Starion Energy Pa Inc The worst company and services

People, stay away from the company Starion Energy Pa Inc. I started to get phone calls from them. They offered me their services and promised to provide reasonable prices. I really believed them, but these jerks simply fooled me. They started to take fake charges, also they ignored my requests and when I needed help, they simply ignored my emails. These people are scammers and liars, who take money and provide nothing. Please post your comments about this company.

Got a call saying they are the supporter of duke energy. And that they wanted to lower my rates. Cmon. Decided to look them up and found out its a scam. Just what I thought. What business calls to lower you bill. I am a senior and I suspect that's who they go after.

I am elderly but thank goodness still have the ability to be skeptical. Received junk call today from Starion Energy's boiler room operation. That's despite being on the state and federal Do Not Call registries. Caller promised at least 40% savings and wanted my acct# immediately. She couldn't answer most questions. I refused to give acct#, always an important move. Then I checked current suppliers T&C and rates, called them, and ran the numbers. Even with no other mischief, Starion rate is just 5% lower now, and it can change from month to month without notice.

I am elderly and on state and federal Do Not Call registries. Despite this, I recd a junk call from Starion Energy today, promising at least 40% savings from Nstar/Eversource. Boiler room caller didn't want to answer any questions, just put me on as a Starion customer. Wanted my acct# up front! I refused. I called Nstar/Eversource and we ran the numbers. The 40% promise was a full-fledged lie. Temporarily, the Starion rate is 5% less and it can change from month to month without notice.

I work in this industry an in your area of the country actually an they are by far one of the worst suppliers out there, they don't inform you of there service charge and like all variable rate or short contract, low rate deal they get you on the back end when they hope your not looking... But also I am from a deregulated state myself an have had a supplier for years, go find a nice fixed long term contract an protect yourself for the long term an get annual savings, your variable rate your on with the utility as your supplier may be lower a few months out of the year but these are typically low usage months out of the year! And your protected against anything that may happen to drive your utilities rates up, cause remember your utility has to charge you what they pay to the cent so say a power plant in your area has issues an next month they have to buy it for 20 cent per kWh but you have a decent fixed rate your good. I hope this helped you an they haven't turned you off on a good supplier an remember not to believe everything you read about companies cause every one has complaints. I guess this is the last thing I'd say about getting a fixed rate its kind of like volcano insurance it sounds stupid at first but if you lived by MT Vesuvius you'd love to have it, well remember gas and electric are traded on the commodities market an that's just like a volcano and your protected generally 8 months out of the year from MT St Helens and if Vesuvius exploded your protected cause your supplier by law has to purchase all your electricity at your time of enrollment! Well I hope this helped you an gave you some help just one person to another GL an merry Xmas 🎅

Starion Energy Pa Inc Company fooled me and their services were too expensive

One day the rep from the company Starion Energy Pa Inc came to my door and told me that they offered lower prices for heating and electricity. He looked into my bill and told me that I was charged for much and offered their services. I agreed and signed the contract, but the next bill was horrible. I needed to pay for $400 more as I paid before. This guy befooled me. I don’t know what to do now. They didn’t reply to my complaints. Please, help me.

Starion Energy Pa Inc Big bills

Starion Energy Pa Inc called and said they had low rates. I was told they would always be lower. The bills were lower for about three months and then I forgot to check them about two months as I paid automatically. Today I looked at last bill and was shocked. It is three time s bigger than used to be.

I HATE this company. Anyone who states other wise, more then likely has someone who works at this company. I ask for a budget. Have NOT received at all. And my bill is always getting higher for NO reason at all. Time for a change.

I have been a customer for over a year now and have had no problems with my service or rate. I think people need to listen more carefully when people are explaining things. Obviously if you sign up for a variable rate, it is subject to change. They offered me both a variable and fixed rate and I chose the variable. It has only changed once in the past year and it is even less than when I signed up. Great customer service!

Can someone tell me how my Pepco electric bill for a 1 bedroom apartment in Washington DC went from an average of $50.00- $100.00 / month depending on the weather to $250-$450/month AFTER signing up with Starion? The representatives bold-faced lied to me claiming to be reps of Pepco. The only reason I signed up was because I had just gotten laid off. I didn't want to spend all of my unemployment $ on utilities. I researched Starion Energy and found a few articles on how they target the elderly, the poor and the minorities. Well, Starion, you chose the WRONG minority to mess with. I only live in the ghetto half by choice (miserly penny pincher) and half by actually having a low income from time to time. I'm a very sharp, business & analytical-minded individual. Not all minorities are dumb. Matter fact, minorities aren't dumb, most choose to remain in their dreadful circumstances, kind of like how certain victims choose to relate to their attackers a la Stockholm's Syndrome. That's a whole 'nother subject. The point is...I'm coming after you Starion. No one messes with my money and gets away with it! I will be suing if I don't get the refund I'm asking for. I set aside attorney money for B.S. such as this. Get Ready ###. And by ###, I mean you Starion. #WARNINGSHOTSFIRED

I was told by Starion Energy door to door sale person that my rates would be lower than Duke Energy, that the rates would never increase, and that I would receive a $75.00 gift card after six months. However, the rates are now more than Duke Energy, they in fact did increase, and after more than a year I still haven't received the gift care. Its a scam where Starion Energy are robbing people without a gun! ... John Whitehead, Cincinnati, OH

This company sent out workers to my apartment complex during Jan. They lead me to believe they were there on behalf of pepco and had badges to boot so I figured it was legit. The person said they were there to get me a lower rate on my electric, I have been getting the run around ever since to figure why my bill has been from 103-150 range to almost $400 a month and I live in a 1 bedroom apt. Today I got off the phone with Pepco and they said that I am not getting a discount but I am actually getting charged double of what they signed me up for. I am outraged! I immediately called Starion to find out and they claim I have been using more energy. I asked what I was being charged for then the girl had the audacity to say same thing you signed up for. What type of answer is that? This made me even more upset so I said cancel my services immediately.. She transferred me to someone else who basically told me it would go through a couple more billing cycles before it would cancel. Oh really? I promptly called Pepco back who told me they are receiving a high volume of calls about complaints from this company on how they scam people into the service and make fake badges claiming to be from Pepco when its all a lie. I want to get a lawyer involved because it has to be a crime to misrepresent yourself as being from another company for a monetary gain. I am a stay at home mom who got taken advantaged of by this company and I do not wish this on anybody else. The more who speak out the better outcome we all will have!

I have Starion, and have for the past two years. Their rates have been fantastic and their fixed rate program has lowered my bil by about $40 a month. I like them! You might want to talk to your electric utility and see why your bill is so high.
