They didn't complete my order and won't give back my money! They mention parts in a contract that ain't even there. I reported 'em to the state AG in WA. The company still admits they're at fault.

I called California All Steel Carports like 30 times to try and set up an appointment for my building to be installed, but all they keep saying is "I dunno when we can set you up." It's been like 7 weeks going on 8 and still nothing! How can you run a business without having a schedule or dates? They're always making excuses and never have any answers. They're so unprofessional and just terrible at running a business.

This company is a rip-off. After two years of having an 18 x 25 carport, we noticed holes in the eaves. It feels like a complete waste of money. They claim to have a 30-day warranty, but I've never had any issues with the two other places I bought from in Oregon. There were screws missing, and I'm not sure if that's the cause of the problem, but they should definitely have a complaint filed against them with the ComplaintsBoard.com. They need to be held accountable.

We ordered our RV carport in August and still haven't received an installation date by the end of November. We made several phone calls to get updates and even asked if we could pick it up ourselves (which is a 3.5-hour drive), but the company couldn't provide us with a timeframe. However, they insisted on full payment upfront if we were to pick it up. We're currently drenched on our property and extremely dissatisfied with California All Steel Carports.

This company is the absolute worst. I placed an order on 9/9 and was told not once, but twice, that the crew was on their way. Well, surprise surprise, they never showed up and didn't bother to give me a call. Customer service? Ha! They're a bunch of liars. The salesman even mentioned that he's searching for a new company to represent. And get this, one of their employees actually admitted that they hire transients and illegals who have to pay for their own lodging. Can you believe that? They don't even have control over their own workers! So, let this be a warning to all potential buyers: Beware! Oh, and don't forget, the down payment you make is non-refundable. But hey, at least the salesperson I dealt with had the decency to send me a refund and apologize. He's a stand-up guy, I'll give him that.

I ordered a building from California All Steel Carports, Inc. on November 10 through big building direct. They said it would take 6-8 weeks. The legal contract stated that the site was ready. It's been almost 6 months now and they haven't contacted me at all. I have to call them every time. They told me it would be done by the end of January. Then they said it would be done in March for sure. The latest they told me was April. Well, it's already May. I reported the broker as a fraud because they took my down payment and haven't reached out to me at all. Even big buildings direct has stopped emailing me.

BUYER BEWARE! This is the worst company ever! They were supposed to install a 40' x 20' building at 1:00pm, but the installer called me at around 7:30am saying they were on their way. I had to take a day off work for this. They then put the building together using really flimsy material. My contract clearly states 12 and 14 gauge steel, but it doesn't mention anything about them using 29 gauge steel. 29 gauge is super thin, like 0.0135 inches or 0.343 mm. Nowhere in the contract does it say they would use 29 gauge material. This place is a rip off and I wouldn't recommend or use them again. I'm a very disappointed veteran.

I ordered a carport from California All Steel Carports like 6 months ago in Oct 2020 and now it's April . I can't tell you how many times I called to try to get scheduled. When I first made the purchase the website said 6-8 weeks. I started calling around the 9th week and during that time there answer would be that they would get me scheduled soon. Then around January they said it was covid holding them up. Then Feb it a shortage of steel. Now I call once a week since the beginning of March and now I hear from them (we should have you on schedule next week and I'll call you on Friday) and I never they never call. I'm at a loss. I have a 30K trailer and 35K van that had to sit out in the snow, rain and sun all winter because they can't get their act together. I need help to try to get them to come through!

California All Steel Carports - They cancelled my order when I questioned them over the phone. I made the deposit and was told I would receive a call to schedule in 1 to 2 weeks. When I called back to check on the scheduling, they said they didn't have my payment. So, I had to give my card information again to someone over the phone. This time, I did receive a receipt and was told once again that it would be 1 - 2 weeks and I would receive a call to schedule. About 1 week later, I called again to see if I could be moved up on the schedule since it wasn't my fault that they didn't have all the information the first time. When I questioned the person I was talking to (Maria), she said I was too much work. I asked to speak with her manager, and she said she would cancel my order and I wouldn't get my deposit back. I can't believe it! She couldn't handle the fact that I wanted to talk to her manager or CEO. She claimed she was the top and there was no one else I could talk to. Does anyone know the CEO's phone number or name? I would really like to know.

If you have the bad luck to deal with this company, I hope you read this first. I got connected with California All-Steel through another company (Big Buildings Direct) who, in the end, acted honorably. But California All-Steel, oh boy! Their sales representative, Maria T, is more concerned with proving herself right than actually explaining things clearly to the customer and helping them out. When I signed the contract with Big Buildings Direct, I made it clear that my county didn't require engineered plans for the permit. The contract even specified the snow load and wind speed requirements. So, after I finished my concrete slab, I called to schedule the installation. But guess what? They told me I had to sign a waiver saying that the building wouldn't be certified to meet the county's requirements of 30psf snow and 105mph wind unless I bought the engineered plans. Can you believe it? Big Buildings Direct had assured me in writing that I wouldn't need to sign any waiver to get the snow and wind guarantee. But Maria insisted that they wouldn't install the building without the waiver or the engineered plans, and that I couldn't get a permit without them either. Well, guess what? I got the permit just one day later and sent them a copy. And what did Maria do? She started arguing with the planning department, telling them that they couldn't issue a permit without the engineered plans. The planner got really mad and wrote to me, saying that engineered plans were not required. He also mentioned that Maria had some nerve trying to tell the county how to do their job. Can you believe the audacity? Maria even threatened to have my project RED TAGGED. Thank goodness she canceled my order. Big Buildings returned my deposit. I immediately found another company that made the whole process easy, charged less money, used heavier materials, and included the plans.

I'm writing to let you know that I'm paying the balance due, even though I'm not happy with the final product you guys built. I sent you a lot of pictures showing the issues I had, but I haven't received any response about when or how these issues will be taken care of. I only paid today because the office called and said the crew would take down the building after I pointed out the issues. I didn't notice them last night because it was dark when they said they were done at 8pm. However, this morning I had a chance to do a walk-through and sent more pictures, apologizing for not seeing them earlier due to the darkness. So, I believe these issues should be covered under the 30-day warranty and I hope they will be fixed later on.

I'm concerned that you guys sold me a building that doesn't match the engineered prints from the company you contracted with. Now, we're not sure if the building is safe and might cause harm to me and my family. I asked you to start the process of creating new engineered drawings, but you guys said you would only do it if the inspector notices something and writes a corrective memo. I would prefer if you guys built the correct building as per the contract I signed, instead of offering a $2500 discount. However, you responded by saying it would cost you too much money to take down the building and put up a new one. You also mentioned that if the building was taken down, you wouldn't put up another one. You offered to only refund the money I paid, without including the cost of the engineering firm, forklift, inspector, or repairing the concrete that now has 86 holes. I have the option to either take the discount and lose all those costs, or not have a building at all. Considering the rising cost of steel, if I were to cancel, I would end up paying a lot more for the same building.

I believe this is very unprofessional. If you guys made a mistake, the right thing to do is fix the building and build it according to the engineered plans.

Horrible company! Monday, August 30th installation scheduled. The contractor did not show up, then he rescheduled Tuesday, August 31st and when he showed up he threatened to leave halfway through the day because the company had not paid him. He used me as leverage against the company threatening me to not complete the project and having to return in several weeks to complete it. I called the office and they call the contractor got mad at him for telling me about the business between the contractor and the company. Maria T at California All-Steel never returned my call that day. The contractor said he would complete it in One day. I spent $100 on dinner for him and his crew because California All-Steel didn’t not pay him. He did not get it done that night and returned Wednesday morning September 1 at 9 AM. He finished the job but installed the broken window. He promised to return on Friday September 3rd to fix the broken window and I explained I WOULD PAY HIM THE WHOLE AMOUNT WITH NO DISCOUNT on that day. Friday, September 3 arrived he canceled once again and said he would be there Saturday morning September 4. He did not show up and canceled Saturday morning. Not only was I leveraged by the contractor for payment to him from California All-Steel as a threat. I also was threatened by Maria T if I did not send the check overnight she was going to have a contractor take the building down today September 15th. THIS THREAT IS AGAINST THE LAW BY CALIFORNIA ALL-STEEL. She threatened me with the building removal. I do not appreciate California All-Steel supervisors/representative/family member THREATENING THE CUSTOMER who has been working with the contractor To repair the broken window that was installed. The man who sold me the building witnessed The broken window minutes after it was installed and acknowledged both tabs were broken. They replaced the broken window today September 15th by TRESPASSING without permission. I was not there and did not know they were coming. The contractor also BROKE INTO A LOCKED BUILDING to access the broken window. He took the door frame off when he reinstall the door frame it was crooked and the door jams now and does not work properly. Now I have to fix the door frame. He fixed one problem and caused another one. California All-Steel is responsible for the contractors they hire and assigned for jobs. California All-Steel or the contractor DID NOT HAVE PERMISSION to be on this location after September 3rd. This is considered trespassing. When I said I will be contacting upper management above Maria T she informed me there’s nobody higher than her. She apparently must be the president of the company or a family member. This is supposed to be a family business. I am a customer who was willing to pay the agreed amount even when there were delays however There has been no discount or gesture saying they’re sorry for the inconvenience. They just blame the contractor and THREATEN ME. Maria T offered a discount of $200 that the contractor would have to pay. I said OK but when I wasn’t happy and wanted to talk to somebody above her she told me I made a mistake and now I’m not getting my $200 and there’s nobody above her and she’s going to have the building removed. I am the customer and I did nothing wrong. I can handle some adversity but not blame. I have documentation that shows I made every effort to accommodate problems with the contractor and make payment in the full amount owed. However due to contractor issues not showing up as well as installing broken products and the poor communication on California All-Steel this is what caused this issue and should be acknowledged and resolved in a non-aggressive way with no threats from employees or contractors of California All-Steel. This family business could not do this. I Just kept getting screwed around by the contractor and the company. Now Maria T Said I broke the window that was installed. THREATENED BY EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS! RIDICULOUS ! They blame there contractors. Do not believe their response. THEY LIED. Read other reviews.

I couldn't find an address for RSI, the company that California All Steel claims I made the deposit to. They're listed as the dealer on the contract, but there's no contact info or address for them, only for All Steel.

After many calls and emails, since the installation of our 60'x60' shop, the company has failed to correct or resolve the damaged door (which was damaged when delivered and installed) and the leaking roof on our shop. Now we are finding random screws on the ground that seem to be falling out of the building, causing safety and structural concerns.

I bought a carport from this company in August through a reseller in WA state. It's been 11 months and I still don't have my carport. If I cancel, they say I won't get my deposit back from them, I have to go to their reseller. The reseller is telling me he won't give my money back, I have to deal with California All Steel. I just want my carport or my money back. I've been getting lied to and jerked around for almost a year.

I bought a carport from Valley Shed, one of California All Steel Carports, Inc.'s dealers, last June. They said it would take 4-8 weeks to install. They gave me a contract, took my deposit, and said they would keep in touch. The carport was meant for agriculture, so they charged me the 5% tax rate for ag. The dealer told me to submit the exemption form during installation or when making the final payment. After four months (16 weeks), they finally scheduled the installation and informed me that they don't accept the ag tax rate, or I should have informed them earlier. I reminded them that it's clearly stated in the original contract from June. Now, they're refusing to install or complete the contract. I have all the evidence in text messages.

This company is the worst I've ever dealt with. They were supposed to come in the afternoon, but they called at 7 am and said they were on their way. I had to take off work and lose a day's pay. The contract says they use 14 and 16 gauge steel, but when I measured with a caliper, it turned out they use 29 gauge steel. They never mentioned this in my contract. It's only 0.0163 inches thick, as thin as construction paper. This place is a rip-off and their customer service is terrible. Even the employees in the front office are rude, and the salesperson was really shady. If you have any questions about using this company, feel free to call me. Do yourself a favor and choose a different company.

On 11/5, I placed an order for a barn from California All Steel Carports, Inc. The invoice for the barn came to a total of $36,178.48. I made a deposit of $3665.50, which was paid in full. On 1/8, I also ordered engineered plans for the barn, which cost $2,029.50 and was paid in full.

The barn delivery was supposed to be scheduled for February . However, when I asked for the engineer plans to submit to the county, California All Steel informed me that no plans had been ordered, despite having received my full payment. I inquired about the confirmed barn delivery date, but they stated that no barn had been ordered or engineered as of 2/2. This was contradictory to what the sales representative, ***, from Mobile Mountain Trails and California All Steel had promised. The invoice I received was from California All Steel.

Due to the snow and cold weather in Prosser, WA, where I needed the barn by February , I had to purchase temporary shelters for my animals to ensure their survival. Despite my numerous attempts to find out the status of my barn order, I was repeatedly told that the barn had never been ordered or engineered by California All Steel.

I have requested a refund for all of my deposits multiple times, but they have refused to comply. As of 9/5, I have not received any refund and still do not have the barn that I was promised.

On October 7, I paid the $1,700.00 deposit for a 30 x 48 foot building from California All Steel buildings. They said it would be installed within 8 to 12 weeks. But at the 12 week mark, they said there would be a delay because of the COVID 19 Virus. On January 8, they promised to give me an update by the end of that week. But on January 26, after no contact from them, I reached out and they said they were "having delays due to our distributors being back ordered" and that "California All-Steel will fulfill all its orders on a timely basis". I've sent many emails and made lots of calls, but as of today, May 20, the building still hasn't been installed and I have no idea when it will be. The office manager was no help at all. They keep giving me the same excuses for months. It's been 28 weeks now and there's no end in sight.

I got an RV cover put up in early May this year. After waiting for months, the crew finally showed up and did a decent job. However, they didn't have all the necessary materials to finish the job. The site Forman promised that someone from CA All Steel would contact me within a few days and send the crew back in a few weeks to complete the job. I paid CA All Steel in full, as they promised, but they weren't honest with me. Nobody called me, even though I made the contract on 5/12 and sent pictures of the unfinished RV cover. The gal, ***, had no idea what was going on. She contacted the installers, and they confirmed that they didn't have enough material to finish the job. However, they refused to go back because it's too hot. The Forman wrote on the receipt that they were lacking material and would be back in a few weeks. But *** from CA All Steel won't send the crew back to finish the job, and she won't even send the materials via freight so that someone else can complete the job. They offered me $100 to basically go away, but I refused.

California All Steel Carports did my detached garage installation, but during the process, we noticed that one of the 12x12 garage doors had dents and scrapes. The installer made a note of it on the invoice and assured us that they would come back to replace it after the installation. We paid for the service and tried to contact California All Steel multiple times over the past two months, but each time they told us that they couldn't reach the installer.

Finally, we managed to set up a date for the technician to come and replace the garage door on August 15. Both my wife and I took the day off from work, eagerly waiting for their arrival. However, by 2 pm, no one had shown up, so we called them. They promised to call us back, but we ended up waiting until 4:45 pm with no sign of anyone. Frustrated, I called them again, only to be told that the installer couldn't make it that day. It was incredibly disappointing to have wasted an entire day waiting for them.

I strongly advise against using California All Steel for any garage, barn, or shed needs. If you encounter any issues, they will not stand behind their products or make an effort to resolve them.

I bought a 24x36 carport from California All Steel. The sales guy told me it was top-notch and they would set it up for me. I signed a bunch of papers and read them real careful. One of 'em was a waiver for an engineer-approved building. I figured the building was good enough and didn't need no engineer 'cause the company should've taken care of that already. Nobody told me I needed an engineer. Well, guess what? The building collapsed on my boat and old truck. If I knew they were sellin' uncertified buildings, I wouldn't have bought it. But now, 'cause I signed that waiver sayin' I don't need no engineer, they won't take responsibility. I got it in May 2022, they installed it in August 2022, and it fell down in January 2023. If I was under that thing, I could've been real hurt! They're sellin' shoddy carports that could end up killin' someone.

In June, 2022, California All Steel Carports, Inc. came to our place to build a carport. When they finished, we noticed that the job was done poorly. The materials used were neglected, the craftsmanship was terrible, and our property got damaged. Moreover, they didn't even install all the parts we paid for. We were supposed to get extra bracing brackets and 20 ground Augers, but they only used 16. We paid $423.93 for these missing items.

In February, they told us that if we signed a settlement document, they would send us a refund check. They claim they sent the check, but we haven't received it. Now, they are refusing to send a replacement check unless we pay a $30 fee. We asked for proof that the check was sent, but they said it was sent through regular mail. We haven't received any check from them, and even if it was sent securely, there's no chance of it being stolen. It's unfair that they want us to pay a fee to replace a check that they haven't proven was delivered to us. They have had our money for almost 10 months, so they should probably owe us interest too! We have multiple emails showing that California All Steel Carports, Inc. owes us the amount of $423.93, and they should be required to refund it.

I bought some drawings from California All Steel Carports, Inc. that were supposed to be engineered for my county's building code. However, when I received the drawings, they were incorrect, and as a result, I couldn't get a building permit. This really slowed down the construction of my house. I complained to the managers, but they didn't believe that I had even dealt with the building department. They accused me of lying about everything, from the requirements in my county to what I had requested. I sent them a check for my order, but I didn't get what I paid for. I really wish I could listen to their phone calls to see how they talk to their customers and dismiss their problems as "not a big deal." If I had known that they wouldn't take my project or money seriously, I wouldn't have dealt with them. I think I deserve a partial refund for the delay caused by their incorrect and overpriced drawings. I also asked to speak to someone in corporate, but *** refused to give me any information. They might say I was rude, but wouldn't you be upset if you were told that your situation wasn't important and you watched $1675 disappear? They might argue that they did what was stated in the contract, but the truth is they received my order and didn't provide the drawings I paid for, which didn't even meet my county's code.

I bought a garage from these guys and I tried to get them to come fix the leaky roof multiple times. They kept saying they can only come during the week, Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. But that doesn't work for me since I work every day and can't be there during the week. I told them it was their mistake and I shouldn't have to take a day off work because they didn't install the roof properly. But they flat out refuse to fix their product now. A lot of my stuff got ruined because of their negligence. I told them I can be there on the weekends, any weekend, but they said no. So I want a professional to fix my roof and they have a lot of complaints online. How much more do they need to stop doing this to people? They won't work with their customers to fix a problem that's completely their fault. As a paying customer, I shouldn't have to take another day off work for them to come during the week. There's no way I'm letting anyone inside my garage without me being there, which they wanted me to do, by the way. I'm really upset and devastated about how they treated me. I just wanted them to fix my purchase. My garage has puddles and it's pointless because all my stuff is getting ruined. It's a total mess and I don't know what else to do. Should I get a lawyer? I don't know. Hopefully, you guys can help because I can't really afford a lawyer. If they don't want to fix it, then I want them to pay for a company of my choice to come fix the roof or just give me back 30% of the cost to cover the damages. Thanks for your time.

On 3/25, we got an order form from the company telling us how much our building would cost and what kind of steel, doors, and size it would have. We paid a deposit of $3,722.25 on the same day. When they didn't tell us when they would start, I called and talked to ***, the scheduler. She said they didn't have the 12 gauge material and didn't know when they would get it. I called again in September and talked to *** again, and she still didn't know when they would have the steel. *** said the project manager used our steel on another project. December came and they still didn't have any steel. Then, on February 17th, 2022, *** sent an email saying she had no new updates and that they would contact us soon. On 2/23/22, *** called and said they were ready to start. But remember, the contract doesn't say anything about locking in the price because it can change. This wouldn't be a problem if they had put up the building in July like they said. When we signed the original contract, they told us it would lock in the price they quoted. We've spent so much time talking to different people trying to fix this, but nothing has worked. They sent us a new contract to sign on 2/24/22 with new pricing, but we refused to sign because they messed up the installation and used our steel on another project. We asked for a refund because they broke the contract, but they said no. I would understand if it was our fault, but we had our slab ready by May for the installation they promised in July .

Purchased a steel building from All Steel in April , with a deposit. Order of completion in 4-6 weeks. Which gave me time to prepare the land for the building. Received a call a week later, saying there were ready to install. Luckily, my land was being prepped that week. I told them the following week it would be ready. Not the 4-6 weeks I was told. But they assured me no problem. Since then, I have been calling every week, to no avail of delivery. But from what I’ve heard, from the companies that sell there product, if they don’t have enough business in that area, they will not deliver. So it is not 4-6 weeks, it’s more like 4-6 months.
