Want a Return
1. Purchased 2 of these devices, found the TONER to be VERY TOXIC.
2. Computer screen keeps reading "Reload paper in T1". The paper tray is full.
Please advise re: RETURN.
Brother has been reported to Federal Bureaus in Washington, DC, waiting for responses.
When speaking to someone in the Executive Offices, the reply was, when trying to initiate a return, "WE STAND BY OUR PRODUCTS".
Thanking you in advance.
Poor product, poor customer service
Do not buy brother. I bought an all in one printer, which supposedly includes scanning. I have not been able to figure out how to scan documents into a pdf file. I looked at the manual, which said look at the CD. I looked at the CD, which said look at the website. I looked at the website, which said write us. I wrote them, and got instructions that didn't work. I have tried calling but am placed on interminable hold. Do not buy from this company.

CALLED IN TO BROTHER INTERNATIONAL FOR TECH SUPPORT FOR MY PC FAX RECEIVE NOT WORKING. I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR OVER 15 HOURS AND STILL THEY DID NOT FIX MY PC FAX RECEIVE. BROTHER MADE MY COMPUTER LOOSE MY INTERNET CONNECTION AND REFUSED TO HELP FIX IT AND REFUSED TO LET ME SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR. BROTHER BLAMED THE ISSUE ON MICROSOFT AND MY COMPUTER MFG AND SAID MY START PROGRAMS WERE BLOCKING THE PC FAX RECEIVE WHICH COULD NOT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. AFTER GETTING OFF THE PHONE WITH BROTHER, I CALLED MICROSOFT AND THEY SAID BROTHER HAD DISABLED MY PC FAX RECEIVE AND MICROSOFT UNBLOCKED MY PC FAX RECEIVE WITH IN MINUTES AND IT NOW IS WORKING WITH ALL OF MY START UP PROGRAMS RUNNING. BROTHER'S TECH SUPPORT IS UNEDUCATED AND WILL NOT HELP YOU FIX THE ISSUE AND BLAMES IT ON OTHER PEOPLE. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS ISSUE HAS HAPPEN TO MY PC FAX RECEIVE AND THE FIRST TIME BROTHER TECH SUPPORT KEPT ME ON THE PHONE 10 HOURS, CRASHED MY COMPUTER WHICH TOOK ME DAYS TO FIX AND THEY WOULD NOT HELP ME ON THIS ISSUE EITHER. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS . BROTHER'S CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL NOT AND CAN NOT FIX THE ISSUES BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCT UNLESS YOU WANT A REAL NIGHTMARE
If Brother tech support doesn't make you 100% satisfied, e-mail all the executives to get their attention:

I totally agree, never ever to buy another Brother product. I have bought fax, printer and sewing machines from Brother...they lasted only a few months. After that, it is nightmares all the way till I finally get rid of them. The secondhand stores refuse to take them and even considered them 'no-value' items. The fax and printer cartridges and inks are costly, not to mention cumbersome as well. Paper jams and ink errors are a nightmare to fix and often takes a few days without improvements. Same goes for the sewing machine..noisy, skipped stitches, thread and fabric jam, crooked feed and unstable needle penetration. It's a worst nightmare when you need to complete many high quality projects in a short time (resorting to my hand stitching is better and faster...no joke!) Brother service is another horrible experience, rude and errogant promoters (some don't even have the knowledge of the product they are supposed to promote), slow feedback on spare parts (took a few weeks), waiting for hours to be served. The staff never smiled or said 'thank you'. I spent nearly $3000 in the past on Brother products...enough is enough, they do not deserve the investment.
I totally agree. I have purchased brother fax, printer and sewing machine (not cheap)...nightmares after only a few months of use. The fax machine ran out of ink easily, cartridges are very expensive...printer paper jam, ink error, cannot initiate, etc...sewing machine stitches skipped, thread jammed, crooked feeding, weak needle penatration, noisy, etc.
I swear I will never ever buy another product from Brother again, not even a screw driver... it may not even fit. The service is horrible, took months to reply on spare parts and always redirected problem to some other department or someone else. The promoters are not well trained and absolutely non-customer oriented, rude and often have poor attitudes in their jobs. They can't even smile, or say 'thank you'. They expect customers to 'cow-tow' to them and wait for hours on end to be served.
