I paid my utility bill using Billmatrix and received an error message and di not receive my confirmation email. When I call they to request they void the duplicate transaction, I was told they could not do that without permission from the company and it would take 7-10 days. I then asked to speak to someone higher up. When I told them I was familiar with credit card and banking systems, I was told I'm sorry but there is nothing we can do. I then proceeded to let them know I wanted to make an official complaint. There system has a glitch and should have caught the duplicate as it was obvious. I stated they need to insure IT looked into this right away so this did not happen to someone else. I was currently unemployed and this could cause someone a serious issue. I also state I was aware that all calls are recorded and if this was corrected immediately I would have to report them to the state commissioners office. I was then hung up on and had to call my credit card company to bock the transactios.

Desired outcome: That when a payment is processed with in minutes of each other and contacted they resolve the issue immediately.

On 10/1/2021, I paid my through Bill Matrix and a duplicate payment error was received in the amount of $352.63 ; now that’s a total of $705.26 that was taken from my only income of a disability check! I was left with $44. I called immediately to get a refund and I was told it would take 7-10 business days. What kind of business is this? I can’t pay my rent or any other bills because of these people and their policy on refunds. I called them again today just check and see if I could get my money and they told me it’s been only 8 days wait til Friday. I was also told that on Friday to call my bank and tell them to put “ a TRACKER” on the refund! I don’t know what else to do, I found this complaint forum so I’m venting
