Brittany Ferries – The pet cabin had fleas and smelt of urine

We sailed from Plymouth to Roscoff on 17/06/2025 arriving on the eighteenth June on the Pont Aven. My name is Gary Venning and I booked a pet cabin 6488. The room did not smell clean: in fact there was an unpleasant dog urine tint. I had a terrible nights sleep and it wasn’t until I was in my vehicle that I discovered that I had both a flea bite and a dead flea on me. I spend a great deal of time and effort ensuring that my dog is flea free: he always has a flea collar in situ and always well in date. Brittany Ferries should ensure that no owners can book their cabins without their pets having proof of treatment.
