I got my roof done by Gables Roofing like 10 years ago. This guy named *** helped me out, I think he's the boss or something. So, last week I noticed a leak in my ceiling. I did some snooping around and it seems like the leak is coming from the roof at the front of my house, near one of the high points. It could be the flashing or maybe a shingle that's not staying put. I've called Gables Roofing like three times already, but nobody's getting back to me. It's been a whole week now, but luckily it hasn't rained too much. I had no choice but to find another roofer to fix this mess. Seriously, what's the point of having a warranty if nobody bothers to honor it?

The roof was done, but it still leaks. The eaves were done, but they should have been seamless, which they were not. The vents on the roof were not installed properly. The eaves leak badly. On September 22, I hired Gables Roofing to do my entire roof. We had problems with leaks and wrong vents. We still have the same problems. The only way I could get them to fix it was to hire them to do the eaves, which they did on July 12. We agreed to have seamless eaves in one piece, but we did not get that. There were several joints because they measured wrong. Shortly after it rained, and unsurprisingly, we had all kinds of leaks. The back eaves were not draining properly. I contacted Gables through phone, fax, and email to report the issues and get them fixed. Finally, on November 4th, they responded. Long story short, they refused to fix it properly. The contractor told me to fix it myself and even threatened to punch me in the face. I had to hire 1st Choice Home Solutions to replace the eaves. I have a letter from 1st Choice explaining why the work needed to be done. It cost me an additional $858.04 for the replacement. I paid Gables a total of $7937.75.

Gable Roofing installed our new commercial flat roof, skylight, and eaves troughs back in 2016. Since then, we've been experiencing a leak issue, and despite reaching out to them multiple times, they haven't bothered to get back to me. I called Gable Roofing and left a message about the leaking roof, asking them to check it and replace the flashing if necessary, as it could be the cause of the leak in the apartment we're planning to rent. I left a message on their answering machine on Saturday, March 27, but didn't receive a call back. I tried again on Wednesday, March 31, at 9:00 a.m., leaving another message, but still no response. On Monday, April 5, at 10:07 a.m., I called once more, explaining the flashing issue and requesting a roof inspection. Again, no return call. I made another attempt on April 8, at 9:46 a.m., hoping for a call back, but to no avail. Finally, on April 12, at 9:46 a.m., I left a message for Gable Roofing, informing them of my intention to file a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com and take further action if necessary. I also provided my contact number. Throughout this entire process, I have remained polite in my messages, but unfortunately, they haven't shown the same courtesy by returning my calls. I sincerely hope this situation doesn't escalate, as all I want is for my roof to stop leaking so I can proceed with renting the affected apartment. However, it's now April 16, and I still haven't received a call back. Therefore, I have no choice but to proceed with filing a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com. It's disappointing to think that Gable Roofing may not call me back, fix the problem, or honor their 10-year guarantee.
