I also did the same thing but then checked further into the situation and noted that alot of the emails were from women, fictional or real, that were supposedly sending the letters to get the person to become active on the website. Whenever I would do a search for women in my area, I only came up with two at the most, yet all these emails poured in. So if you are a non-paying member in particular of this website, check the email notification of a message you have received. When you click on the email to read it, check the bottom of the box that has the woman's profile name to see if they are really only a representative or not. I am a non-paying member of another site ( that does the same thing. They call their representatives, online ambassadors. Be careful out there. It's a shame that they have to stoop so low and get your hopes up just to make some money.

    Very similar Experience..

Became a memever, got tons of emails that I couls not read because I was not a member.. As soon as I paid, and and responded to the emails, I never heard back from any of them... And they are never on line...

I went from my profile getting several hits a night to getting zero for the first week after I paid!

    Major Scam!!!

I suspected as much myself.... luckily I saved my money by being both suspicious and smart enough to scout ahead. Thanks for posting this and making it available to other potential victims.

Same experience. When I got tens of seductive emails I noticed that they are so overwhelmingly artificial. So I added this to my profile: "If somebody likes to talk please send me some contact information because I don't know how to response!"

Anyways, this is how the world works. We should be careful about our packet!

After posting my profile on AmateurMatch I started receiving emails notifications of local women in my area. In a few months it added up to over a hundred beautiful women within 10 miles of my zip code. I figured if I sign up for a 3 day trial subscription, I should be able to connect to at least two of the women. I signed for the trial and began emailing everyone in my inbox. I spent over 4 hours writing to over 150 women in my area. The next day There was not even one reply. Also the daily emails I received when I was a non-paying member stopped. I tried to Instant Message them only to find out that when I clicked on their profile through the messenger it listed their location being in different states on the other side of the country. Not a single one was in my state.
I immediately called customer service and complained that the site was a fraud because I received hundreds of emails of women in my town and after I paid to write to them, I find out that not one of then was even in my state. I want my money refunded or I will contact authorities to close the site down immediately. The representative agreed to return my refund. I asked if he heard this complaint before. He told me I was the second complaint tonight. His name is Robert #5349 I called my local attorney and he recommenced me to contact the Attorney General Consumer Fraud Department.
Everyone please, if you experienced anything similar to this report it to the Attorney General Consumer Fraud Department
Lets close these fraud sites down and save a lot of us from this all this grief. Thank you for reading.

This site is a definite scam, i live is a small town in South Africa, i get mails from all sorts of hot women, even hispaniclatino... goodluck trying to find a latino in my town. The messages are also very generic and vague, they say they liked my profile but none of them actually posted anythig relevant to my profile. I also noticed a major culture difference between these women and the local women, which made me suspect that their profiles are fake.

I have had the same experience with Their goal is to sell memberships, porno videos and webcam pornos. They are clearly a scam from the gitgo folks. I had two friends join as free members with different ages/profiles. They got the same 'word-for-word' responses from the same 4 women. STEER CLEAR of this scam, fellas!

Same thing happened to me although I called and received a refund and as soon as I cancelled I started receiving numerous emails daily again. In my profile I even posted my email address and stated that they needed to contact me thru this email because the site is not working. Either every woman on this site is stupid or the site is a fraud because not a single woman has contacted me thru this email but I have dozens of emails on the site.

The site is a scam! I have pages and pages of beautiful women emailing me all the time, they say they are close to me but their location is often hundreds of miles away. I did the same thing as others did, I posted contact info and requested the same, and not one woman either tried to contact me or left any contact info of their own. Liars every one! They aren't getting a dime out of me!

That's the scam business model that many Personals-based websites share...including AmateurMatch:

The profiles are pre-formulated, generic, and FAKE. They are sent out every couple of days from an automated mailer to all new accounts. Do a test: open a profile with a bunch of non-sensical B.S., no Pic, hell even say "[censored] in your description. You're STILL going to get a bunch of attractive women contacting you just begging for your attention.

Of course once you join, they can't continue the dialouge because the contacts were fake and unless their criminal staff wants to sit behind a computer and pretend to be a female, the gig is up. You then begin to see that the website has approx. less than 10% of the actual REAL contacts it advertised, all who are bombarded with communication from the mass of males who far exceed the females.

It's all a scam. Try a legitimate dating service. eHarmony is supposed to be authentic.

amateurmatch is a complete scam. they send all the messages (who knows where the get the woman profiles from) and once you pay, the music stops.
It's probably just a guy in a dorm doing it...
    Just avoid it.

Many major website use scam. I try but i never pay, and i never put my picture. I receive many email who tell me women want talk with me. Why the want talk with me, they cannot see my picture?

Some website have anti-scam system, like who i have put my picture (two day after my picture was validated by an admin), but this is a pay site. Now i use, a free general dating website. If anoyone know a good sex dating website without scam and free, give me the url please.
