I was charged for Dri Bromalite in the amount of $69.99 for which I did not give consent to. I cannot get in touch with the company as no one answers the phone number my bank provided me with.
I too am having a hard time with this "company"..
I finally stopped my Credit Card, but afraid it was too late as almost $100 has been charged to my CC. I am having a hard time contacting the company, calling, calling...will start again today. They also sent me three bottles and I did not realize the ACI Berry was a part of this company and been charged for this one also. What a rip off and I feel so stupid for being taken!..somebody needs to put this company out of business and take them to court.

I CAN'T believe I missed the fine print. The company pisses me off b/c at every step, they try to mislead you. First, the "risk free advertisement" without any warning that you would be enrolled automatically into two different programs (Bromalite & then FitFactory). Second, when I called to cancel the Bromalite program, after waiting forever, the rep tried to tell me that I needed to call a different number (FitFactory) instead of helping me to cancel the Bromalite trial/program. I had to repeatedly tell her that I know that I also need to call FitFactory to cancel my inadvertant enrollment there but that I also wanted to go ahead and cancel my Bromalite. She tried to make it sound like I was not automatically enrolled into the Bromalite program but that I just needed to call to see whether I liked the program AFTER the product arrives.
Just be sure to ask them for a cancellation verification number as well as their name and Rep ID.
Good luck!

I feel like such an idiot! I always tell my children to read all the fine print, and if it sounds too good to be true it most likely is! It took me most of the morning (3 hrs.) to cancel with the Bromalite co. (for Accai Power Tea and DRI* Bromalite cleanser). Then I had to call a different number to cancel this "Fit Factory" that i didn't even know i was signed up for... I can't get the charges reversed through my bank because the print was there. AAARRGGHHH! $215.00 it cost me for this mistake.! I wonder if Opra knows they are using her show on this product to advertise their scam! Shame on them! Or should i say shame on me for falling for it!

I called the company and canceled my continuation of the product once it was shipped and no problem. Remember it's a trial, so ALWAYS Call once the product is shipped and cancel the automatic charge. I like the product and would like to order at my leisure not on an automatic basis, that is ludicrous!

I also purchased this product and didn't realize that I was automatically signed up for monthly auto shipments until I got my 2nd bottle in the mail. If it wasn't for this post I would have no idea how to contact these scam artists. I called the number above and was on hold for about 40 minutes. I was about to hang up and dispute the charge to my credit card when they answered.
Just to let you know the product Colontox does the same thing. They advertise $1.00 trial bottle of their product but they have some other products checked on the order page so if don't catch it they send you addtional products you didn't order or want for full price. They provide a an 800 number but never answer, a recording just keeps saying the wait time on the call is 45 minutes or better. I tried to call them immediately after I ordered and spent several hours on the phone trying to reach them to stop the order and sent an email, they never contacted me. I finally called my bank and disputed the charge. A week later I got their merchandise and did a return to sender, did not order as my bank suggested.
What a bunch of sleazy scam artists.

I have spent several hours on hold waiting for a responce. I called the fit factory number and got through to cancel that subscription. If I had read further, it was a continuing charge I never would have agreed. Always in a rush I guess. The fit factory would not give the address for bromalite. As soon as I questioned them about bromalite they repeated the same phone number.
Finally after waitng I got through to bromalite. They would not give me a confirmation number. The responce was the agents code number. Hopefully we will be rid of this company.

You cannot call it a scam. You need to read what the website says. You have so many days to cancel the full program or you'll be charged. Its not misleading, its not a scam. Its about taking the time to read things thoroughly. Ever heard of things too good to be true? Unfortunately, this is one of them.
Now not being able to cancel your order as they want you to do so you're not charged, is a scam. Report that. Not what is charged to your CC because you didn't take the time to read everything.

Report these people to your state attorney general. They make it nearly impossible to cancel the future billing for Bromalite and expect you to wait one to two billing cycles for a refund for a supposed FREE TRIAL. Don't forget they also signed you up automatically for FitFactory whether you asked them to or not and to CANCEL you have to call a DIFFERENT telelephone number that you can never get through to !

Yeah, I got suckered too. I called to cancel because I noticed that my free trial also ordered some "power tea" product. So I called to cancel my order and the representative said I would be refunded in 2 to 6 weeks.
Anyways, I cannot call it a scam because the fine print is there. It's just very misleading. That's not a good way to keep customers and/or grow a business.
I should have known better.
Count your losses and I suggest anyone who has purchased anything from this company cancel their credit card/debit card immediately.

I also fell for the scam. The problem was that I really liked the product. I felt that it did what it promised to do. However when I went to the website to see how I could order the product and discovered how expensive it was and that they were going to automatically charge my card for future deliveries, I tried to call the numbers provided, to cancel any future orders and the Acai number gave a recorded message saying that the number was not an active number, and the bromalite number just rang and rang and no one ever answered. I ended up calling my bank and closing my debit card and blocking all further purchases.
Since I did like the product, I ended up going into a Hi-Health store and asked them if they had anything that was comparable to the Acai berry product. It turns out they they carry the product in their store and it was way less expensive than what was being charged on the Acai website. I can't believe that a company that has such an amazing product, feels the need to scam people in order to sell the product. It doesn't make any sense to me. But in my opinion it is the company that I wouldn't do business with, but the product itself, I will just make my purchases from reputable companies instead.

I also signed up for a free trial of Bromalite, and unfortunately came across all of the complaints AFTER I placed my order. I'm planning on canceling my debit card on Monday morning, as it seems no one can reach a live person at the company's phone number. However, I did find the information below on how to cancel the subscription. The number provided is different than the one above, so maybe you guys can reach the company through this number. Hope this helps. Good luck.
"By agreeing to the terms of the Agreement, customer automatically receives 14-day trial to the Program. customer has 14 days to try the Program and decide whether to accept the Program full-time. Prior to the expiration of the 14-day trial period, customer may cancel its subscription by calling Bromalite’s toll-free number at [protected] or writing to Bromalite, 16192 Coastal Highway Lewes, DE 19958. Should customer fail to cancel its subscription, its Subscription with Bromalite will become active and customer will be billed $69.95 on the 16th day after its trial begins and every month thereafter. If customer’s payment is not submitted either by credit card or check within 30 days of the due date, customer’s Bromalite Supply will be suspended. If customer wishes to cancel and not be billed, customer must call [protected] or write to Bromalite, 16192 Coastal Highway Lewes, DE 19958. customer also agrees to monthly billing. customer expressly agrees to honor all charges and fees due. I also understand that I will enjoy a monthly membership to FitFactory where i can track my weight loss and get diet advice for a monthly fee of $19.95 per month billed on the fifteenth day unless I cancell by calling [protected]."

Hi Everyone:
Unfortunately I fell for the same scam and only noticed the additional charges amounting to $200.00 on my credit card a few days ago.
I called my credit card company immediately and reported the fraud, they credited my card and canceled my card so that the charges could stop and also are investigating this merchant.
Shame on Parmalab for such a sneaky underhanded means of scamming the public. Like others, I tried their contact numbers and even their website, to air my complaints, not surprisingly, nothing was working!
As for the product, well if you can't trust the merchant, you sure as heck can't trust the product. I have stopped using it!
I've learned my lesson...caveat emptor!

I'm having the same problem with the phone number. What I did was call my bank and dispute the charges. I also put a stop payment on any further charges that they might try to charge to my account. This way I did not have to cancel my card.

I am agreeing, this looks like a scam. When you are signing up for the free trial, you need to really pay attention. At one point during the sign up phase, the page comes up and a box is already checked that you would like to purchase an extra product in addition to your free supply request, so you will need to uncheck that box before continuing. Then if you read the fine print at the bottom you will find that you are signing up for a monthly shipment unless you call within 14 days to cancel it. They make a point to spell out the 69.95 (sixty nine dollars and ninety five cents ) so it doesn't pop out at you, which I think is very shady. Reading further reveals that you are also subscribing to a monthly magazine for an extra fee of nineteen nintey five per month (again spelled out instead of in numerical form) unless you call a different number to cancel that as well. Like mentioned in the above comments, the number they list for you to call and cancel is just a line to put you endlessly on hold.
This has SCAM written all over it!
