Burt's Bees Baby

I've always been a big fan of Burt's Bees for my own skin care needs and I was super happy to find out they got stuff for babies too. They've got some of the cutest baby blankets and clothes I've seen around. Really love what this company is doing.

So I ordered some stuff from Burt's Bees Baby last Friday and chose the no-cost shipping option. It's already Thursday afternoon and my order's still not shipped out. They say on their site that they'll ship stuff within 1 to 3 business days, but that's not happening. Tried calling their customer service and got no response. I even shot them an email to ask about my order cause I need it for a baby shower that's coming up. All I got back was a generic email that didn't help at all.

I remembered my daughter bought from them before, so I asked her how it went. She showed me her order and shipping confirmations, and it turns out they took 13 days to ship her stuff! And here they are, claiming it should be 1-3 business days. It's just not right. They're not being honest with their customers and then they're not available to talk when they don't do what they said they would. I'm done with them, won't be buying anything again and I'd tell others to steer clear if you actually want your items on time.

So I got these 4 Christmas Jammies from Burt's Bees Baby back in late September. I had a coupon and got a sweet deal with 40% off and free shipping. But when they arrived, turns out two of them were too big. I figured since I was just swapping sizes for the same item, they'd help me out with keeping the same discount, right? Well, that's where things got frustrating.

Trying to get in touch with Burt's Bees Baby was like hitting a brick wall. I must've tried a bunch of times, but it was like my emails vanished into thin air – and yeah, I checked all my folders, even spam. And the few times I did get through, like with a manager who said they'd check for my size, I got ghosted. No follow-up, nothing. Here I am, waiting to match with my family for Christmas photos, and it's already the 12th. Those ads make matching seem like the best thing ever, but I'm starting to lose hope.

I kept calling their customer service, left a couple of voicemails, but didn't want to be that person who floods their inbox. Finally, someone picks up. I tell her the whole saga – been checking their site daily, finally found my size, snagged it, and now I'm just hoping they can rush it to me. I've been through enough hassle, right? But the lady on the phone? Super rude and talking down to me like my family's Christmas PJ tradition is nothing. I'm a stay-at-home mom, and I can't just throw around $40 like it's nothing, especially when I got them on sale in the first place. And why can't I just swap the unworn ones for my size?

Honestly, I'm just bummed out. We've been all about Burt's Bees since our baby came along – sleep sacks, towels, you name it. We've been loyal customers, buying their stuff from Amazon, Target, and giving it as gifts. Now I'm kicking myself for not keeping all those receipts. The customer service was just a letdown, especially from a brand that's supposed to be all about the love and care. As a new mom, this Christmas was supposed to be special, and those PJs were part of it. I just wish Burt's Bees would step up their game.
