My sister recommended this company, as both she & my niece used them before. They were the most reasonable quote I received, and the gentleman who I spoke with was poIite & courteous. I am so happy I hired Big Blue. Christian & Brad showed up on time, worked quickly & efficiently, were professional, fun, and polite. There were laughs shared, which made the awful process of moving so much better! They moved a 1BR apt on the 1st floor, with a lot of boxes, to a 2nd floor apartment. They really made it look effortless, though I know it wasn't. Christian eased my dumb anxiety, which was appreciated. Brad kept me entertained, while being professional and genuinely kind. I can't say enough good things about this team & company. Except that Brad is now my favorite mover, ever lol. You can definitely count on both guys, if they are YOUR team! I wish I had gotten a photo of them w/the truck. The teams my sister & niece had did ask for photos, for the reviews. I totally forgot to ask if I could take one! This experience blew my last 2 moves with competitors out of the water!

One word...Amazing! Everything about the move..For one they were WAY cheaper than the competitors, they communicated extremely well..EVERY STEP of the way. The movers and staff were extremely cautious and took excellent care of my items during the move. They even left a moving blanket on top of my wood table because of the moisture in the basement. Who thinks of that?!? I will never use OR recommend another mover again! THANK YOU so much Big Blue Moving, movers and staff!

Big Blue Moving was professional and efficient. They arrived on time as promised and the team did a fantastic job. The movers, John, Sarah, and Mike, work diligently in the 90 degree plus temperature, but seemed mostly unfazed by the heat. They took care to wrap each piece of furniture and made sure all the pieces arrived safe and undamaged. They were able to complete the move in less time than was estimated, which was a nice plus. I will definitely recommend Big Blue Moving to all my friends and family.

Our realtor recommended Big Blue Moving, and we're so glad she did! Tyler L and Lamar W were the best. Very professional but also a bunch of fun! They arrived promptly and provided updates on their way to us to let us know when they'd be there. Lamar must be amazing at tetris, because he packed the truck so carefully and thoughtfully. The place we moved into is up a flight of stairs, and they handled everything so carefully, we didn't have any issues. I don't plan on moving again any time soon, but if we do, I'd use them again!

I truly can't say enough good things about Big Blue Moving. This is the second time my family has used them and they never fail to disappoint! They breezed through loading our upstairs apartment with an awkward corner like it was nothing, even with lots of heavy furniture, and helped us move our stuff to the new place in literally lightning speed. John N, Charlotte C, and Mike were extremely polite and professional. Nothing was broken or scratched and we couldn't be happier. Next time we have to move again, we will be calling Big Blue for sure! HIGHLY recommend!

We used Big Blue Moving just a week ago for our move. I was nervous about using movers (never used a moving company before always just had family and friends help) but WOW Big Blue Moving blew me away! I talked to 5 moving companies and they were the cheapest and had the best ratings by far, so I booked them. Absolutely phenomenal service. Ryan and Dillion were our movers and they were so hardworking, quick, careful, professional, friendly, personable, and polite! I can't say enough good things. If you're moving, do yourself a favor and hire Big Blue Movers!

A BIG shoutout to Big Blue Moving for helping make our moving day great! Not only were a Ryan S. And Lawrence hard-working and polite, but they took care of each box and piece of furniture like it belonged to someone they cared about. They arrived on time and got right to work with the expertise of two very experienced movers. It was a long and extremely hot day but Ryan S. and Lawrence never complained or stopped until we were completely satisfied. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing movers. Their rates are fair and reasonable.

This is my first time using a moving company so I expected stress and hassle. After contacting a few different companies, I chose Big Blue. Brandon and Andy arrived on time and got right to work. These are hands down 2 of the hardest workers I've ever seen. I had several very heavy, awkward items that were no challenge for these guys to get from one basement to another. There was no damage done to my walls or my belongings. They are extremely friendly, down to earth and professional. If I ever need movers again I won't hesitate to call Big Blue and I'd absolutely request Brandon and Andy to do the job again.

We recently used Big Blue for a local move. They were highly recommended to us and I am very glad we went with them. Our team was John, Mike, Sarah S and Mark T. They arrived on time with smiles on their face and very personable! I was very impressed by their professionalism, politeness and carefulness. Not to mention they were very strong and quick. They worked very well as a team and if they had questions, they were quick to ask. I am so glad that we chose Big Blue Moving because they made what can be a stressful experience, a good one. These guys were class-act professionals and I couldn't recommend them enough!

STAGE 1 MOVE: I recently used Big Blue Moving for a second time for a local move on September 24th. The movers, Nathan and Jesse, were polite, efficient, and got the job done quickly without damaging anything. They not only packed the truck neatly, but moved furniture into staging areas in preperation for the second stage part of my move into a new house. I will definately use them again in the future. Thanks again for a stress-free move. STAGE 2 MOVE: September 27 - Andrew G and Hassan A moved the basement and garage items that Nathan and Jesse staged during Stage 1. They were quick and efficient and made the move a breeze. Great service overall.

I would just like to say I was really ecstatic by the way Deion C and Zach S handled my move! They were defeated by the drive way but they did everything I asked of them. Not to mention I'm 5 months pregnant and my Husband just had back surgery and isn't able to lift anything at all! They removed so much stress from me. They made me feel fantastic and happy. I would recommend these men to anyone! These fellas need a bonus. They both padded and wrapped every piece of furniture that left my house. They didn't complain when they got to the unload and happen to see my drive way. It's literally a 45 decree angle! I'm very happy and satisfied! 10 out of 10!

When we moved last week I was proud by how much I felt that I had prepared for the big moving day...turns out I have not moved in a really long time. The amount of stuff I accumulated was a bit overwhelming for me and Brandon Smith and Dustin Miller were absolutely empathetic. During the whole move which was every minute of seven hours worth of extremely hard work they had a smile on their face and did not say anything negative about the utter chaos that I had left for them. I really can't speak enough about how diligent and how hard they worked. They treated my stuff as their own and I could not have asked for any better movers. They were 100% the A-Team. Thank you very much!

I want to compliment the team of Brandon S. and Alex S. on a recent move for a Senior who was moving to a long term care facility for her first time. Very Anxious and nervous of course but this team of Brandon and Alex did this move with the utmost respect and with amazing care of her items. I was even more impressed when we arrived at the nursing facility and was greeted by the maintenance personnel, again Brandon and Alex took it upon themselves to greet the individual and to plan that the items would be placed efficiently and safely until the home could do a complete inventory and assessment. I highly recommend Big Blue Moving but especially the TEAM of Alex and Brandon.

Highly recommend! Quick to respond and clear communication. They accommodated my move on short notice (less than a week's notice), as my move-in date had been pushed back and it took awhile to finalize the new date. Tyler L and Matt P were the actual movers, and they were fantastic! They were professional, hard-working, and courteous. They were thoughtful and careful about how they loaded everything up (lots of fragile stuff), and they got done quicker than expected. At the delivery end, they were real troopers about taking everything up two flights of stairs. They made sure to put all the boxes and furniture where I wanted each thing to go. Everything came through intact, and the job was done quicker than I expected. Whenever I do move again, I'll be sure to use Big Blue Moving!

Highly recommend Big Blue Moving company! J R and his team did an amazing job with my move yesterday. They were patient, helpful and didn't complain at all about my heavy/awkward furniture that was not easy to move up and down staircases and in the rain. They were careful with my furniture and wrapped everything so it did not get wet. They were extremely careful moving each piece as to not damage my walls, door frames, etc. There was no damage to any of my items or the new home. They were super easy to work with, answered questions before and during the move. Polite, helpful and did exactly what they said, they were on time (actually gave a 1 hour before arrival courtesy call), they were up front with all pricing. I can't say enough about how great these guys were at moving my things. Would definitely use Big Blue Moving Company again. Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

Our amazing moving crew - Dylan S., Anthony, Jamie and David C.- did an outstanding job loading up our home today, a Sunday, for our out of state move! They showed up on time and took the stress out of our huge move. They worked so hard and so fast ... our entire 2 story, 4 bedroom home, 2 car garage, full basement and several outdoor furniture sets were wrapped carefully, padded professionally and strategically loaded on the 2 big trucks in just 5 hours! We've moved well over 10 times and this move was by far the smoothest, quickest and careful loading of them all. They were all so polite, professional and personable. They were even nice to and patient with our 2 dogs. We are looking forward to our delivery and unloading at our new home in Ohio on Tuesday. The easiest thing to do is to send you the email I sent to them the day after the service. "Hello, I was given this email to reach out and express my unhappiness regarding the moving experience I had yesterday. First off I want to say that it is nothing against the guys you sent. They were very nice and overall fairly professional. I tipped them both well. So I am not upset at them; just upset about the experience overall. But, I had a number of problems; let me lay them out. At the outset, the two young men arrived and did not have masks. When I scheduled it on the phone I specifically asked about masks and was told they would be wearing them. But they did not have any, and I did not have extras, so they went the whole day without masks. Not thrilled about this. They also did not bring tools. I needed them to disassemble my beds, but they did not bring even simple tools. Thankfully my friend (who is a locksmith) was there and was able to lend his. Also, they broke both of my standing lamps, so now I have none, and they gouged a hole in my new house's hardwood floor when they knocked a brick over because they weren't being careful. I was standing there when it happened. I can take a photo of that if needed. My friend said he thought they also damaged a door at the old house, because they weren't careful bringing items upstairs, but I have yet to visually confirm this. Also, it didn't all fit. I have to think this is because they didn't pack it well. About halfway through, I raised a concern that it wouldn't all fit. Andrew said that it would. Again, later, I said the same two more times, and both times he said "it'll fit. I promise you." Well, it didn't. A number of lamps, tray tables, a computer tower, etc. all got left behind. So I didn't appreciate that. They were told the washer and dryer were going to a different location and those would have to be loaded last. They loaded them close to last, but put other things in front of them and then said "huh. We buried the washer and dryer" and I said "yeah. You did." So that added time when they had to unload them. But by far the biggest problem was the time. The whole move took ten hours, and there is no way it should have taken that long. This was booked as a 4-6 hour job, and that's what it should have been. My wife left and took her half of the stuff; I had been moving boxes over for a week; and a lot of things are still there because I haven't packed them. My point is, it wasn't even a full three-bedroom house. Not even close. But it still took ten hours. Overall, the guys were simply slow. My friend who was there with me can confirm this. Oftentimes, they seemed to be standing around, not sure what to do. I had to direct them or make suggestions throughout the day to try to increase efficiency. I even started helping load and unload because it was taking so long. One of the guys told me it was only his second day on the job, and before that he wasn't working as a mover. He was moving slow, and ended up chafed and hobbling halfway through loading, making him move even slower. He also kept stopping to chat with me. I appreciate the friendliness, but he was asking me about what kind of law I practice, what my favorite Star Wars books are, whether or not I think we'll move to a peaceful, sex-positive society like bonobos... etc. I don't mind chatting but he was stopping what he was doing to talk. I'm sure there was more, but that's the gist of it. I was not even close to happy with the service. I took out $600 in cash because I thought that would be plenty. I ended up having to put almost another $500 on my card. I wouldn't have even done that; I requested they invoice me for the rest, but they said they could not, and I was told by Dylan that they would not leave until they had received payment in full. I am probably going to contest this charge, unless your customer care can work something out. I need to be contacted to discuss this situation. If I can't get satisfaction, my next contact will be to the ComplaintsBoard.com. As a final note, on the way out the door, the men informed me that your employees have a competition based on Google/Yelp reviews, wherein the top performers get higher pay, and the bottom performers get docked pay. I was shocked and offended to hear this. I may not have been happy with the service, but the idea that my failure to review them would actually dock their pay both offended me and made me feel guilty, and I don't think that's appropriate." On the day of the move, the movers marked it down as a 7.5-hour job (it took ten). The manager on the phone gave me the weekday rate of $125 instead of the Sunday rate of $140. Afterward, I sent the above email. They did send someone out for my floor, and they claim to be processing something for the lamps, but otherwise they "investigated" it for almost three weeks and then informed me that they would not be doing anything further.
