I went to purchase a *** from Boch and we negotiated a price. When I was speaking to the finance manager they went down a list of things that usually came with used vehicles like "paint sealant and carpet protection". No prices were ever discussed and because of that I was under the impression that there was no additional fee. It wasn't until I got home that I realized I had paid an additional $1400 for that service, so I went back to Boch Toyota the next day to talk about this. The finance manager said it would be easy to give a refund because the service department never even applied the sealant that I paid for in the first place! It makes me wonder how many other people have had this done to them. So at this point I also decided to cancel the extended warranty which was valued at a little over $3,000. The finance manager said it would take about 2-4 weeks because another company handles that. A month and a half went by and I tried tirelessly to get in touch with any...

The finance manager said it would take about 2-4 weeks because another company handles that. A month and a half went by and I tried tirelessly to get in touch with anyone that could help. I called approximately 75-100 times, only to be sent to voicemail. I sent numerous emails with unhelpful or no responses. I purchased this vehicle around February 1st, so it is now 4 months later and I still dont have my refund check. The company that was contracted for the extended warranty said they issued a refund check to Boch on March 3rd. I have been paying interest on this money because Boch cares more about selling cars customers, than dealing with the people who have already given them their money.

When using my credit card for service on March 10, I did not notice the additional charge of $ 22.65 which after checking my credit account statement is a charge that is 3% of my bill. This charge is a merchant charge that is the cost to the business not the customer and there is a law in *** against charging this to the customer. I called Boch Service Dept. and was informed that there was nothing that they could do and was the automotive group's rule to charge this to the customer. I was never informed that they had started to do this. I have been a customer of Boch Toyota for over 22 years and there has never been anything like this in the past.

Dear ComplaintsBoard.com, I bought an extended warranty in the amount of $1495.00 when I purchased my Camry at Boch Toyota, located on ***, ***, on July 31. I canceled the extended warranty on September 15, within the 90 day grace period. The finance manager, who canceled the contract for me, said it would take 6-8 weeks for the refund to go back to the lienholder. I reached out to the extended warranty vendor on January 17 to learn that Boch hasn't submitted the cancellation paper for them to cancel the contract. I had to email the extended warranty company to show them proof that it was canceled in September . The extended warranty company cancelled the contract on January 21 and sent the check to Boch. I have to wait another 6-8 weeks for Boch to send the refund to the lienholder. This is a terrible way to do business. I shouldn't have to wait another 6-8 weeks for an error made by Boch Finance Manager. I have to pay for interest with the lienholder on the current amount. I request for Boch to refund the amount immediately to the lienholder and the interest accrured. Thank you for your attention in this matter

In 2016 I purchased a brand new vehicle from Boch Toyota ***, and added GAP insurance as well as Tire & Wheel protection at the time of purchase. I sold the vehicle in June this year and notified Boch Toyota, so they would refund me the unused portion for both plans. While Boch Toyota has sent me a refund check for the Tire & Wheel protection, they are withholding the GAP insurance portion. The GAP insurance provider has confirmed that they sent the funds to Boch Toyota and that the check was cashed by the dealership on July 22. Boch Toyota has ignored all my attempts to contact them and get this resolved. I have even opened a complaint with *** Customer Service but to no avail so far.

On Sunday August 11th I met with *** to discuss trading in a vehicle that has a loan that is jointly in me and my ex's name. I was up front about this and brought a signed and notarized letter stating that I could trade in the vehicle. We looked at and tested a few vehicles. I settled on a lease for a 2020 Corolla. When I went to sign the paperwork the paperwork had been switched to a different and more expensive Corolla and the payments were higher. I had already told them my budget of about $300 a month and they couldn't do better than $320, but when the paperwork was in front of me it was for $350. When I brought that to their attention they were visibly annoyed that I challenged the paperwork. He had thrown out the previous contract. Also the sales associate kept my keys to my current vehicle and did not give them back until I was meeting with finance After receiving the correct paperwork I signed that and met with *** in finance. He stated that he would need to ...

My wife and i applied for financing for the purchase of a vehicle from Boch Toyota on 06/06, we were supposed to take delivery of the vehicle 06/09, when we arrived at the dealership on 06/09 we were informed that the title to the vehicle was missing. As i think back to 6/05 i remember the sales rep and the financial rep asking around for the title, on 06/08 we were told we were approved so we brought in the down payment and signed the papers the finance rep never informed us that the title was missing she told us that the vehicle will be ready for delivery 06/09. We arrived to pick up our car and were told the title was misplaced by a previous finance rep. This is unacceptable we are getting ready to make our first payment on a vehicle that is not in our possession. i was told to contact the dealership today 06/22 for an update but all i got was a voicemail and no response

I purchased a new vehicle (on May 16) through Boch Toyota and prior to picking up the new vehicle, multiple employees at Boch told me that they work closely with the rental company and I could drop off the rental with them and they would have it returned promptly to the rental company. I dropped off my rental, was assured there was nothing I needed to do and that it was all taken care of, and picked up my new car. On May 21st I received a phone call from the rental car company informing me about the damage left on my rental, which was not returned to the rental company until May 20th. I went to Boch Toyota regarding this situation, and reviewed surveillance footage which showed my car sitting out front until May 18th and at that point a sales person moved it "out back" although it was moved to an area of the lot where security cameras did not cover. Toyota refused to claim responsibility for this situation. I received a bill for $1,044.67. On July 13th I went to Boch Toyota with my father and we spoke with the sales director who assured us that I would not be responsible for the bill. He stated that even if the rental company denied responsibility, Boch Toyota would withdraw business with them and that Boch Toyota would pay the entirety of the bill. The sales director reiterated several times that we had nothing to worry about, and the bill would be taken care of either way. I hadn't heard any updates so I reached out to the sales director on July 25 via email asking for an update, because the bill is due at the end of the month. He informed me that the rental company was not claiming responsibility and that he was sorry but he tried. He then suggested I call the rental companies Corporate office to address this with higher ups. Both the sales director and general manager of Boch Toyota in *** denied responsibility and refuse to pay the entirety of the $1,044.67 bill even though the sales director promised my father and I multiple times that this situation would be completely rectified and we had nothing to worry about.

Boch Toyota In June this year, I purchased a used 2016 Toyota RAV4 from Boch Toyota in ***

In June this year, I purchased a used 2016 Toyota RAV4 from Boch Toyota in ***. I have bought several vehicles from the BOCH Honda dealership next door and figured that the Toyota one would be just as reliable as they have been. However, the vehicle that I was sold by *** proved to have a very dangerous flaw in the rear passenger's side tire. My tire pressure gauge had been coming on intermittently (and had subsequently went undetected by their safety inspection prior to purchase). Once I took the vehicle to my personal mechanic on 12/6 he discovered that the rear passenger's side tire had been plugged prior to my purchase and was on the verge of blowing out at any time. He advised me to contact the dealership immediately as this is a major safety issue and they should offer some type of restitution or at least be made aware of the quality assurance error that was made by them. This is extremely concerning to me since I have a young family and could have possibly gotten into a very dangerous accident had this not been fixed. I attempted to contact them by phone on five different occasions and left three messages at the dealership to alert them to this terrible error they had made and no one called me back. This afternoon, I was finally able to get a customer service manager by the name of *** on the phone regarding my concern with this negligence. He responded by not offering any type of apology to me and seemed to minimize the error they had made in plugging the tire as "standard operating procedure" at their dealership. He had a discussion with the sales manager to see if they would be able to do anything for me to make up for this egregious error and later called me back to state they would not do anything to reimburse me or even give me any type of credit for a future service. I also purchased an extended warranty for the vehicle when I originally bought it back in June that they state would not cover this pre-existing issue. I am very upset with the negligence of Boch Toyota, their terrible follow-up and communication with me as well as them brushing aside my complaint seemingly stating that this "is a common occurrence". This should NEVER be a common occurrence and I believe their management should be held accountable for this unacceptable mistake that caused me to almost have a tire blow out, possibly causing a fatal accident with my family in this vehicle. This represents terrible customer service and a major safety hazard.
