Betty Crocker Disappointing Experience with Betty Crocker Sugar Cookies: Poor Results and Missing Expiration Date

I just tried making some sugar cookies from Betty Crocker's website and I gotta say, they didn't turn out too great. The bottom was nice and brown, but the top was still white as snow. I followed the instructions and left them in the oven for anywhere from 7 to 15 minutes, but they all ended up looking the same - awful.

I also noticed that I couldn't find the expiration date on the package. This isn't the first time I've had this problem with Betty Crocker products, but I've never had any issues with them before. I bought these cookies on April 9th, 2019 at HEB.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience. I was really looking forward to some delicious sugar cookies, but instead I ended up with a batch of sad-looking treats. I hope Betty Crocker can improve their products and packaging in the future.

Betty Crocker Betty Crocker Brownie Mix Review: Misleading Serving Size, Tasty but Not Worth the Hassle

I gotta say, I was pretty let down by this Betty Crocker brownie mix. The box says it's supposed to make a whole dozen brownie cups, but let me tell ya, that's a load of baloney. Unless you're using just a teensy spoonful of batter for each cup, there's no way you're getting a full twelve out of this mix. I had to run out and buy another box halfway through making 'em, which was a real pain in the you-know-what.

In the end, I wound up with seventeen brownie cups total, using two boxes and including the topping. Now, don't get me wrong, they tasted pretty good - but I just don't think it's worth the hassle. Next time, I'm gonna try making 'em from scratch instead. At least then I'll know exactly how many I'm gonna get out of it.

Betty Crocker Disappointing Betty Crocker Au Gratin Potatoes: Sparse Potatoes and Gritty Sauce

So, I just tried Betty Crocker's au gratin creamy cheese sauce potato for the first time, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a letdown. I mean, there were hardly any potatoes in there! And the ones that were there had some black spots that I had to cut away. Not cool, Betty Crocker. And the sauce? It was gritty, so I had to add some extra cheddar to make it smoother. Even the kids weren't too thrilled with it. I guess this is what happens when you try to take shortcuts.

Betty Crocker Betty Crocker's Cake Mixes Disappoint: Not Enough Mix for a Decent Cake

I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed out about Betty Crocker's cake mixes. Used to be, one box was enough to make a decent 9 x 13 cake. But now? I gotta use two boxes just to get a cake that's not scrawny. What gives, Betty? Why cut back on the mix? It feels like everyone's trying to pull the "less product, more money" trick these days, and it's just not cool. I'm not gonna buy your cake mixes or any other mixes again if this is how it's gonna be. Step up your game, Betty Crocker!

Betty Crocker Betty Crocker Review: Great Products, but Disappointed by Discontinued Mix

Betty Crocker is a company that I really like. They make baking fun and exciting, and I use their products every month. Whenever there's a birthday, I always turn to Betty Crocker. However, I was disappointed to find out that they stopped making their molasses cookie mix. That was my favorite mix, and I wish they hadn't stopped making it. Betty Crocker, if you're reading this, please bring back the molasses cookie mix. I miss it so much!

Betty Crocker Disappointing Betty Crocker Cake Mix: Cutbacks on Ingredients?

Betty Crocker used to be our go-to for cake mixes, but we were really let down by our recent purchase. The cake was super thin and we were really disappointed. We even did some research and found out that Betty Crocker has cut back on their cake mix ingredients instead of raising the price. It's just not worth it to spend our time and money on something that doesn't deliver. We won't be buying anything from Betty Crocker again. We've found that making our own cakes from scratch is a much better option.

Betty Crocker Life-changing cooking resource for home chefs: My 7-year experience with this website

I been using this website for like 7 years now and it's like the best thing ever for people who like to cook but ain't like professional chefs or nothing. You can learn so much from it too. Like since 2004, I been using it to learn how to stay healthy by figuring out how to buy, store, prepare, and cook different foods. Plus, it tells you when you gotta throw stuff away so you don't get sick or nothing. This website is like worth more than gold to me, I swear.

Betty Crocker Betty Crocker's Gluten-Free Cake Mix Contains Harmful Substance: A Review

Betty Crocker, what's the deal? I can't believe you added a harmful substance to your gluten-free cake mix. Who needs that? It's linked to all sorts of health problems like Crohn's, IBS, and other gut issues. Plus, it's even been linked to Alzheimer's, which is more common in people with celiac disease. What gives? I've been buying your products for over a decade, but this is going straight in the garbage. Why would you put people with health problems at even more risk? It's just not right.

Betty Crocker Disappointed with Betty Crocker Kettle and Customer Service

I bought the Betty Crocker electric cordless 1.7 ltr kettle stailness steel from Walmart in May 2022. Unfortunately, I have encountered a problem with the measurement side rubber leaking water. I reached out to the manufacturer to inquire about repair or return options, but to my surprise, they informed me that I would have to pay for postage. This cost is almost as much as the price of the kettle itself!

I find it strange that other manufacturers typically provide a return label for defective products, but Betty Crocker does not. As a result, I am disappointed with their customer service and will not be purchasing or recommending their products in the future.

Overall, I believe that it is important for companies to stand behind their products and provide reasonable solutions for customers who encounter issues. Unfortunately, my experience with Betty Crocker has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.

Betty Crocker Betty Crocker's New Frosting Recipe is a Disaster: A Review

I gotta tell ya, I've been using Betty Crocker's frosting for years. I mean, I'm in my 70s, so I've been around the block a few times. And let me tell you, this new recipe they got goin' on is a complete disaster. I don't know who came up with it, but they need to go back to the drawing board.

I mean, I get it. The convenience of using pre-made frosting is a real time-saver. But this stuff is practically a liquid. I tried it once and complained, but I figured maybe it was just a bad batch. So I waited a few months and gave it another shot. And let me tell you, it's even worse than before.

The layers on my cake won't stay together because the frosting is so watery. It just slides right off. And don't even get me started on how it drips down the sides of the cake. It's like it's not even trying to adhere to the cake. It just puddles alongside it like a sad, pathetic excuse for frosting.

I've ruined two cakes with this stuff, and I'm not about to waste my money on it again. So if you're thinking about buying Betty Crocker's frosting, don't. Just save yourself the trouble and make your own. Trust me, it's worth the extra effort.

Betty Crocker Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix Review: Easy Instructions, Disappointing Results

But, gotta give it to Betty Crocker for the easy instructions. Just add water, oil, and eggs. Boom, you got yourself some brownie batter. The consistency was good too, not too thick or runny.

However, I was disappointed with the end result. The brownies were dry and crumbly. I had to add some ice cream just to make them edible.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend the Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix. Maybe try a different brand or make them from scratch. Don't waste your money on this one.

Betty Crocker Disappointing Experience with Betty Crocker Lemon Cake Mix: Bugs Found Inside

So, I went to the store and picked up a Betty Crocker lemon cake mix. I was excited to try it out because I've heard so many good things about Betty Crocker products. But when I got home and opened the packet, I found ants and weevils crawling around inside. It was gross and really disappointing.

I checked the expiry date on the packet and it said August 6th, 2021. So, it wasn't expired or anything. I don't know how the bugs got in there, but it was definitely not a pleasant experience.

I think Betty Crocker should do better when it comes to the quality of their products. As consumers, we expect high quality from such a well-known and loved brand. Finding bugs in a cake mix is not something that should happen.

Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with Betty Crocker. I hope they take this feedback seriously and work on improving the quality of their products.
