In December 2019 I went to this Tim Horton Drive thru, I usually have avoided this one because of the way they completely rush to give you your products and change. This morning I ordered a coffee and as usual they were handing out the window at the same time giving me change, when I took the coffee the lid was not on tight and spilt all over me and my car. Luckily it was not even the coffee I ordered and this one had 3 cream in it so I was not burnt.
The staff gave me napkins and then said, " you have to be careful how you grip the cup with these new lids" No sorry, instead turned this on me. I had to proceed to work covered in coffee, needed to have my coat dry cleaned and still have stains in my car.
What upsets me is the way they treated me, as if this was my fault. It is a well known fact in town to avoid this drive thru due to the way they hurry and well this time that was lucky for me, the wrong coffee given to me.
I would greatly appreciate if further education could take place with this staff to avoid this type of occurrance in the future and keep people safe and clean. I do realize that quick service is what is expected at a drive thru but this Tim Horton's is taking this too far.
