BPerx I started receiving Wine Spectator Magazine in the mail with my own name and address on it

I started receiving Wine Spectator Magazine in the mail with my own name and address on it. When I complained to them, I was directed to a company named SubCo who apparently put the subscription in my name. When I called them, they said it was a company named BPerx who did it, and got my information from "ecommerce websites" but wouldn't tell me who or how. I don't even drink wine and I never gave any company permission to use my information to sign me up for goods and services. This is an invasion of my privacy and my personal information. I want my name, address, email and phone number removed from your lists and I want to know exactly where you got my information, because I sure as hell never gave anyone permission to give it to you or use it in this way.

I've been contacted by this company without ever having reached out to them, telling me that I've somehow been given a gift of 10 issues of a magazine. I've never asked for anything, never gave them my info or requested any solicitation from them. I don't even know how they got my information. I want to be removed from any form of solicitation from them and want to be left alone. Don't send me any magazines, I don't want any promotional mail sent to my address, I just want them to leave me alone.

I received an email from bPerx on Oct 1 2022 confirming my gift card redemption ( gift code *** ) for Runners World magazine subscription. I never had a gift card, never ordered any magazines and never even heard of this company. The same day I received a second email from the same company calling me a VIP and welcoming me to the " team " and telling me to choose another gift. I do not want any of their "gifts" and I do not want to be billed for any of them now or in the future and I want to be removed from all of their mailing lists immediately.

I have been receiving unsolicited emails from *** about alleged membership as a "VIP" in order to get perks. One of these is a subscription to a magazine. I have never initiated any contact with this company and want nothing to do with them. I also do not want any magazine subscriptions. Today a copy of GQ arrived that I did not request. I want to be removed from any mailings and solicitations from Bperx.com and resent them sending me magazine subscriptions I did not ask for. I see a rather long list of complainants on your website with exactly the same type of problem - sometimes it is unsolicited gift cards, sometimes it is magazines - but all of them are unrequested and unwanted. Surely something can be done with the company to stop this kind of uninvited intrusion. Thank you.

BPerx On 09/21/2022, I received a letter from BPerx

On 09/21/2022, I received a letter from BPerx. This letter Falsely stating I chose a gift for Garden and Gun Magazine. I did not sign up for anything from BPerx. I as others can not understand how the Complaintsboard.com allows this company to maintain an A+ rating when they have such a volume of complaints. Especially when it is obvious that they are potentially using deceptive practices to lure customers to their business. BPerx uses a canned form response to each of these complaints. I am filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and encourage others to do so. I will not accept the form response from BPerx until I am removed from their mailing list and am guaranteed that BPerx will not sell, distribute or use any other method to disseminate my information, ie email address or any other information that BPerx has on me.

Customers can rely on BPerx's services, assured they're dealing with a highly reputable and fully legitimate company.

BPerx earns a trustworthiness rating of 100%

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

We found clear and detailed contact information for BPerx. The company provides a physical address, phone number, and 2 emails, as well as 2 social media accounts. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and transparency, which is a positive sign for building trust with customers.

Bperx.com has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.

Bperx.com has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.

The BPerx website has a cookie consent banner indicating the use of cookies for data collection. Reviewing the privacy policy and terms of use is crucial to understanding how the data is used and ensuring compliance with regulations.

We looked up BPerx and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information

Bperx.com regularly updates its policies to reflect changes in laws, regulations. These policies are easy to find and understand, and they are written in plain language that is accessible to all customers. This helps customers understand what they are agreeing to and what to expect from BPerx.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

  • BPerx protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.

BPerx Twice in the last 5 months, bPerx has signed us up for online magazine subscriptions without permission

Twice in the last 5 months, bPerx has signed us up for online magazine subscriptions without permission. The first time was August 21. At that time I communicated with Ariel (help) and I instructed bPerx to "cease and desist using my email address for any commercial purpose other than to communicate with me about how to cancel these activities." Today, January 4, 2022, bPerx has done it again. They have signed us up for magazine subscriptions using my email address, again without permission. They ignored my prior instruction to cease and desist using my email address. Having failed in my attempt to resolve this directly with bPerx, I ask the Complaintsboard.com to intervene and work with bPerx to ensure that they never again use my email address to sign us up for any type of subscription, promotion, marketing communication, offer, etc.

On June 28th I received an email from *** at bPerx stating that I had chosen a gift for 12 issues of a magazine called Travel and Leisure. I have never applied nor chose any such gift. I would like to have this company investigated and also have all of my personal information and any other information permanently removed from their data bases. I would also like them to unsubscribe me from any mailings or emails. I feel that this is a fraudulent company trying to scam individuals into purchasing items they do not want. Any help from the Complaintsboard.com will be appreciated. Thank you

Same as everyone else. Do not appreciate being told I selected a subscription when I have not. I find it laughable that the Complaintsboard.com maintains an A+ rating for a company that uses such an offensive technique. Both groups should be ashamed. I do not want any items, associated with this company, sent to me.

BPerx Received now multiple emails within the last 12 months from BPerx

Received now multiple emails within the last 12 months from BPerx. First were emails to confirm my account, an account I did not sign up for. Second, were emails congratulating me on my account, which again, I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR. I will not call or contact this company to unsubscribe because I have no other communication with them. (Such as emails that I save when SIGNING UP for any company so I have them for reference) Did not report at first but, in the month of May and continuing now through June, I am tired of receiving suspicious emails from a so called account I set up. Or as others have stated from their responses, I 'earned' a free subscription to XYZ magazine. No thank you. This should be considered invasive and malicious at this point with all the complaints filed! I urge you to change their rating to the lowest possible rating.

BPerx There was no transaction, I received an email yesterday saying I was signed up for 22 Copies of vogue magazine under the email ***@gmail

There was no transaction, I received an email yesterday saying I was signed up for 22 Copies of vogue magazine under the email ***@gmail.com my spam filter caught this email and I made a support request with the company, They wouldn't tell me how the order was made but said they put me on a do not mail list so I let it go, However, I woke up to more emails from them which have been included in the screenshot My goal from this complaint is to get a response from Bperx, about why the order was made in the first place (Which I'm assuming was a promotional thing again) and to be put on a do not mail list, after which, I'll be satisfied. After calling the company I found out they had the wrong address for me so I'm assuming they "Got" my information from buying it online but I'm not worried about that, just want a response as to why the order happened.

BPerx I received a post card around a week ago from Popular Mechanics magazine stating that the last delivery will be March/April and to enter

I received a post card around a week ago from Popular Mechanics magazine stating that the last delivery will be March/April and to enter the code# to select a magazine of my choice or obtain a refund for unserved issues at website hberx.com. To the best of my knowledge I did not requested this magazine to begin with. I called the phone number on the card at , but no one answered the phone and the only choice was to enter the code to continue with any services or leave a message. I reviewed online complaint boards regarding Popular Mechanics ignoring others with the very same issues and they were sending unpaid past due billing to other customers. With great hesitation I did leave a phone number and a message instructing that I do not have a contract with them and do not consent to any business with them. I had a same problem previously where a magazine company continued to send magazine and then back billed for hundreds of dollars until I finally negotiated with them. I do not want the same to occur and want Popular Mechanics to cease and desist from any auto-renewal plan they they may concoct with a different magazine and then try to back-bill me.
