On October 17, 2019 at 13:32:22 hours, Shell Gas cashier Nari Singh told me that buying 2 bottles of water would get me 10 Bonus Air Miles. I bought the bottled water that he said would qualify for the Bonus Air Miles, but noticed on the Shell gas receipt that I did not get any Air Miles.

I complained to Nari Singh about the missing Air Miles and wanted to return the water bottles to get a refund. Whereby he said to me not to worry. No problem. He would give me the 10 Bonus Air Miles manually. So he printed out a receipt for me:

MANUAL AIR MILES Qty: 10 Amount: $0.10
Terminal: C20702
Approval: 202161049020019101710052690

The receipt looked authentic, so I left happy and did not return the water bottles for refund.

Upon checking my Air Miles account for Oct. 17, 2019 on my computer, I realized that the 10 Bonus Air Miles were never given. I waited several weeks for Air Miles website to process the Bonus Air Miles.

When I got gas at this Shell Gas Station again in Nov. 2019, I asked the lady cashier about the missing Air Miles. She said that Manual Air Miles were not given out to customers. In fact, there was no such policy about giving out Manual Air Miles. I showed her my receipt for the 10 Bonus Air Miles, but she said she was not authorized to give me any bonus Air Miles.

I then called Air Miles Customer Service to complain. The Customer Service agent informed me that Shell Gas Station should not have given me the phony Manual Air Miles. Air Miles Customer Service could NOT correct the problem by giving me the promised 10 Bonus Air Miles by Shell Gas Station even with an official receipt.

Although the monetary value of 10 Bonus Air Miles is only about 10 cents, I feel that ripping me off by giving me a phony Manual Air Miles receipt is very dishonest and deceitful.

I would appreciate your looking into this fraudulent transaction and let me know what can be done to correct this injustice.
