Betty Crocker review: What happened???

I bought a German Chocolate cake Mix the other day. It rose properly, a pretty cake in the pan. This was the first Betty Crocker cake mix I had bought in 10 years. We had retired to Mexico for 10 years, but had to come back to Texas because of medical problems. The taste was the problem we had with the cake. No chocolate taste of any kind not even a red velvet chocolate taste, this cake mix just had the color of chocolate cake, again, no chocolate flavor what so ever. I and my family had always used Betty Crocker, what happened in the 10 year period? We both had a piece, and threw out the remainder of the piece, and the remainder of the cake. What happened Betty Crocker? Your cake mixes are no longer on our grocery list, sorry.
