Female calls twice a day every day for two weeks. She starts everything: "You are the toughest cookie in the cookie jar to crack...". I have told her six times now that I am not interested in donating to her breast cancer fund raising. At 2:20 pm today (Aug. 9, 2015) I asked her to remain on the line so that I could record her. I even repeated at the same time her opening "cookie" statement above. I told her that according to the FCC that once I tell her to stop calling that it is a $1500 fine per call. I ask for her name (area with AC Services). I stated the time and date her name & company and said that I was ready to make some money so just call back tomorrow. I'm recording all calls & will put the FCC on notice tomorrow morning! She calls from [protected]. Going to start calling her back also.

Here it is 2018 and Im still getting these scam called from AC Services. The FCC is lkikewise a sham, taking the complaints and instead of shutting them down, putting it in their "database" to determine the scale of the corruption. The same goes with the IRS scams, FCC was unhelpful before and is even now more worthless in the last few years..
I am a cancer survivor and it just angers me to see these cons allowed to continue. Don;t write complaints here.. lobby your congressmen for some action by FCC and Consumer Protection Agency.

8:45 here, too. "Stephen, it's harder to reach you than to get my kids to clean their room."

What a despicable con.

This outfit calls me EVERY weeknight at 8:45 PM. I have told them at least eight times to take me off their list. Instead they referred my name and number to a "supervisor" who called me on Saturday morning at 10:10 AM to explain their "profound need" to me, actually asking if I don't "feel bad" about not contributing. She told me she'd been trying to call me during the day, but that I've "been harder for her to reach than it is for [her] to get [her] kids to clean up their rooms." This company is deceptive about who they are and what they want, not to mention pesky and uncooperative beyond belief. Is anyone interested in legal action?

I was getting these calls saying how "hard" it was to contact me. I told the woman I would donate locally to the breast cancer fund but she was adamant about sending me a pledge card, started at $50, then $25, finally said how about $5. I asked how much of the money went to breast cancer research and how much to fund raising. Seems about 15% is for "research" and the 85% is for the soliciters. I told her that was not enough for research, that it should be the other way around and PLEASE take me off your calling list and DO NOT call me back. Haven't heard from her again, this was about 3 weeks ago, the last of July 2015.
