fit for purpose and have been stuck with the mess and damage for 7 months waiting for them to do so!

This Anglian Windows Limited took money and ran away, did not finish their work and duty. They closed the office and lost contact, the front door only has their landlord's 3 days’ notice for warning their rents delayed. They use fake license to do the fraud!

I Purchased two windows and one door from Anglian Windows, when the windows were installed I found they are not the same type as their sales man shown to me. I asked the window fitter and was told that they have two product range and the one they made and and installed for me is the cheaper one and has to be required specifically by the customer. After carefully checked my contract it seem that indeed this is what the contract said in a small print way. But the sales man never explain to me or show me this type of product. I feel so gutted and cheated by them. They use such a disgracefull way to cheat people like me. They show you one thing and sell you a completly differnt thing in inferior quality without letting you aware of. As I only paid them the 10% deposit and not willing to pay the remainning balance before they can put it right for me, they threaten to take me to court. What should I do? I am sure if I pay them the balance they will take the money and forget all about it. Even I haven't paid them they are not willing to deal my problem and insited that I signed the contract. I don't want them to get away with what they did but am afraid the process and cost of the legal action. Any way, to have a peace of mind Avoid this company at all cost. I would never recomand Anglian even to my worst enemies.

I wish I had NEVER EVER heard of Anglian Windows. I ordered windows from them because I thought they had a good product - I didn’t consider the bullying and coercive tactics of their salesmen and managers. I was duped into taking out finance that I neither needed nor wanted, and now they refuse to do anything about a problem with a bow window - saying the problem had been there before, which it hadn’t. I still cannot believe all the worry and hassle I’ve had to endure just because I wanted three new windows & a new door. I know that the fitters might get "peanuts" (perhaps that's why some of them are cowboys) but that’s not the fault of the customer. Anglian prices are high, the discounts they offer bring the price down to what is reasonable. Too many Chiefs & Salesmen and not enough Indians is the problem at Anglian, along with a total disrespect of customer integrity. You answer back and they’ll try and bully you into submission one way or another. I've just been forced to demand that the Nottingham Anglian installation Manager leave my house as I felt unable to stand up to his bullying. I’m now off to see my solicitor.
