Chapman Used Cars On Speedway in Tucson is not a good place to go. My car was supposed to be fixed in 10 days, but it's been almost 5 weeks now and it's still not painted. They keep saying it will be done by Friday, but it never is. They keep giving me the runaround about stripping the paint and repainting it, but that's a normal job for a collision shop. I won't ever go back to Chapman and I don't recommend it to anyone. Find another place to go.

I bought a Volkswagon Jetta from Chapman Used Cars On Speedway in May . Since then, I've had to fix it more than my last 4 cars combined. The shifter knob fell off while my wife was driving a few days after we got it, but I fixed it by tightening the screws. I had two other problems with the suspension, and after taking off the front tires, I found that two of the three bolts on the passenger side front lower control arm were super loose. The fourth bolt was stripped and the nut was gone. I got new parts from AutoZone and fixed it. But the knocking didn't stop, so I took off the rear tire and found that the lower bolt holding the shock to the wheel hub wasn't attached at all. I fixed that too.

I bought a Chevy Trax 2019 from Chapman Used Cars On Speedway in May 21. We noticed some issues beforehand, but they were taken care of. However, we mentioned an important issue about engine noises a week after the purchase, and they said it was normal. Now, we're having engine issues when pumping gas. The Chevy stalls and doesn't start for about 5 minutes. We were right about this issue, but nothing was done. We believe that this vehicle has some engine issues, and no one checked it before selling it. Now, we're stuck with this lemon. Someone should have known about this issue beforehand. Someone didn't do their due diligence. I'm going to take legal action against Chapman Auto because this problem could have been resolved before. Also, there was no Car-fax information for this vehicle, and we found out that there were two previous owners, and the vehicle had about 18 issues according to Car-fax information. We just want to change this vehicle for another one, paying at least what we paid or less. We've been trying to trade in this vehicle, and they offered a Kia Optima LX 2015 with a monthly payment of $519.00. The dealership mentioned that we can only look for a vehicle under $14,500 with low mileage of 100K, knowing that our credit is around 549 and we only have $500.00 down. We would like to find a solution with Chapman Speedway used car as soon as possible. Thank you.
