Walmart - mistreatment

I was an employee for Walmart for 17mths I was Terminated from Store #1111 because i made an important phone call home to my Husband, i was asked by an Assistant Manager Krystal if i was on the clock i said yes, she then stated this was time theft and that there will be a coaching on this matter. I went on the Wire to try and find a policy where it had stated that i committed time theft i could nt find anything, i later asked another Assistant Manager where i could find this and she could not find anything, at this time Krystal came into the office and asked what we were looking for we told her we were looking for a policy on time theft, Krystal then tried as well still nothing, she then proceeded to ask if this was because of what happened earlier i stated yes that i had a right to see this policy, she then proceeded to argue with me as i tried to tell her this was a confidential matter and i was not going to argue with her in front of another employee, she still proceeded to yell at me and treat me like garbage..

Mistreatment of Walmart employees at store #1111 has been an on going issue, I have been verbally abused by the store manager Niles Jenkins repeatedly, as well as others, i have been verbally assaulted and hit by skids from another employee when i told management this was ignored and nothing done to this employee, yet it states in Walmart own policy that Verbal, physical abuse and harassment is not tolerated.

I am not the only one in this store there are other employees that have experienced the same thing if not worse, when we contact out PM and GM Niles would haul you in to the office and get angry with the fact that you did this, when you try to explain that you felt you couldn't go to him he would state that maybe this was not the place for you. In other wards threaten your job.

I thought that as a Human being I had the right to stand up and protect myself when the managers wouldn't and in the process they saw me as a threat and fired me. I used to hear from others all the time DO NOT WORK FOR WALMART! now i see why.

There has to be something done to protect employees at Walmart, and stop the abuse that these employees go through..
