I was behind my mortgage payments and wanted to get a mortgage company with lower rates. I got a letter in the mai. with a code to call for lowering mortgage. I called and had 3 interviews with 3 different people over the phone, first was the case manager, second underwriter and third I dont recall, I cleared all the 3 interviews and was asked to send 3 payments to finalize my mortgage payments paid through USPS priority, each payment was 1,914.20. After receiving 3 months payments they never answered my calls. I am in adesperate situation, I am the only woking member of the family, my husband and daughter and older son has medical issues. I wonder how people can be so cruel and take advantage of people enduring hardship. I want the money back that I borrowed from my relatives so I can get a lower mortgage. Please, if any one has a contact who could help me out of this situation.

I was trying to get help with my mortgage paul carter told me I was getting a home loan modification I sent them 1314.18 in july august september then found out that they never applied it to my mortgage and by the time I found out I am 8000 behind and im going to lose my house unless I come up with the money I was lied to and put off until im being foreclosed on they lied about everything and now will not respond or answer

My husband was contacted by American Home Solutions to have us get into the mortgage modification program because our mortgage had been delinquent for a few months. He was told that American Gome Solutions would help us save our home and that they would get us a lower mortgage monthly payment.

After sending monthly payments to them we were given two options. One was to keep the monthly payments as is and the other to reduce it slightly but with a much higher interest rate.

When my husband called our mortgage company to tell them the option we had chosen, we found out that we were a little over seven thousand dollars in areeas.

So now our situation is worse than before. We would have been better off paying our mortgage company that money that was sent to American Home Solutions.

We would like to have that money we paid to American Home Solutions refunded to us since they did not keep up to what they said they would have done. We found out that we did not qualify for their hardship program.

AHS sales person came to my home for at least 1 month every other week selling a water system. I don't know how this company does it but sales person manipulated me and my wife to signing a sales slip not home improvement contract which later i call AHS and they said that all contracts are executed on HIC. The strategy is that the sales person use on me and my wife was prior to singing contract, i was asking a lot of questions about certain important things. All the questions i asked, sales person answer no to all my questions but if sales person would of answer yes to only one i would had not sign sales slip. At that point sales person seen that i was hesitating to sign, so sales person strategy was that if i sign the sales slip that sales person would qualified me in special government program which it would be paid by the government. That closed the deal and by signing the sales slip was the biggest mistake in my entrie life. The APR from finance company was at 18% and sales person did not inform me of any cancellation process and/or any consumer purchasing rights. The people at this company are not stupid. Supposedly sales person told me that the company (AHS) were helping the minority population to have better water but after all the trouble that i went threw with finance company and AHS, I clearly seen that this is their primary target. I've had open cases with better business bureau, contractor state license board and finance company and all three of them shut me down. Like i said don't know how AHS do it but it seems that AHS does not let you know about their important policies until after you sign sales slip. By then, when there is a problem, it's to late you are very much helpless and AHS deprives you of all your rights. So over all beware, if a sales person comes to your home and they represent AHS close the door or tell them to piss off because this company will set you up fo failure.
