I've been trading for a long time, since way back in 1984. But in early 2023, I decided to switch things up and become an investor instead. And let me tell you, I wouldn't be able to do it without VectorVest. I've been using this tool exclusively since the '90s, and I wouldn't buy or sell stocks or options without doing my VV homework first.

Now, I know some people might not get the results they were expecting with VectorVest. But I think that's more of a user error than a problem with the product itself. I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the tech support over at VectorVest. I mean, I get it, they're probably dealing with a lot of calls and stuff, but come on. These guys are supposed to be experts on the software, and they couldn't even help me with a simple problem.

First of all, the people they have manning the phones are just glorified phone operators. They don't know anything about VectorVest, and they certainly don't know how to fix any problems you might be having. And if you do have a real issue, forget about getting any real help. They'll just tell you to shut down and restart your computer a bunch of times, and if that doesn't work, they'll tell you to try again tomorrow. I mean, seriously? That's the best they can do?

And don't even get me started on the stock information. If there's something wrong with the software, they'll just tell you they don't know anything about it and they're not interested in fixing it. I mean, what kind of customer service is that?

Overall, I'd say that if you're looking for a reliable and helpful tech support team, you might want to look elsewhere. VectorVest just doesn't seem to have their act together when it comes to customer service.

That's when I stumbled upon some alarming information on Trust Pilot. Apparently, VectorVest does not allow cancellations via email or online. You have to call them, and when you do, you'll be met with a desperate salesperson who will try to convince you to stay on. On top of that, the options trading software they offer after the course costs $295 per month, and according to some reviews, it's buggy and unreliable.

To make matters worse, customer service seems to be non-existent unless you post a negative review on Trust Pilot. That's not exactly reassuring.

I'm writing this review to warn other potential customers to do their homework before falling for VectorVest's sleazy sales tactics. I almost made the mistake of buying their course, but I'm glad I did my research first.

So I went ahead and signed up for the VectorVest 30 day trial. Unfortunately, I never got the log in details to get started even after I sent them a few emails requesting for it. I was disappointed but at least they did grant me access after the 30 day period. When I signed up, I thought this would be a good deal, but it was a complete waste of time. I decided to cancel the service the moment I got access, but no matter how many emails I sent, I received no response.

It is frustrating because, as a customer, it's important to get a response from the company especially when you want to stop using their services. Finally, I was able to speak with someone who was so rude and unprofessional. The man was condescending and verbally abusive, treating me like a complete idiot. I do not recommend this company. They are total scammers who care more about money than their customers. I have reported them to the authorities and I am disputing all the charges they have done on my credit card.

In conclusion, it's not worth investing your time or money in a company like VectorVest. They don't have any respect for their customers and their services are completely substandard. You are better off finding a different way to invest.

I'm a big fan of Vectorvest. Haven't been on board for a while, but I find that once you set your trading strategy, you start making those sweet gains in no time. I personally use Munger's style of "Value Investing". It's pretty simple. I look at what a company is worth, and then I compare that to what the shares are valued at. When you do this, you will notice that the actual value of the stock tends drift towards the company’s true worth eventually. That's where Vectorvest comes in handy. It gives me all the necessary valuation and math tools to help me make better decisions.

I've done well with Vectorvest. I use a simple approach of identifying shares based on valuation, then use Vectorvest’s VST (Value, Safety, Timing) to help me decide whether to buy or sell. I have found this to be a pretty successful strategy over the years. I'm not saying I'm making a killing here, but I’ve pulled in around 30% per year using Vectorvest.

An example of my trading strategy in action is that I identified Gold and purchased shares. After a while, I realized it was time to move on to something else, and I sold the Gold shares. I noticed then that Iron Ore was starting to pick up, so I purchased shares. Later on, Vectorvest’s VST tool told me it was time to get out, and sure enough it was. That was when Fortescue started to sell, so I got rid of it.

Vectorvest is just awesome when combined with a solid trading strategy. All in all, I highly recommend Vectorvest. You will appreciate the ease with which you can set up your trading strategy, and the tools Vectorvest provides to help you achieve your trading goals.

I had a hard time integrating VectorVest with other trading tools I wanted to use. It just didn't seem to work well with them. So I decided to cancel my subscription. But let me tell you, that was a hassle in itself!

First, I had to wait on the phone for like 15 minutes just to talk to someone. Then they offered me training which I didn't want. And then they tried to convince me to subscribe to other VectorVest products when I didn't even like the one I was using! It was like they didn't want to let me go.

And to top it off, they charged my credit card for another month without my permission!

And to make matters worse, they don't offer refunds.

So unless you know exactly what you're doing and you love this platform for some reason, stay away from VectorVest. It's just not worth the frustration.

I made sure that the cancellation was effective at the end of the month, but the jerks over at VectorVest decided to bill me for another month anyway. And get this: when I called 'em back and told 'em what was up, they refused to refund me the $167.00 they charged me! What a bunch of baloney, amirite?

Honestly, the only thing that VectorVest has that you can't get in other places like the Think or Swim platform is the derby and the robo trader. Otherwise, it's really not worth it. Save your money, folks.

I been using VectorVest for over 10 years now and I gotta say, I'm happy wit 'em. They got some educational classes an' I took a few of 'em. Ain't never been disappointed wit' what they was teachin'. The platform itself is pretty dang conservative but you can make it how you wanna. Ain't never had no problems wit' anything there.

Back in '16, I took this class called Paycheck an' they taught me all 'bout Spread Trading. Let me tell ya, it was downright IMPRESSIVE. I did a spread trading course way before that but it wasn't nothin' compared to this. They went deep on all the details an' made sure I was trained up all the way.

I did some tradin' using what they taught me an' let me tell ya, I pocketed over $110,000 in the next year just tradin' SPX. All I was willin' to risk at one time was $20K an' I made a buncha cash. Now, I lost $30K of that $110K 'cause I didn't follow the plan but that was on me.

The instructor's name was Ron. If you ever get the chance to learn from him, I'd say do it. He knows his stuff an' I'm happy to have learned from him. VectorVest is a great resource an' I recommend 'em to anyone who wants to learn more 'bout tradin'.

Got me all fired up to let you all know about my experience with VectorVest. So, I recently got my Visa bill and I'll tell you what, it wasn't a pleasant sight. Apparently, I got charged $895 for an annual renewal with VectorVest. And let me be clear, I stopped using VectorVest almost 7 months ago because it just wasn't working out for me.

So, naturally, I give their Customer Service a call and what do they tell me? They say, "Well, you agreed to auto renewal in the sign-up process a year ago." To which I said, "Okay, I get that, but wouldn't it make sense to give a notice before they auto renew something that cost almost a grand?" And guess what they said? "Nope, not obligated to provide notice."

Like seriously? I never agreed to that, and I'm starting to see how they try and squeeze some extra cash out of their customers. Then, they tell me they would prorate a refund but add an additional 4% fee. And because the Visa posting process takes some time, the bill for the prorated time and the 4% penalty together amounts to a whopping $185.

Now, I don't know about you, but that's just plain robbery. I haven't used this service in months and didn't find it to be very helpful when I did use it. And they have the nerve to charge nearly $200 for something I don't even want anymore? Save your money, people. Don't fall for the VectorVest trap.

I've been using VectorVest for a good few years now, but I'm going to stop using it because I've discovered that it's not as reliable as I thought. I checked their data against another source (MSN.com) and there were some pretty big discrepancies. When I spoke to VectorVest's support team, I was surprised to learn that they don't actually report earnings, just estimates of earnings. Even after the quarterly earnings reports come out, if their estimate was wrong, they'll still keep the estimate data in their history.

To give you an example, if you compare Facebook's data from July 2019 to June 2020, VectorVest shows revenue increasing steadily month by month, whereas MSN shows that revenue actually peaked in December 2019. What's more, earnings according to VectorVest stuttered for the first three months, but then went steadily upwards from then on. However, MSN shows that earnings peaked in December and never recovered to the earlier level.

I really wish VectorVest would be more upfront about the fact that they only provide estimates of earnings, rather than accurate reports. It's not just the discrepancy between their data and MSN's that's worrying, but also the fact that they don't adjust their estimates to reflect actual earnings data when it's released. It's really important for investors to have access to accurate data, and unfortunately VectorVest just doesn't cut it. I'm going to be looking for a more reliable source of financial data going forward.

This here platform is just top-notch, mate. It's got some real strong tools and daily commentary, which can be a real support to your trading if you're serious about it. I reckon the best thing about it is their weekday post-market update, it's ace. They break it all down and analyze the day's events and what effect it all had on the market. And they give you a proper insight into when's the right time to get in or get out. I've been using it for a fair few years now, 8 or 9 maybe, and I even taught a couple of classes on it. It's that good. I also went to a group and it was all about helping people understand how to use the platform to its full potential and build strategies and such. It's the best charting system I've ever come across, no doubt about that. Now, I've been doing this trading and investing thing for nigh on 40 years, and I wish I'd got on board with VectorVest from the get-go. My investing success has been epic, but this platform has taken it to the next level.

I gotta tell ya, I been usin' VectorVest for a hot minute now, and I gotta say, it ain't all sunshine and rainbows. I done taught lotsa folks how to use it, but they all keep tellin' me the same thing - the back tests don't match up with the real world results. And I been seein' it too, ain't no way the results match up the way they supposed to.
So, I decide to take matters into my own hands and do some investigating. And wouldn't ya know it, I found out that the trade sizes ain't matchin' up with the settings used in the back tests. So, I do some more diggin', and what do I find? A whole mess of other problems with the back tester.
So, I reach out to VectorVest to let 'em know what I done found out, but they don't wanna hear it. They just ignore me and pretend like ain't nothin' wrong. I can't be supportin' a company that don't take their own products seriously, so I ended my subscription and stopped teachin' people how to use it.

Lastly, I found out that this webinar was just a recording of a previous webinar with the same name. So, it's not even like they put in any effort to make it fresh or new.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with VectorVest and this webinar. I don't think I'll be investing any money with them anytime soon.
