Date of transaction: 2/5. Total amount paid: $24,062.48. On October 3rd, the attic was estimated by the pest control to be about 10 to 12 months old due to an opening left undone by the roofer. The cost to eliminate bees and honeycomb was $690. Big sent someone out to seal the opening on 10/14 but refused to reimburse or cover the damages.
I hired this company to replace my roof in 2019
I hired this company to replace my roof in 2019. I paid over 30K. The new roof came with a 10 year warranty from the installer plus a longer warranty from the tile manufacturer. I had a leak in my house a few weeks after they finished the job. They started saying it wasn't part of the job and I had to pay extra, which I did with the agreement that any issues with that roof section would be covered by the warranty. I had the issue checked by a roof inspector and his opinion was that they didn't complete the metal flashing up to the wall like they should have, and that's why there are issues in that spot and another similar spot on the other side of the house. In October, we had a strong storm and water leaked into our house in those 2 spots (including the spot they 'repaired' a few weeks after installing the new roof). We've been trying to get warranty repair since December , but we haven't received any answer.
