I got a bulb from Bulb America and it stopped working in just a couple weeks. When I reached out to their customer service, they told me to send it back for a replacement. I sent the bulb back, but the new one never came. I emailed them and they said they were on it and that the bulb would be shipped the next day. But still, no bulb arrived. I called them up today only to find out it wasn't even shipped because they issued a refund instead. I wasn't looking for a refund, I needed a replacement bulb, and I thought we were clear on that. Now it's been over a month without a bulb and without being able to use my TV, so I had to place a new order for the bulb myself. If they had just told me that from the start, I would've reordered it right away.

So I ordered a bunch of stagelights from Bulb America, like over 60 bulbs. After we got them all set up in the fixtures, one of the bulbs went out in just an hour. I didn't get around to calling them till the next week to tell them what happened. While I was on the call with them, they asked for my invoice number but I was driving and couldn't give it to them. Then they asked for my name and boom, they found my order. I was wondering if I'd have to send the busted bulb back, but the lady on the phone was like, "No need to send it back, I'll ship a new one out today." I'm not the type to leave reviews much, but I had to for this. I even told her that this is the kind of service I'd expect from my usual supplier. And true to their word, I got the replacement bulb in 3 days and passed it on to my customer who was super pleased. They've definitely earned my business with that kind of service.

The bulb itself works great once you get it in. I had a bit of a tough time with the installation cause the screw holes didn't quite line up right. I was swearing a bit trying to get it in place, even had to stand on my couch to do it upside down. Here's an update, now it's been two years. The first replacement bulb lasted a whole year, same as the factory one. When it died, I got another but that one started acting up after just two weeks. So, I ordered yet another one. Just for fun, I tried the old one again and what do you know, it worked! Maybe it was the projector that was the issue, not the bulb. Maybe it just needed a reset. Anyway, I'm gonna keep buying these bulbs. I might even get another one soon, even though I don't need it right away, cause I'm thinking those tariffs on Chinese products are gonna start hitting soon, maybe in December.

Bulb America is a solid place to find bulbs that are tough to get elsewhere. I've shopped with them a couple of times for a bulb for my rear projection TV and their prices are pretty hard to beat. But, they do tack on a hefty fee for shipping, which just doesn't make sense with how most online stores do things these days. I went for the USPS 3 day priority shipping on a Friday and got an email the same day saying my order was on its way. Turns out, they'd only printed the shipping label and it hadn't actually been picked up by USPS, so it wasn't really "shipped" which felt a bit like they were pulling my leg.

Then the weekend came and went, and I get that Sunday's a day off, but I thought it would at least move on Saturday. But nope, nothing. Monday was a holiday, so okay, I can let that slide. But then come Tuesday, I check again and now USPS is saying it'll get here by Friday... that's 4 days later than expected! I mean, come on! It seems like Bulb America keeps their product prices low so they can jack up the shipping fees, and they don't seem too concerned about getting things to customers quickly. It might actually be worth paying a bit more with other online retailers when you think about it. Definitely do the math and consider how much your time and the shipping costs are worth before you decide to deal with the iffy service at this site.

Al in all everything was ok; the website can be a little confusing. For example signed up with my email to receive a discount; but never got discount. Later in day received email thanking me for signing up and gave me a code for the discount I was going to receive.

I recently bought some 4000K Copper Trim downlights from bulbamerica.com for my kitchen, but they turned out to be way too bright. Plus, one out of the four lights I got had a flickering issue when it wasn't dimmed. I decided to get the 3000K ones instead, but ordering them wasn't exactly straightforward. When the new lights came, I noticed the copper trims looked like they'd been used before, which was a bit disappointing since I paid for new ones. Anyway, the 3000K lights are just right and thankfully, there's no flickering issue with these.

I had a bit of a hassle trying to find my old account on Bulb America so I could reorder the same bulbs I always get. It took like 15 minutes and then I ended up having to make a new account, but then it said I already had one. I've been pretty happy with the service from Bulb America, but I gotta say, UPS and FEDEX seem to be the ones messing up the products during delivery. It's like every time something arrives, I'm on the phone with you guys asking for a replacement or a refund. Just the other day, I got my order and there was a broken flood light in there. It's gotten to the point where I order extra just to make sure I've got enough for my household, you know? Anyway, I'm sticking with you, Bulb America, cause when it comes down to it, you do good work and I plan to stay a loyal customer.

Bought 3 bulbs from bulbamerica.com that were supposed to be 120mm. Turned out they were a bit smaller, like under 118mm, so they didn't fit right in my light fixture. Reached out to customer service and they said I could send them back for a refund and then order the right size. But here's the thing, I'm pretty sure I ordered the 120mm ones they had listed. So now I'm wondering if they actually got bulbs that are the right size. If someone can make sure they have the real 120mm bulbs, I'd be happy to place another order. Just need that confirmation.
