Canadian Tire

What happened today was unacceptable and very rude. The Canadian Tire store I am complaining about is the one in Cedarbrae mall (3553 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1H 1B2). I'm looking around for a few products and up behind me is a sales representative that is selling the Canadian Tire credit cards. I have no intention of signing up and told this sales representative (African) multiple times nicely that I am not interested and she won't get a sale out of me. She didn't listen to what I had to say and continued on talking about the cards (she batted her eyes and said 'it doesn't matter' when I was talking multiple times). She also looked liked she was training someone as well- this is a TERRIBLE example to give. She was harassing me and being aggressive trying to close this sale. I have worked in sales (including door to door) so I understand and know how to effectively get a sale. She was doing a poor job and showing to the new hire if you are aggressive and dominant, they will give in. I really hope this gets straightened out because incidents like this can make a potential customer turn the other cheek. Effective and efficient sales tactics work better than being aggressive and harassing people. This is not how a sales representative acts.
