Myself and my children drove through the drive-through on our way to go shopping uptown. on the way up my son wanted to stop in the drive-through and pick up a slow cooked chicken habanero bowl. we got our order and continued on uptown. as we left my son started eating his food and said it was cold, the chicken was cold. I didn’t want to turn around and go back as the store I was going to was only about a 5 minute drive from the restaurant. I went and did my shopping must’ve been about a half an hour. We return to the drive-through. I informed the lady on the drive-through White had happened that we had left. His food was called. informed her that I still had the full bowl excluding a couple bites. she didn’t have good English so she got another employee to come on the speaker. The other employee told me that where it was a half an hour, they couldn’t replace it. I try to explain to her that I went into the store and wasn’t gonna drive back down when we had to pass there on the way home anyway. gas here is 176.9. Obviously with that price I’m on a budget. I’m not gonna do any unnecessary driving. Anyway, she was rude. I got rude back and left. I think it’s totally unfair to go to the drive-through spend almost $11 on a bowl not be able to eat it and then be told that they weren’t gonna refund it. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous for the price of things now either which way everybody works hard for their money. so I didn’t just miss out on that $11that Tim Hortons is close to my house, usually visits maybe five times a week plus and I will not be going back there.
Desired outcome: I was expecting an apology and a replacement of the food!
