The Brick - Couch
In South Surrey store I was met by a sales consultant name Summer giving me a VIP one day only sale stating I will get around $250 off any purchase. I saw a couch I liked that was on sale for $998.00. She asked me if I wanted the light colored one or the olive green. I said I liked both and asked if I ordered one if I could have it by March 24th. She said it could be arranged. She looked them up and said that there was 3 left and that was for all the Brick's stores and could not promise that they would not sell. I said I needed to think about it and I would take my chances. The next day I went back to the store with my VIP coupon and she said that it was only the floor model that was on sale (to order one was $1598.00). It did not say floor model only on the tag nor did she tell me that the day before. She also told me her manager said I could only get $50.00 off. I feel that this sales lady lied to me knowing that I was interested in this couch. She should have told me this the first day I looked at it as she even looked them up to see if there were any in stock.
Desired outcome: To be able to order one at sale price and use my VIP coupon. Her number is [protected]. I do have a witness with me both days.
I filed a complaint about the couch I wanted to purchase in South Surrey and it would not allow me to complete my complaint. The complaint was against the sales rep named Summer. My name is Cindy Murphy at Cindylmurphy@hotmail.com.. After telling this sales rep that I wanted to purchase the item at the sale price she looked it up stating there was three left. The couch was $998.00 pluse the VIP coupon. I came in the next day and she said it was only the floor model on sale and that I would have to pay another $500 to order it. This is not what she told me the day before nor was it advertised as only the floor model. She also gave me a VIP private sale coupon saying I would get $250.00 off for a purchase. Once she knew I was interested she changed the story and lied to me.
