Had Chem Dry come out to clean my carpets. I did an online quote and it was almost $500. Before the day of service, I reached out to the manager to get a more accurate quote and if pre-treatment was included in the original quote as I did not want to have any surprises when it came time to pay. He insisted that it was always included and that the person coming to do the cleaning would "tell me he gets there". He cam to the house and did not tell me what the price was going to be before treatment and waited until AFTER he had done everything to tell me the price was going to be over $700! I then told him that was not at even close to the quote i received and he tinkered with his ipad and got it down to $670. There were still lots of stains on my carpets, which I do clean at least 3 times a year with my own carpet cleaner and I honestly feel like I have done better at removing stains on carpets than they did. I'm very disappointed with the lack of price transparency, bait and switch offer, and poor cleaning results. They also charged me to clean a bed room that they did not clean! very disappointed, I feel like I was scammed.
