BioLife Plasma Services - Compensation

A coupon was applied for $400 on first two donations. I received $200 on the first one on 09/28/2020. I came in for the 2nd appt. on 09/30 and was told my vein needed to heal longer. I scheduled for 10/12 and informed them of my coupon stipulating a 14 day period. I was told by the nurse that the 12th is within the 14 days and would be honored. I had a successful donation on 10/12 and that evening noticed I had only been compensated twenty dollars. I emailed then called the next morning and was told at first that I would be compensated on the second and third donation. When I told her the coupon stated first and second and I had already received the first one, she then said you will be compensated on the 2nd one. I told her that was my second one. She then told me it expired, and I then informed her of what was told to me by the nurse and what is stipulated in the coupon and I was within the time limit. I was then told they have to contact supervisor. No contact made to me as of yet concerning this.

BioLife Plasma Services - horrible and uninformative customer service!

Recently I activated my account with biolife plasma services via the mobile app. I made an appointment for my first visit on monday december 17, 2018. I checked the mobile app for all the resources/ documentation I needed to bring with me.
No where on the app was there any information about what would need to be provided if you had previously donated and now had a different name (in my case due to being divorce and remarried). I had not been to a plasma donation center since 2010. During that time I did not even donate because I had gotten a tattoo with the time frame and was not allowed.
Monday I arrived at the fond du lac biolife plasma donation building at 11:00am for a 11:15am appointment. I brought my driver's license, social security card, electric and water bills. The woman at the counter told me that they could not process me because my name had changed from my previous married name to my current married name. She informed me that I would need to reschedule and bring my marriage certificate. I was disappointed but agreed and rescheduled for wednesday december 19, 2018 (today) at 6:15am. Before I left I asked if she was sure that was all I needed and her response was "absolutely, you'll be good to go" and then offered that respectfully the app should provide information on this as someone like myself who drove 40 minutes for the appointment might be less calm about the situation. She apologized and blamed corporate and I quote "we have no control of what the app provides as it is corporate control and we have made many suggestions about this in the past."
This morning I returned at 6:10am for my new appointment all previously mentioned documents in hand plus my marriage certificate. I was turned away again! I was furious! I got up at 4am to prepare myself and my autistic son for my early appointment. This time the reason was that because my name on my nine year old file was different than that on my marriage certificate. Of course it is! I was married to someone else and then divorced, and later remarried someone different. Why would it say anything other than my maiden and new married name? The woman at the counter told me to hold on and went to ask someone above her who wouldn't even look at me. She was told by the superior that I now was requested to provide proof of my previous married name from eight years ago and kept repeating "you must have something on you that would show this was once your name too. Don't you have anything? Well what we really need is your divorce papers."
I could not believe what I was hearing! I specifically asked at my visit only two days prior if they were sure all they wanted from me was my marriage certificate and nothing else. Now I was being asked to produce divorce paper work from 2011.
I drove 40 minutes a second time in two days only to be turned away because of incompetence. It costed me $30 in fuel and two days of school work that I have to catch up on, all for absolutely nothing! I was so upset I cried most of the way home. No one offered any alternative, like perhaps taking me and allowing to bring the document at the next visit, since I drove all that way again because they were not properly informing. I would've scheduled my next appointment for friday and delivered the document.
The whole thing was so ridiculous and no one there even attempted to be helpful.in fact when they realized there was a problem, large effort was made to not make eye contact with me or speak to me any further. I was simply dismissed.
I worked in customer service and management most of my life. I have never on my worst day treated a person with such disregard. As a student of medical studies, this really disappoints me and justifies my argument that people are just lazy and do not care about others, even when they are at their place of business and expected to care about the people they are serving... The people who make it possible for them to have a job to go to in the first place.

This complaint forum says I should write a resolution... They only thing I would want at this point is reimbursement for all the fuel I wasted. I will never return to the fond du lac location and I will certainly not recommend that my husband use that location as he too wanted to donate.
