We Just had a tile kitchen backsplash installed with CFI. The installer was very knowledgeable and helpful. He took time to explain things and answer any questions we had through the process. He was timely, polite, and professional. Best of all, our backsplash looks amazing. Would definitely call this company again.

CFI was the installation company for the carpet I purchased through ***. I was a bit skeptical but since it was a job I couldn't do myself I went with ***'s recommendation. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Christopher B professionalism and knowledge. I would not hesitate to have this young man install carpet for me in the future. The carpet looks great and clean up was perfect.

Worked through *** to get new plank vinyl flooring and carpet installed throughout most of my house and the job was contracted to CFI. Was very happy with the job they did on both. They completed both jobs either on time or ahead of schedule, and the floors turned out great! CFI even helped me save some money on materials during the job as well. Would definitely plan to work directly with them on any future projects.

Reading the reviews had me worried after I purchased and booked my install thru *** but I had the exact opposite experience as these other people. The installers came the day that was scheduled and called 30 mins before arriving. They removed the old carpet, installed new tack strips, padding, and carpet in my 750 sqft basement in under 4 hours. Everything was cleaned up and looks great. Other people must just have bad luck or are too picky.

Had my carpet installed on the 21st of February. The 3 guys that came out were awesome and very professional for what their job is. They listened to music and installed my master bedroom in about a hour and half that's including removing the old carpet and pad. Very pleased after being nervous about other reviews. If you buy from *** you cant blame this company for mismeasures and things like that. Will definitely use these cats in the future 12 out of 10 for every aspect of the installation.

Working with CFI has been an absolute nightmare. My flooring installation began on September 24. As of today, November 11, it is still not complete. I paid up front through ***, so I am at their mercy. No one called or texted me to confirm today's appointment, no one is returning my calls, so I have absolutely no idea if this will actually happen today, I'm amazed they are still in business. If this is the only option Home Depot has, I will take my next project elsewhere. Avoid this company at all costs!

An absolute nightmare, run 100 MPH away from this company, they do horrible work and do not stand behind their work. I thought by using *** that I would be covered by a bigger company and have someone to fall back on, not a chance. Took 3 months to do a flooring and 2 shower stall installation. Both shower stalls had to be ripped back out because the installer did the job in 6 hours and trust me it looked like a 3rd grader did the job. Now they have ripped out my bathrooms and said they won't finish because "I cant be satisfied" What a bunch of clowns ! Waiting on my refund in full !

Hardwood installation. Installers arrived on time. I was told the job would take approximately 3 hrs. The job took 14 hrs to complete. Two Installers worked the job, it was a 11 x 14 bedroom. Two hrs into the job, I was told the floor required leveling. No surprise, I was told it might be a requirement. Unfortunately, I was not told that the fee for leveling would be more than the entire installation charge. Even more unfortunate is that the floor is not level. Calls to CFI have not been returned. I only hired CFI because of the ***. I plan to install hardwood throughout my home. I have hired another installation company.

Horrible service! Run away, do not walk. Forgot to cut out a heat vent. Left something hard under my carpet. Banged up my doors, cut marks from a razor blade in my walls, broke a spindle on my banister, broke the door jam to my bedroom closet, big chunk taken out of closet door and left black hand prints all over my walls. I have pictures proving this. The response I received from the regional manager was it was hearsay and that the installer is his top 5. Left trash and staples in my front yard and all over my carpet. I was told because I had other contractors in my house it wasn't their fault. Those other contractors were my painters who finished the job two days before CFI arrived. I'd never recommend this company. When you do call to complain all you get is any people who hang up on you. Top notch customer service right there! Again, do not let them into your home as they will break things and shift blame to someone else and call you a liar.

I scheduled a flooring installation for my bathroom through *** and CFI is their contractor. My installation date was scheduled a month in advance of 3/17 and 3/18 . I received a phone call on 3/16 stating that an inspection was needed now to see if the flooring can be installed. The phone call was made 10 minutes prior to their offices closing the night before my installation date. I spoke with Carmen the morning of 3/17 about this call and she explained an inspection needed to be done by an installer first before installation could take place. When I asked her why wouldn't they just send the installer who was already scheduled to do work at my house today to do an inspection she said " that's a good question ". Carmen stated she would make a phone call to an installer and see if they could come today and call me back today to let me know. 7.5 hours later I called for an update since I had not heard back from Carmen. My phone call was not answered and I believe it is possible my call was ignored because I was told on the original phone call this morning Carmen was aware it was me calling because of the caller ID. I did not receive the call back that was promised nor the services I have paid for to take place on the dates they were scheduled to take place. Overall my business feels very unimportant to CFI. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Background: Work performed by the Beavercreek, OH office. We had both Laminate Floors and Carpet installed (different areas of the house). Bought thru *** - so they picked the installers. Overall, the floor and the carpet look good and seem to be OK so far. Good: The Laminate installers were good. Showed up on time, cleaned up, etc. Both gentlemen seemed experienced, and were pleasant. The carpet crew (subcontracted to another company - ***), were on time and worked expediently. Bad: One section of our floor had a slant. Everything I read says to level the floor first before installing laminate. But CFI Installations simply glued the planks together so they wouldn't raise up. They assured me it is fine, but I read Laminate is not supposed to be glued. We'll see how it holds. Now for the Carpet. The crew consisted of three guys, only one of whom was really experienced (and the only one who spoke English). One other seemed to know a little. I let them know the Laminate flooring was new, so please be mindful. Fell on deaf ears. I had to lay blankets down around, because they kept laying their staple guns and other tools on the new floor. The carpet included a stair runner, which they had to measure and send out for binding. They estimated 1 week. After 2 weeks, I called to see when it would be done. Couldn't get a hold of them. Called *** - they couldn't reach CFI either. Finally got through to another location, and they said they were moving offices. At the 3-week point, they got their phones working and I reached them. The guy said they were going to call...anyway, they finally came a week later to install the runner. Same issue with laying tools on the floor. But worse, they scratched the wood on the stairs on several steps with the staple gun. I didn't notice until afterwards. I would likely not use CFI Installations again.
