CBV Collection Services Ltd review: Tireless harassment, uncouth tactics

Debt recovery is not the same as criminal activity yet these folks treat "accounts" like shady underground gangster-economic transactions. You're just a guilty F&@#!-er in their minds so they do not treat your personal contact information with any degree of basic dignity or respect.

They bid for purchase of your data from defaulted accounts that are otherwise closed and resolved so to hound you through any and all pathways of first contact. Harassment will persist by way of secondary contact through a partner or spouse, too.

They've been trying everything to intimidate me into submission, demanding I give them payments for an old cellular phone bill account that roamed into the States for a whole damn month. When the service provider refused to reverse the charges, I refused to pay them another cent. Account went to collections 13, yes THIRTEEN YEARS AGO, and the amount owed was for a quarter of what they claim I owe now. They harass me at every turn, spamming my phone with calls from all sorts of origins daily. And now they have my spouse's number too, and they just slam her phone constantly. These folks are shills and try to bully you into paying them off. Reality is, by the time CBV gets your account, your outstanding debt has been long forgotten by credit bureaus and none of it actually affects your credit score anymore. CBV buys S#!T rogue accounts no other creditors want to touch so their "parole officer' tactics are slimy, underhanded and extremely unprofessional. Just keep ignoring their BS.
