I got this cremation policy for 1600 bucks and I already paid 2000 into it
I got this cremation policy for 1600 bucks and I already paid 2000 into it. Got 3 more years to go and it's gonna cost me 2800. Then I got this other policy in 2015 for 6 grand and I already paid over 7 grand. Got 4 more years to go. So I called them up and asked why I gotta pay 19 grand for a policy that's only gonna pay out 6 grand. They said there ain't gonna be no money left over and I'll get a funeral payout of 6045. They said it's guaranteed but I'm losing money. They said it's like financing a car for 15 grand and ending up spending 19 grand. But I ain't financing nothing, I'm paying them directly. I read somewhere that if you cancel a preneed policy later on, you get 90% refund and 80% interest. But they said I'm misinformed.

I got some beef with Cincinnati Equitable Life Insurance Co. Been trying to get some customer service for my pre-need funeral insurance policy since October and they keep denying me. They promised to send me important documents but I ain't got nothing yet. And when they do send me stuff, it's all wrong and they won't fix it. Plus, they keep giving me different info about my policy and they didn't even secure the extra money I put in. They promised to give it to my beneficiaries but now they're saying they gotta add some special clause to the policy. And they didn't even do that! So, I asked for my extra money back and they only gave me $4,000 out of the $5,000+ I put in. And now they're taking back the interest I earned on my policy, over $1,000! They even made a new policy for me without my consent and backdated it to November . And they won't even explain it to me! The policy service manager is a liar and won't help me out. And the vice president won't even call me back. This company used to be good but now they're a nightmare. I want my money and my original policy back ASAP.
