I have been donating over a year. It seems when you get into the higher money, then something goes wrong. I don't have high blood pressure no where near it, but your readings are so high that I have to sit out 5 minutes and try again. I went to my doctor to get medicine for anxiety to calm my nerves down ( only need it for donation). It works some of the time. My complaint this time is that my blood pressure reading was over by 2 so I couldn't donate. This was my second one for the week. I had to reschedule but could only do it on Saturday as I had a funeral on Friday. Well to reschedule for the next week, I could have my first on Tuesday which is when I go but couldn't do my second one till Friday or Saturday. I thought it had to be two days between and not more than 2 donations a week. I can't go on Friday or Saturdays that's why I go on Tues. and Thurs. Well I'm in the platinum bracket so I'm out $70.00 for this week. I shouldn't be punished because your readings are too high. I want to continue to give because it is helping someone that needs it, but I'm sick of being penalized for this. The medicine makes me loopy and I'm very tired the rest of the day. It's really making me mad that I can't donate on Thursday again. I think you need to reevaluate your rules and make it simpler for the donor. I'm not blaming the facility for this, it's your rules.
