My property manager doesn't fix things that need to be fixed in my apartment. They came to look at the problems a few times, but nothing was done after that. One of the burners on my stove doesn't work right and gets too hot even when it's set to low. My apartment was robbed and the smoke detectors and CO detector have been gone for a long time. I also have a window that's been broken for almost a year.

They also took an extra rent payment on November 4 by check (CK # 502) that was paid by mistake for $513.90. I moved out on November 14, but they did not return my deposit within the time required by law. I sent them a letter on Dec 12, 2019, giving them 2 days to mail me the money back, but they didn't answer. I need my money back as I waited this long since I was dealing with health issues that Laurie (property manager) put me through during my tenancy in this place. If there was a cleaning fee, it should not be more than $100, not $1113.90. They may claim I destroyed the property, but proof is needed if that is the case because they needed to give me a detailed statement.

I wanna talk about Buckingham Property Management. So, a few months ago I paid my rent for November. The manager in the office told me a few weeks later that she lost my cashiers check. She lied about it and told me to go to my bank and buy another one. I did it, but it wasn't my fault. I gave her the new cashiers check, but I haven't been reimbursed yet. I've been trying to get my money back for two months now. Then, I paid my rent for December on time, but a week later I got an eviction notice to pay rent or quit. I don't understand why because I paid my rent for both months on time. They used December's rent to cover November's because they lost my cashiers check. I had to get another one, and I still haven't been reimbursed. I've been calling corporate because there's been no management in the office at my apartments for three weeks now. It's unprofessional, and no one ever picks up the phone or calls me back. I've put in numerous complaints, and I've seen numerous complaints on the ComplaintsBoard.com website about them not answering their phone calls like they should be doing.

I put in a work order for my carpet to be replaced in two areas months ago. One area has nails sticking up by the kitchen and the other area by the laundry room needs carpet put in. These areas have been like this since I moved in. A couple of weeks ago, the company hired two vendors to come out and give an estimate on my carpet. Maintenance explained that management didn't approve the first estimate because it was too expensive, so they hired another vendor to come out and look at it. When the second vendor came out, they took a chunk of my carpet out in another area when they weren't even guaranteed the job. So now I have a third area where there are a ton of nails sticking up, which is dangerous for my children. My baby already stepped on a nail a few weeks ago, and the bottom of his heel was bleeding continuously. This is an extreme health issue, and I want it taken care of. I've asked several times for this error to be resolved, but no one gets back to me. Also, my boyfriend submitted an application three weeks ago to move in, and he has yet to hear anything back on the status of it. He has emailed the supervisor on more than one occasion, and I have emailed and called her to please get back to him on his application. I get ignored and never get a response back. By far, this is the worst management I've ever had to deal with. It's extremely frustrating, and I feel like going to fair housing. My carpet isn't acceptable like this. When is management going to start taking responsibility for things? They do NOTHING.
