I spent 3 hours on the phone with your hate-filled employees purposefully wasted my time for 3 hours today (11/30/2023) and I was ultimately unable to cancel my health insurance. Your system SUCKS. Your employees are despicable human-beings with absolutely no respect for your customers. Please fire EVERYONE and cancel my insurance. Do you have a game of making life miserable for every other human on this planet. Because after speaking to 13 of your employees I haven't found one person who attempted to help me. The sent me to the wrong place, directly lied to me, and one lady kept pausing a full minute in between my question in a deliberate attempt to waste my time. You are unbelievable. The animals at the zoo would be more helpful.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts / MassHealth Wellsense Care Alliance Health Plan

This week an individual I know was assigned a doctor by Well Sense care alliance as their PCP. After calling the PCP they said they do not take Wellsenss Care Alliance.

I also tried to help this individual find a medical specialist. We went through the five-page list of specialists through Carleon whom they contract with and when we did that, the provider directory was not updated. They do admit this on their site. We spent hours calling people only to find out they had retired or were not taking clients.

This is a really unfortunate situation.

Desired outcome: Call and ensure that the PCP is covered under the Wellsense Masshealth before assigning a PCP to the client and sending it in the mail. .

Commonwealth of Massachusetts / MassHealth masshealth for seniors

I have been waiting over 2 months for Mass Health to process information and documents that I have had to send and then re-send. I also tried to go in person to the office in Worcester, but it did no real good - just could turn in papers Again - this time in person. They stopped paying my Medicare Premium of $135/mo. back in June, so 3 pymts so far. That leaves me only $662/mo. to live on. Repeated calls have done no good. I need someone to help with this, and don't know what I can do. I am completely eligible for the benefits and have always complied with everything.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts / MassHealth health insurance is being canceled on july 4th because they lost my documents

I was sent a notice that MassHealth needed some documents from me; I sent the documents (9) on June 5th well within the time frame I was given. Today, June 26th I received a notice that my health insurance is cancelled on July 4th. After being on the phone for 2 hours this afternoon explaining that these documents were sent, I was told that they only got a couple of them. I stapled and put my member ID on all the documents I sent them; how could they lose some of those documents? After getting little satisfaction on the phone, I took my copies to Staples and had them faxed to MassHealth at a cost of $26.43 to me! I am disabled and have glaucoma and have several doctor and eye doctor appointments coming up in July. If I have no coverage I could lose my eyesight, have another DVT (I'm on Warfarin) because I cannot afford to pay the doctors out of my pocket. I will be calling MassHealth back in two days (that's what they told me to do) to see if they can expedite the fax I sent today. I have had problems with MassHealth since January of this year; they have made more mistakes than I thought it was humanly possible for them to do! My file folder is busting from documents I've received and documents I have sent them. On top of all this they had me on BMC at a cost of over $600/month! I would have to live in my car to afford this; I am on disability! I am so sick of their lack of management of the documents they receive and lack of timing of documents they send out. How in the world can I meet their process deadline before I am without insurance just because they lost the documents I had already sent in?

Commonwealth of Massachusetts / MassHealth masshealth coverage

I received a letter from Mass health on Jan 6th, 2019 which was postmarked Jan 4th and dated Dec 25, 2018. It stated that I did not qualify for Mass health coverage in which I was currently on. I am currently disabled and my status and financial situation have not changed. I received some letters from Mass health connector over the weekend but was never made aware or given notice prior. I called this afternoon, Jan 7th and after a 10 plus minute wait, I talked to someone who said that my Mass health was being canceled on the 8th (tomorrow) and they would transfer me to someone that would help. They transferred me to a line that said I could leave a number and will receive a call back in 2-3 days. Before I could complete putting my number in I was disconnected. I called back and after another 15-minute wait, I talked to someone who said she would look into my case and put me on hold. That call also got disconnected. I called back again and after another lengthy wait talked to someone who has me I believe on hold now. I am not sure if I am still on the line and am afraid to touch the phone. Could someone please help me? I have doctors appointments and health issues and medications that I need.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts / MassHealth Lazy and unorganized workers

I've been sending the same documents about 3 times to get approved for food stamps, and etc. I can see all my paper work that I sent in through their website and when do the phone interview they don't tell you everything you have to do. All I know is that when I call to the 800 number and I get a live person after 30 minutes of waiting. The people that answer the phones for DCF are so dumb and they don't know what the hell they are talking about! I hate the little general answers like I care about other people's problems, I care about ONLY my family! Its been 3 months and they still can't do their JOB right! What a joke!

Commonwealth of Massachusetts / MassHealth DCF FRAUD

DCF is full of Fraud. Steeling children for money. I am PROOF! You stole my children on false allegations and since I won my 2 colored children, they will not return my white child, who is my oldest. They are Biased (Racist) and discriminate on colored, mixed or low-income families. They are claiming that they are there for the children, but what about my children who were neglected in state care and now have Alopecia, PTSD & ADHD? They just drug my child, who they wont return home, just to fraudulently collect benefits through mass health and the government for a disabled child. Mind you he is still being neglected and mentally abused. Now my daughter needs tubes in her ears because her "foster parent" left her suffering from an ear infection for 5 days, til I had the Commissioner call the department and request that she be seen by her pediatrician A/S/A/P! DCF collects donations and also uses out tax money to kidnap our own children. "Help Abused & Neglected Children" catches a lot off peoples eyes, so they assume that they are really helping. They are only helping their pockets. The same as MOST Foster Parents. If I can win my African American Children, why can I not regain custody of my White Child? They believe they have the right to violate our parental & civil rights, BUT THEY DON'T! Even if you do report them to the Governor or Commissioner, they will not even bother to look into it, they always see us as the perpetrators, but yet we are always the victims, and so are OUR CHILDREN!

DCF is an abomination. The office in Malden is loaded with half witted, hostile employees. They are often younf and not parents themselves and have no understanding of family dynamics. They take away kids at an alarming rate cover themselves, lest they be faced with another case like Bella Bond. Maybe if they hired workers who understands family dynamics and how to distinguish identify real threats. It's really seems like DCF creates problems so they can have someone in every household. When they find out the family needs real help they abandon the family. They are a disgrace and the governor really needs to do something about it. I don't know how these people sleep at night. They traumatized far more children than they help.

To whom it may concern, This my second email to your agency. The first time I got calls and interviews on the phone with DCF but here it passed two weeks after those calls and NO FOOD STAMPS no notices in the mail or any results...please recontact them again I been looking for work with no luck. I need food thank you for any help you can do to resolve this since May I have no food !77

Dcf took my daughter 2 years ago and would not give new a chance to get her back... They terminated my rights, made sure they had the same judge and lawyer that heard another case I had before which the lawyer for DCF was biased... And now since I filed for an appeal DCF has asked me to with draw from the appeal in exchange for letters and cards from my 3 year old... Can someone please tell me how I can file something against these people

DCF has been in our life for four years due to abuse towards my son by his father. They have made everything worse, pitting us against each other, failing to give help to his dad who the only time they did anything is call the police because my ex threatened to kill THEIR children. When it has come to my child they REFUSE to help. His dad is an extremely angry man who snaps at anything and is EXTREMELY abusive and they have completely neglected this case. They keep telling my ex they want to close the case and have no worries yet they tell my sons therapist who has made several reports they have concerns about his anger. They should be shut down, they have not even stepped foot in his home for a year, except for once to shut me up. I had enough of them. I do NOT trust them, they do not care about your child and all they do is LIE and TWIST things you say up.

Through research I have found that in order to make a change we must go to the root cause of why our children are taken I have discovered it's because we have no Parental Rights' over our children. I hope you and your children are doing okay. Can you help me, help you, help the next child who is 'kidnapped', the next grieving parent who is crying out for help have the right he or she
needs to up bring our children how we as parents choose and not government agencies.

DCF took my grandchildren while their mother was on vacation there. Their complaint has not one true sentence in it and its been 3 months now. I live in Florida and I am trying to get my grandchildren, DCF said " I don't like Florida DCF" so they are holding the kids in foster care and their mother is stuck there. That state must have money to burn, and wants to use it up. My grandchildren have no business being in that state and absolutely do not belong in Foster care... I believe they are trying to keep my grandchildren and adopt them out for payment. I will never ever go away DCF and I hope someone exposes your criminal behavior on the news...

I am going through same thing... I am trying to get a court ordered paternity and DOR is waiting on the birth cert from DCF and they keep on lying. first they said it was on its way, then they said the husband of the mother wont sign the birth cert now they say they need a SS# its a freaking mess. This is the story i got together with an ex of mine 8 months ago for one night and she disappeared 6 months later she calls me and says shes pregnant and I say well lets figure this out and you have my support. come to find out she was married the whole time and i had no clue of it so now she gives birth to our son and at the time of birth the child is addicted to opiuts which i had no clue that when she disappeared for 6 months she went back to her ex (husband) and was doing drugs. DCF took my son from the hospital and put him in foster care so I have taken it upon myself to get a court ordered DNA which we both took now 8 weeks ago so that i can be put on the birth cert and i can get my son. DCF says "you dont need a lawyer you can do this on your own" seems like they are supporting me all the way "NOT" liars...just trying to prolong this so i get frustrated and give up. Yes i know the mother and her hustband are not fit parents but i have a professional career, make decent money and i am a good father to my daughters. Now, the past 5 months i have been taking lots of time off work to get this straightened out and DCF instructs me to go to the child protection hearing so that they can introduce me as the father. LIE! i get to the court and the first thing out of the DCF laywers mouth was "your honor, if you do not find the parents suitable to raise the children the foster parents have came forward and want to adopt them both!" WTF! now i have sold my truck to get money for a lawyer, mind you all of the time i have been taking off work to go see my son in a room for an hour and also run around to the courts... Somebody needs to hold this department liable for all the false information they have provided and yes they now dont call me back unless i call a million times a day! this is not justice this is criminal actions!

These dcf agents aka case workers are nothing but
Hitler's SS.
They make little money
so they feel powerful by stealing kids from good moms (usually single moms).
why not focus on the kids with BAD parents?

Commonwealth of Massachusetts / MassHealth Inability to contact live representative

Have had my Food Stamps case closed due to the inability to reach a live operator. Was given a recertification appointment and could not get through. Have been calling for several weeks at all times of day, with no luck. I received letter that my case was closed due to non compliance with the interview apointment. I then reapplied, was given another appointment via mail, and the same thing happened, unable to contact case worker. This is ridiculous. Even the (866) General Assistance number does not allow you to speak with a representative. It takes your information and then tells you all operators are busy and hangs up on you. I have two young children living at home with me, my income is not enough to pay the cost of owning my own home and all costs involved in the upkeep, and we are, needless to say, hungry and desperate. It has been a month since we have been able to purchase food, and living off rice & pasta . Please help.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts / MassHealth no one will answer the phone

I have been calling these DCF. people for 3 days now. thier phone # is [protected]. & absolutely NO ONE will answer the phone. I must have a print out on my current benifits for a section 8 voucher i just recieved. How can i report changes to my case in the 10 days that they ( DCF ) demand, if they will not answer thier phone? I am unable to access thier web site either. All this drama is NOT worth the whopping $ 44.00 they so kindly shell out.
