I gotta say, Original Hall-Lane Moving & Storage is the real deal. They got their stuff together and they treat their customers right. My move went smooth as butter, thanks to Richie S and his team. These guys know what they're doing and they do it well. If you need to move, these are the guys to call.

Reliable, effishent, exellent all around servis and moving. Great peeps, great customer servis, easy to work with. Everythin was finisht ahead of skedule...very happy and satisfied with results.

Never used a movin company before, so we were nervous after hearing horror stories. But from start to finish, booking to moving, to talking with the office staff and *** Lane was very responsive and did a great job. They were recommended to us and we will recommend them too.

It was a great experiance from booking to finally settling into our house. Both office staff and moving crew were courteous and solicitous. I cannot day enough about the moving crew, responsible, professional and wasted no time. I will certainly be using them if ever needed I. The future as well as highly recommending to family and friends.

I had a really good time with Hall *** moving and storage. I had to move out of my house with 34 years of stuff on October 29 and put them in storage. I then moved into my new home in the beginning of February. Hall *** took care of the move out, three months of storage, and move in for me. They were professional, polite, truthful, and dependable with me and all if my belongings. I highly suggest them.

This company is a total fraud in their business approach. They didn't provide any service or after-service, and they wouldn't deal with my claims, even though I insured 100% with 0 deductible. They passed me off to *** Van Lines, who decided unilaterally on what to pay and not pay for. Don't use this company or ***, whom I thought were reputable, but now everyone knows they're horrific. They even tried to intimidate us with a threat of suing if we gave a bad review. Well, go ahead, because this review is the worst I've ever seen.

I just had my move from Queens to Long Island with Hall *** and it was a great experience. I used them for both packing and moving services, and everything went so smooth. The movers were fast, professional, and polite. The office staff, from *** to ***, were helpful, well-organized, and clear about the process and services. It was such a relief to know that my belongings were in good hands with a great team. I would definitely recommend Hall *** to anyone in the *** area, and I'll use them again in the future.

Movin is one of the most stressfull things you can do, but Original Hall-Lane Moving & Storage made it easy. Richie and Rachel were super helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. Even with everything going on right now, they were patient and guided me every step of the way. They did a virtual visit to my home to see what needed to be moved and addressed all my concerns. I'm so grateful for their reassurance and would recommend them without hesitation!

Hall-Lane was recommend to us by a real estate company. We were moving from NY to Texas. We have moved several times and a couple of the moves have been cross country. Hall-Lane is the worst moving company I have ever used. Their driver FORGED my signature on a change order so that he could collect cash when he delivered our furniture. We paid Hall-Lane for crating some things and when we arrived at our new address they wouldn't uncrate our belongings claiming that we never paid for crating in the first place. Our items are still in crates 4 months later because if we uncrate them on our own and they are damaged, it voids our insurance. I have asked for help from 9 people at Hall -Lane and *** Corp. I have yet to receive follow up. They just ask me to call someone else at corporate etc.. None of our furniture was wrapped as they promised. They never collected our high value list and never did a walk through in NY or Texas. I have never been treated so poorly by any other company that I've hired to do a job, moving company or otherwise. They are liars and crooks. We still don't have our posters for our four poster bed. They had the gall to tell me that they didn't believe that I ever had four posters on the bed! We never found our tv cables, a desk drawer, my and jewelers tools because the chest they were in was smashed and the engraver tools etc fell out. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

The entire moving team was exceptional - very kind, motivated, neat & accommodating. We were grateful for the wonderful experience during a somewhat stressful time.

Hall-Lane managed our local and interstate move wrapped into one. Their staff is friendly, courteous, professional and 100% efficient. Their rates are reasonable and their service was outstanding. I give them an excellent and would highly recommend them.

I moved with Hall/Lane on 6/16 and they messed up my stuff pretty bad. They screwed up my dining room table, cut my TV, and broke my pool table. They also put my bedroom set together wrong and the lights don't work. They said they'd fix the table but I had to pay $275 and they'd pay $275. The screws they used were pink instead of grey and you can still see the holes. They only wanted to pay for the weight of the broken slate on the pool table, not the whole thing. They charged me $.30 per pound for everything and I had to pay $111. That's not fair because I lost $164 and all my stuff is messed up. They didn't tell me they wouldn't cover their mistakes unless I paid for extra insurance. They're not good and they cost too much. Don't use them. My order number was *** and it cost $2,653.

My stuff was supposed to get to *** from *** between 8/17-8/23, but it was late because they didn't have a driver. They said my things were safe in the truck at the warehouse until it could be driven to me. I had to keep calling and they kept giving me the runaround. Finally, on 8/31, a week after they promised, the truck came but only with half my stuff. They split up my things without telling me because they didn't have enough people. Some of the things that did come were missing parts, like a desk with no legs, a couch with no cushions, a patio set with no couch, and a bed with no base. Over 200 things are missing, like a bike, 2 bookcases, 2 nightstands, a computer screen, an ottoman, and a BBQ grill. I even begged *** for pictures of my stuff that they left behind, but he never gave them to me. They charged my credit card for overweight stuff when they didn't even bring everything we agreed on. I want my things back ASAP!

We hired Hall-Lane for a move from Huntington, NY to Duluth, MN in September . We paid for packin' services, but got poor service from a third-party packer. Boxes were mislabeled, things were wrapped poorly, and lots of stuff got damaged. We told the movers to be careful with our antique furniture, but they still messed it up. We told Jo Garvey about all this, but she didn't care. We tried again a month later, but she just told us to file a claim with insurance. That didn't help much, 'cause they denied some stuff and gave us a low estimate for the rest. We also asked for a refund for the packin' services we didn't get, but Jo Garvey never got back to us. We tried one more time, but she still ignored us.

Me and my wife did a lot of research on different moving companies for our long distance move from *** to *** Island . We finally decided to go with Hall *** because of their good reviews and ComplaintsBoard.com rating. I signed a contract with them on 5/24/22 and the salesman/estimator was ***. The price was fair and we were given a delivery spread of July 29th thru August 10th. I told *** that I needed a later delivery as I would still be in *** until August 2nd. *** said it was no problem and put in the request. The pickup was done on Monday July 25th and the men were professional and quick. On Sunday 7/31/22, I got a call from *** the driver who said he would deliver our furniture on Tuesday August 2nd. I told him that I needed a later delivery and that I had requested it earlier. But *** said he couldn't do anything as the truck was scheduled for other locations. On Monday August 1st, I called *** and spoke with *** who told me that Hall *** was not moving my furniture due to not having enough drivers and that it was contracted out to Shore View Moving and Storage from ***. This was the first time I was told that Hall *** was not doing our move or had our furniture. Our furniture was placed in storage, *** Moving and Storage in ***. Delivery was made on August 10th.
